While I loved the experience and concept, unfortunately i felt the tie was too low quality to wear. The contrast as suggested in the photos online do not match the product I received. The colors were more muted, the finer patterns were too muddied to be able to see, and the whole thing lacked the depth and vibrancy of the images online

The pre-tied bow tie is not tied very tight, and getting it latched is cumbersome.

Tie looks faded and feels cheap/loose. Way too much money for this. Over $60 with shipping for a tie I’ll never wear and they won’t accept returns.

White tie was not textured as expected. Custom designed tie/suspenders were more blue than black/gray. Much different than online view.

Paying $10 for shipping a tie is ridiculous. Also the tie was shipped in 3 boxes.... its a tie, you need one box or an envelope. Only reason I got the tie was because of a friends wedding.

I was so excited when I found out about this company and their products. However, buyer beware they have horrendously slow shipping from their online store. They charged my credit card and held my items for 15 days before it was even shipped (I paid the shipping cost). What a coincidence that after I contacted them asking about the latency of the order, it was then shipped the next day. I will add that my purchase was a stock item from their online catalog, nothing was special ordered. Needless to say I won’t be doing business with them in the future.

This is noted on each product page, but we are sorry if there was any confusion that these products are in-stock and ready to ship. The 15 day production time is standard in order to create your order from scratch, but we do offer expedites at checkout if you needed the order faster. The company is very responsive to emails however the product took 3 weeks to arrive and it was poor quality without being able to return it. I will not order from here again. Not happy!!

I spent more than $700 total on 9 custom tie and pocket square combos. Colors were to match Azazi dresses and there were various paisley and floral styles. Of the 9, only two were done correctly, and three of them are completely unsuitable for the event. Some designs had three to four colors, allowing for nice details and contrast, none of which was retained in the final product. In the case of one paisley tie (photos attached), the colors weren't even applied correctly. Now I get to use the final weeks of wedding prep spending more time and money looking for suitable replacement ties. I did not contact you for a resolution because I have 19 days until my wedding and I'm not wasting that time waiting on potential replacements in which I have no faith given how many ties have already been messed up.

The colors of the ties were way off from the pictures AND the color chart. I practically wasted $$$ because idk when my fiancé can use these ties. They sure can’t be used for our wedding because they don’t match the bridesmaid dresses at all

The cancellation and return policy is completely backwards and the opposite of customer-first. On most sites I've used, cancellations, especially before the item is sent, are the norm. You sacrifice a product for customer loyalty. At knotty, they have someone hand knit your tie apparently with how long it takes, then when you want to cancel or return they say, no, sorry, and worst of all they use the environment as an excuse.

Hi Juan, Thanks for sharing your experience. Our cancellation policy is different than many other companies as we do print, cut, and sew our neckties and other items to order. This sustainable manufacturing process prevents us from creating inventory that could go to waste and also allows us provide our customers with thousands of design and color customization options. Once orders are in production, we are unable to offer cancellations as the material has already been printed in your designs and our sewing team has already spent their time hand crafting your products to your specifications. I made an order of three pocket squares for figuring out color most closely matched the bridesmaids dress. None of the three pocket squares identified what color they were so had to then color match the pocket squares to their chart. Fortunately was able to figure it out but all I can do is question why someone ordering three different colors wouldn’t think to add the color to the individual packaging.
