They say that they use location data to know where you are, well if that is the case it didn't work for me. They brought the food out to a house I haven't lived at in 5 years. As I clicked order I didn't notice where the address said I just assumed with the location settings it wouldn't be an issue and yet here we are. They brought it out and called me up and said where are you, I said I didn't live there and that I had tried to change my address post order but they wouldn't allow it, anyway in the end I ended up paying £38 for some food to sit in the driver's car all night. Fantastic.

DONT ORDER FROM JUST EAT. We ordered over £43 worth of food from Mcdonald's on Just Eat only for both businesses to mess up completely. To any Mcdonald's workers reading this, you ALWAYS doublecheck the order number that the driver has BEFORE giving them the food. That was taught when I worked at Mcdonald's IT IS BASIC COMMON SENSE AND TRAINING. Just Eat has refused us a refund despite the fact that we wound up with an order that was not ours. We ordered A LOT of food. Enough for 2 adults who hadn't had time to eat all day and 2 full works happy meals for toddlers. Chicken Nuggets, a quarterpounder, large fries and a coke came. NONE of that was what we ordered and was a tiny tiny order compared to ours. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Just Eat UK ​ My original order was for £53.01 (289280170) I then received somebody else's food for £31.97 (28922276019) I then had to order the missing food and paid £27.76 (289405099) You must think I'm daft if you cannot work out the maths in either Just Eats delivery driver or KFC's fault. I recommend you re-access my claim asap. Some of these delivery drivers are absolute thief's and so is just eat. They mark it as delivered but the drivers take the food and just eat customer service is terrible as they do no look into the driver nor refund your money. Also not being able to contact your driver or put in a code to make sure it’s been delivered is not set in place. Deliveroo is hundred percent better

After being a long time and loyal customer. I recieved a order with missing and wrong items. I contacted just eat through the help with order button but was told quote "on this occasion we are unable to offer you a refund or account credit as the items can still be consumed". After more emails they agreed to only give me credit for 1 missing item. And refused to refund me or even comment further about why they expected me to pay for the 3 burgers I received instead of the burgers I ordered.

Item missing from delivery. Submitted a request for refund. Got a pretty quick response saying they were unable to refund on this occasion. Emailed back asking why and got the same answer. Emailed again asking for a reasonable answer and got exactly the same reply. Pretty much a copy and paste. Asked for it to be escalated and reviewed by a Manager, which didn't happen. Contacted Paypal to process refund.

AVOID AVOID AVOID * SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE * disgusting appalling service from justeat, one order 2 and half hours late stone cold and rock hard , missing one item , only refunded me for the missing fries and disregarded the food being nearly 3 hour late or it being cold, made several complaints to the customer service team, kept being told there is nothing they can do as its not in line with the policy.. anothe order delivery never turned up at all.. contacted just eat and they said someone came in to the store and picked up my delivery for a collection.. how is that even possible.. appalling company bunch of thieves

Absolute joke. Order the main item of bacon roll and they forget it. If the driver did not run off down the stairs I could have told him. Ordered it Saturday from Costa Coffee Selsdon Incredible you cannot contact Costa Coffee at the weekend. Can't get to speak to Just Eat either and then they only give you credit. Not much good if you got to order missing item again and have to pay for delivery Incredible you cannot contact Just Eat or the store

Ho ordinato che dicesse che l'ordine non era stato verificato e poi, dopo aver contattato l'assistenza, mi hanno letteralmente aiutato con nient'altro che presentare un rapporto, senza inviare nuovamente l'ordine, senza rimborso immediato, nulla e ora ho dovuto comportarmi come un pazzo e pagare due volte perché ho bisogno dell'ordine. inaccettabile, il mio nuovo ordine dovrebbe arrivare alle 17:00, mentre la scadenza dell'originale era prevista per le 15:17 e ora tutto ciò che posso fare è sperare che il rimborso avvenga effettivamente

just eat r a bloody con. ordered from them and they took money and sent out for delivery, said it was delivered but driver didnt deliver to us. there drivers when they do turn up the bloody food is cold or missing items and the drivers get lost trying to find my address. its not worth the stress so will be going to shop myseelf.

Do not order from Just eat. I've ordered from ASDA and some of my goodies was missing, ASDA agreed to a refund but Just eat refuses to refund. BE WARNED JUST EAT IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES. Can someone please help or advise where I can report Just eat to get my money back??

Numerous time I've had to request refunds and even though the restaurants agree via phone call, just eat constanly email asking for photo evidence, asking what happened, numerous different people email A-line questions like the fbi, even though you explain and send photos you still do not get the refund. They are absolutely appalling and the customer service is shocking to say the least. Awful service.

UPDATE ON 13 APRIL 2024: More fool me for not taking my own advice below. I ordered a chinese meal direct from the local chinese restaurant but got a message saying they can't complete the order and that I need to choose a different payment method (which I haven't got). I pressed the back button and the order had disappeared. I should at that point of phoned the restaurant but I prefer to order stuff online so the order is clear. I thought I'd go through Just Eat again and requested the same order which went through. One minute later I get 2 emails, one from the restaurant saying they have confirmed my original order and one from Just Eat saying the same. I immediately called the restaurant asking them to cancel one of the orders. He said they have started cooking their own order and asked me to cancel it with Just Eat which I did straight away but it cannot be done by calling anyone - you can literally only do it on the app and they said it was over 5 mins since I placed the order so my 2 options were to either keep the order or that I would be charged 100% if I cancelled. I decided to cancel and thought I will have to go back in and sort out the refund but I spent about half an hour trying to find out (with Google help too) how to actually contact a human being at Just Eat. I still had no clue how to do this by the time my freshly cooked meal arrived! Eventually I came across a link to chat online which apparently I was only to use in an emergency if I was worried for my safety - well, no actually since there is no alternative! I waited for an agent and when the robot asked how they could help I started typing my situation and in less than 10 seconds (because I can't type with 2 thumbs on a mobile fast enough for them) they came back with 'are you still there?' Well, yes I am thinking, can't you see when I am typing as I can see when you are? Less than 5 seconds later, 'as we haven't heard from you we are cutting you off now', well thanks! I went on again and when the agent came on I said please can you allow me enough time to type my issue and they said 'sure' so this time I got a bit further. When I finished they said you opted to pay 100%, you pressed the button to confirm you understood that. No my dear, you didn't give me another option to explain that I had already agreed with the restaurant that I would cancel the Just Eat order. She said you were 10 mins before you cancelled the order so the restaurant had already started cooking the order. No my dear, again you are not listening! She said they have already sent my payment to the restaurant so they can't refund me - not my problem if you have done that already. The chat was cut. I since realised on checking my emails I had one saying order placed with Just Eat at 19.04 and then order cancelled at 19.09, therefore (just) within their 5 mins stipulation and not the 10 mins robot woman said it was. Now I have the bother of trying to guess an email address that might work to send them my evidence as a Just Eat email address to put things right is Britain's best kept secret! ORIGINAL REVIEW ON 7 JAN 2024: This company are thieves! I placed an order on 7 Jan 2024. When it arrived one item I ordered to the value of £7.29 was swapped out for an item to the value of just £1.99. I sent photo evidence straight away and got a message back saying they would review and refund within 48 hours. I had requested a refund of £7.29 to my original payment card as it was the restaurant's mistake sending the wrong lesser value item. I waited 7 days before I got an email back saying they had credited my account "to the value of the affected items" so not even confirming the actual value and not explaining why they have provided credit instead of the card refund requested, also not confirming how I can apply the credit to my next order. I decided to place a further order today just to use the credit which they told me was on the account. I could not see where to find the credit so I had to Google how to use the credit. It said "select the Pay from account from the payment options". The only options were, Pay from Paypal, Pay from Google Pay, Pay with cash/card. Basically they lied and did not apply any credit and have stolen my money so I will never use them again. They are just as bad as all the delivery companies who have all let me down.

Order did not arrive. Saying delivered. Everyone is hungry. Takes up to 2 weeks fir a refund. Ridiculous! How is this company STILL running because it's appalling considering you're paying them to deliver also. Not the first time this has happened. And looking at all the negative comments, should be closed down.

Fed up of false TV adverts 8 items missing only got 3 delivered despite this company stealing my money. I'm disabled and rely on online shopping, I don't have a lot of money to live off. These companies bleed you dry then steal from you. I've just found out about Tesco woosh, which I'll be using from now on.

Just eat refused to refund me for two spilled drinks even after sending photographs of the mess. Their response was the foods still edible. I had only requested a refund for the drinks but clearly they want me to suck the residue of the drinks of the soaked delivery bag. They never deal with bad restaurants or drivers just keep customers money. Absolute thieves.

I am not happy about services because it shows your reorder will be in 20 minutes or in One hour . And in 20 minutes the delivery driver called me that he was there from 10 minutes and u didn't reply . I didn't hear any phone call. Communication doesn't exist .

I ordered a coffee and iced drink, the ordered arrived an hour after the order being placed. The coffee and iced drink arrived cold and melted, in addition to this spilt over the other two items in the bag. The driver confirmed there was a problem with the app which delayed him so much and apologised for what happened. The customer service team are completely incompetent, they didn’t offer any goodwill gesture and to add insult to injury didn’t look into the complaint. I have now deleted my account with them, they are cowboys and ripping people off.
