On the 7th March we ordered £30 worth of food for our kids as it was my youngest birthday meal of choice (order number 1938662757). An order arrived quickly but it was only £10 worth of food and order number 51958. Driver took off quickly so we couldn't alert him. I made a complaint and took a picture of the unopened food bags and receipt including date, time, order number etc... I then reordered the same food (1938723095 which took over an hour to arrive. The driver said there were no burger patties apparently!). I've been told by Just Eat that, despite sending a picture of the wrong order receipt as they request, it is not proof enough that my order was not delivered. How am I supposed to evidence something that didn't arrive!? I have sent screen shots of my bank transactions and just eat orders but nope, it's not enough proof! So, they think it's OK for me to spend £60 on food to have only £40 worth even though £10 of it was not mine!! It's been reviewed twice by 2 different members of staff apparently (I could name and shame but it should be on your records who they are!). What were they reviewing exactly as it doesn't look like it was order numbers, just eat accounts or the actual details on the receipt sent!! That order was not meant for my address, it should be totally plain to see on my just eat account and, as for trying to prove food didn't arrive, I'll send pic next time of the space next to the wrong order on my kitchen counter and my kids sad faces! Give me my refund you awful scamming company!!

I ordered a takeaway from the New Paradise Restaurant in Wakefield. The delivery driver firstly nearly knocked the door down he knocked so hard – threw the food at us and left. When we opened the food, which was a Donner kebab in pitta bread and a tray of Donner meat for myself and my husband, it looked like something you wouldn’t feed to an animal. It couldn’t be called kebab meat, it resembled something like shoe leather and was cold. My husband rang the restaurant and asked them to come take the food back as it wasn’t edible which they refused to do as they said it wasn’t any good to anyone else now. I’ve just had a live chat with Just Eat and explained the situation to be told they could issue me a refund of £4.95. The food cost £14.30 and had to be put straight in the bin which in my opinion doesn’t seem right.

Absolutely useless when there’s problems, asking for photo evidence 3 weeks after purchase all this over £6.45 well you can stick your account just eat.

I had the worst experience with JustEat and the restaurant Pepes. I placed an order and paid for my food, but it was never delivered. When I reached out to JustEat and the restaurant, they did nothing to rectify the situation or offer me a refund. To make matters worse, their drivers don't even confirm the location or name of the customer, which is a massive concern. They simply drop the food off and take no responsibility for any issues that may arise. This is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for customer's money and satisfaction. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care and service from JustEat and Pepes. I paid for food that I never received, and the company refused to take any responsibility for their mistake. I would never use their service again and would advise others to steer clear as well.

First incident food was Stone cold they would not replace order or respond to my complaint, today I ordered £18 worth of food that never arrived, I eventually managed to find q way to get online chat, this took over one hour to find a chat option, they refunded me though the experience was disgusting and I will never use them again

Absolutely worst degenerates of a customer service team. Restaurant messed up - hey it happens. They offered a full refund. These clowns are trying to palm me off with a 30% account credit. The restaurant can’t do anything else because JustEat are the people who took the payment. Big up the UberEats boys - sack these morons off.

Biggest rip off merchants. They do not refund you. I contacted them about the food I received I even sent them a pic and still refused to give me a refund. The company needs to be investigated they shouldn't be allowed to rip people off. Their reply was their restaurants cook different ways lol what a scandalous joke!!!!!

Failure to recognise bad customer experiences with delivery or food quality. Stay away from those cowboys and use Uber eats or deliveroo

This review is to reflect my latest experience with Just Eat. I ordered food for collection at night and my collection time was 2.50am. It took longer to get to the restaurant than expected and I showed up just after 3am. At this point the store was already closed, no warning, no information on the app either, however my order was marked ‘collected’. I reached out to customer service and explained what happened, however they offered no solution whatsoever. In short, I paid money to waste time and effort going to an empty store and Just Eat was satisfied with offering nothing to mend the situation.

Debited my account. Food did not arrive. Just eat admitted this after speaking to the restaurant and promised refund. Still nothing 18 days later. They've discontinued there phone lines I've spoken to 53 chat advisors as soon as you state facts they get nasty or end the chat and hide behind computers as you cant ring them.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEVER ORDER VIA JUST EAT AS ISSUES CAN'T BE SOLVED I CAN'T GET A REFUND OF THESE SCAMMERS AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAINL

Sunday morning we received our mcdonalds delivery, it arrived very late (trick of just eat BTW, they will say the delivery driver is at the restaurant so you cant cancel your order) mine was at mcdonalds for a full 40 minutes. I doubt that's true. Upon delivery it was cold, probably the 40 minutes it was waiting around in the restaurant. When the driver handed me the bag it was dripping with coke, one of the drinks had toppled over. I went onto the app to report it and made a point of selecting the correct issues. Here's where the fun begins. 1) just eat do not tell you within the process that you have to take photographic evidence (it would be helpful btw but I assume you're looking to catch your customers out) 2) reminder: we received our food on Sunday morning. Monday afternoon we get an email asking for photos. 3) whhaaattt? How do I take an image of cold food? And how am I expected to take an image of an already dried paper bag thats in the bin? 4) lots of back and fourth, with me trying to make a point of the lunacy of it all to finally be told 5) because I can't provide photo evidence I can't get compensation. Maybe I should have rummaged through the bin and staged the horror again and drip coke on the floor but unfortunately I cleaned it up...how strange of me. Honestly Just Eat...what are you doing? Be transparent with your customers, don't hide this very important fact in your t&Cs. Make it visible as part of the reporting process online, you're becoming greedy and taking advantage of consumers like many other companies these days. You have competitors, people appreciate honesty. Don't be that company. Be better

If could give 0 stars that would be my rating ! I asked for a refund for the first time as my food never arrived and I had to order it again but they never refund me, this is the worst food delivery and the customer service won’t help

Order was half and hour late and not very warm, I understand the restaurant may be busy but it would have been nice if they notified me or even othered to pay back some of the bill, food wasn’t eaten and was thrown in the bin.

On Friday evening I made my first order through Just Eat and it was a meal order from Five Guys in Guildford, the order arrived incomplete. Customer services were so incompetent that I will never use Just Eat again. The order was for my kids and they were very much looking forward to it, so you can imagine their disappointment when it arrived missing items. I called Just Eat's customer services on the number provided with the order confirmation only to get an automated message to go online and chat. I went online to chat and the response was a complete joke. Also in the time it took me to do the above the food that was delivered went cold and was uneatable. I was offered credit on the missing items, but as I have no intention of using Just Eat ever again, I asked for a full refund of my order. The very poor performance of customer services in dealing with what was basically a simple mistake was shameful. Clearly their systems do not work in the interest of customers. What is the point of giving me a phone number if it's only going to ask you to join an online chat? How is offering credit on my next order supposed to feed my kids that evening? I am now getting nameless emails from Just Eat customer services telling me the case is closed. I think you will find its not until we agree a proper resolution and I will be posting on social media until we do, so please can you ask the head of customer services to give me call so we can talk rather than hide behind nameless emails.
