“Never received my full order and just eat refuses to refund my money”

“I've given 1 star because zero isn't an option. For some reason I still don't understand, their website screwed up my delivery address to the first house on my road, the residents of which are on holiday. The food was either dumped on their doorstep or stolen by the driver but no effort was made to contact me on the number I provided. Just Eats website offers no ability to deal with this in real time, so my only option was to email asking for my £24 back. The response was to completely ignore any of my questions and basically tell me "not our problem, we don't care". This isn't just appalling customer service, but wholly foolish as well, because I'm never going to use them again and I'm going to be actively encouraging everyone I know to avoid them like the plague as well.”

“I paid for £27 worth of food to be delivered to the hotel I was staying at. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours and nobody turned up. I messaged them and they said the delivery driver waited for me outside the hotel for 9 minutes so they would not refund me. Why would they wait outside? Shouldn't they go in and ask at reception? If I'd ordered food to my house and they just stood outside without knocking, that would be stupid, so how come this is OK? I've been trying to reason with them for weeks and they've been incredibly dismissive. Terrible customer service.”

“Ordered from. Just Eat. No food arrived. Called the restaurant, they take no responsibility for the failed delivery, apparently the rider took it somewhere else, so £50 of food are gone, enjoyed by a stranger. Restaurant does not care at all. Good customer service would be to deliver food free of charge and then they will get reimbursed but not a chance. No one takes responsibility, so if you want to waste money and food, order from Sushimo.”

“I asked for delivery. It never arrived. I called the restaurant and they told me that they (Dominos at Alcorcon, Madrid) were already closed. However, I still got charged by you. I am fighting the case through Paypal.”

“Terrible customer service! Spent 45 minutes trying to get in touch with them after a wrong food order delivery... was told as I had recieved someone else's pizza and fries they would only refund me the remaining of my order. We ordered pizza, garlic bread with mozzarella, slow roasted potatoes and 2 truffle fries. Fuming to be honest!”

“Would give them no stars if possible. Ordered Vegetarian food and meat products turned up instead.......nothing Just-eat will do about it. Apparently I should just eat the meat or go without food?”

“Will never use again, no contact number if your order disappears from their app, can’t get a refund on an order that never turned up, scam company that do fraudulent behaviour, they made sure the order disappeared from the app so I had no way of contacting them about the order missing, going to get legal advice on this now”

“I ordered KFC Walworth family bucket today. Spend £33,Waited 30min after just eat apps tracking saying my food has been delivered but I never received delivery.I was so upset and extremely disappointed. I was waiting for food because I was fasting 18 hours today. Now I have decided delete just eat apps from my phone and my partner phone as well. Never ever used again. Rubbish.”

“Food is always cold and missing getting sick of it! I have to order my grocerys in as I'm disabled and now been on hold for hours to be cut off multiple times as I'm missing an item in my order and they are refusing to refund it! £3? Accusing me of lying when the shop has admitted they didn't include it, they said "tough" on the phone and hung up! It's disgusting. Apparently I've made too many claims for missing food! How is that the customers fault! You should be checking it! Now I'm getting transcripts and having to go legal on them it's a joke. Avoid using if you want a peaceful life and ITEMS YOU ORDER AND PAY FOR!! COMPLETELY ILLEGAL.. I'm seeking legal advice and will hold others will join me in reporting them as completely fraudulent.. disgusting company. My husbands even a delivery driver...”

“Rubbish company, set up the rule for the dishonest customer for get the free food and the claim the money back after, but why you need the takeaway to pay this money without any notice? After you the refund to customer and send us the email ask the takeaway to cover this money! Is wrong decision! Why we need to pay this if we nothing done wrong. Stupid you are. Is saus customer send them the photo for evidence but how you can prove to me the dish from the photo is definitely come from my shop, RUBBISH 😡”
