I would like to offer a big 5 star thumbs up to kwikfit manager Ian Sexton for taking the time and trouble to replace my headlight bulb despite about to close up shop. The bulb had literally blown on my way home from work and I popped into kwikfit simply hoping to arrange to have it fixed as soon as there was a free appointment space. Ian asked me to pop the car in there and then and replaced the bulb for me! I didn’t have my card on me but he just asked me to offer a review and that would be fine. You don’t get service like this very often these days…..a big shout out to a genuinely nice guy. Thanks Ian! Gary Radley

Do not use Kwikfit. Took my car for Mot, it fail on ball joint rubber cover. Was quoted £200 for part & repair. After a week of waiting for them to get the rubber covering. Ordered one myself, it cost £8 including postage. Took my car to another two garages and there is nothing wrong with it, went straight through the Mot. I have used Kwikfit in the past. But never again. They are a rip off garage. Do Not Use...

Car was in kwik fit bridge st paisley this morning for two tyres, I told the staff member I was heading to Newcastle later today and he said he would give me a complimentary fluids check to make sure everything was OK. I thought this was a really nice touch by the guy and much appreciated, he also got the job done quickly so I could be on my way. Please pass on my thanks to your staff in Paisley.

The service was efficient and an all round decent experience. I’ve been going to the Leven garage for years and they have never let me down. They, (especially Graham McL) are genuine men who wants to help with advice and Graham McL is one of the reasons I keep going back. We’re all mostly in a credit crunch but the finance package they offer through bumper has helped me out a lot. Happy, friendly and decent staff are a rare commodity nowadays but you get that from KwikFit Leven centre. They always offer to check my tyres for me as I’m disabled and find that difficult to do for myself. Sure… I’ve got an old car and it’s now costing money to repair but that’s not Kwikfits fault. I champion this garage. Well done and thank you KwikFit Leven. See you at MOT time 😊.

Kwikfit Motherwell are simply outstanding. Louise and J helped me out when I had a problem in an unfamiliar town. They were brilliant from the tele call to getting to the service centre for a fast, polite and professional repair. Well done guys and thank you very much. These guys deserve a bit of recognition and perhaps a reward from Kwikfit.

Another great review incoming for Craig and his team. After previous excellent service with puncture repairs we brought another vehicle in with two tyres losing air. Left there 1/2 hour, call back, they'd found a metal drill bit in one tyre needing to be replaced and another tyre with puncture. FAST EFFECTIVE. They're replacing/repairing tyres as needed today. Update as I write - They've already fitted new tyre, all done in an hour or so. Came with emailed thorough analysis at all four corners with photo's inc' the offending tool bit stuck in tyre. New Yoko' rubber fitted, good brand. Job -trouble shooting 4x tyres, fitment of new tyre, repair and advisories, done in 'Kwik-Fit fast TIME; all at a good price too. Happy customer again.

Aberdeen branch monthooley did an undercarriage inspection on ramp as I had a rattle after driving through mud and water during storm. Rectified and fixed with no charge. Was impossible to do without a ramp. Many many thanks for settling my mind as was worried something horrible had been ripped off. Awsome.

We bought a new tyre from a Kwik-Fit depot in September 2023. On May Bank Holiday (2024) the tyre went frlat when we were more than 100 miles from home. We visited the nearest Kwik-Fit depot. The staff were extremely helpful and set about removing the space saver wheel and fitting a new tyre to replace the one that was flat. They informed me that the reason it lost pressure was that if had been damaged during fitting. Not only did they replace it (they did charge me for the new tyre), but they wrapped up the old tyre and strapped it into the back seat, telling me to take it back to the depot that originally fitted it. The following morning, I took the tyre to the original depot. The manager immediately agreed that the tyre must have been damaged during fitting and immediately refunded the cost of the replacement tyre in cash, with no quibbles. I cannot praise the staff at both depots too highly. I will certainly continue to use Kwick-Fit, as I have done for many years. In the past I have tried other tyre companies, but always returned to Kwick-Fit because of their quality of service.

Just throwing this into the mix for people to make their own minds up. In Huddersfield there are two Kwik Fits, Leeds Road and Lockwood. In 2016 i took my LWB Jaguar XJ to Lockwood as the tyres were noisy. Was told that they were all cracked and that one ‘had a split all the way round’ and that i was lucky i got there given the power of the car. Total bill circa £1200.00 In 2021 i took my Saab Convertible to the Leeds Road branch. Was told all my tyres were illegal and ‘one had a split all the way round’. Totsl bill circa £380.00 In 2024 i took my Bentley to Lockwood for them to check a slow puncture. I had recently had the wheels refurbished and suspected either a poor seal or faulty valve. I was told they were very busy and i would have to wait for them to check it. Got chatting to two other customers in the waiting area who both said they had been waiting over two hours even though they had appointments. Eventually they guy who seemed to be in charge went out to my car and got down on his knees to look at my rear tyre, no attempt to take the wheel off and actually locate the leak and guess what he said? ‘I’ll be changing that one, it’s got a split all the way round and if you unleashed the power of the car you would have serious problems’. Quoted £649.00 for two new tyres. The tyres are Pirelli PZero 275/35 ZR20 B1 specifically for my car and fortunately they are not currently available, Bentley are letting me know when they arrive in the UK. When i got home i got down and checked the tyre myself, no split that i could see in fact the tyre looked in great condition. Spent £10 on Tyre Weld from Halfords and the tyre has lost zero pressure since. Iam a 58 year old man and during my life i have owned/had the use of more than 50 cars and the only ones that have had tyres with ‘splits all the way round’ are the ones i have taken to Kwik Fit Lockwood and Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Food for though?

I had a tyre fitted, with very minimal mileage the tyre had a big hole and apparently the object went in and out. ? Could it be the tyre was already holed, fitted with a temporary rubber that will soon wear out. Exactly 4 weeks since fitting I was buying a new tyre. Monthly tyre replacement could be our new budget beware.

Tonbridge - I waited for a part ( a pipe ) to be delivered to finish a previous job, waited a few weeks, called a few times and was always told I would be called back to say whether they had it in or not but never was. I then booked an MOT, called them the day before asking about the part again and was told to bring the car down so they could replace ready for the MOT the next day. They had my car the whole afternoon and only 3 hours after collecting ( only about 30 mins of driving in total though ) I suddenly had white smoke from my bonnet & exhaust, a grinding noise, dash warning lights & my car started slowing down. RAC guy noticed that my radiator hose had been placed back but not actually clipped on, after bumps in the road and the right amount of pressure was built up it pushed the pipe out of place causing all my coolant to pour out. We left it at Kwik Fit and I went down the next morning with the RAC report to show them. Basically my head gasket was blown along with other stuff and was apparently going to cost over £1,500 to fix. Management never admitted fault in actual words however they did fork out quite a bit for me to have a courtesy car ( which was one of the two only decent parts of this stress ) for a month... it took a whole month for this case to be with the ops manager and he hadn't even made a simple decision whether to fix or buy my car which is ridiculous. The second decent thing being the centre manager seems like a alright guy and he took the case on himself in the end and I got an answer in two days. At the end of all this even though the garage is at fault ( and I had one of the mechanics on the phone actually say "oh yeah, the car we blew up" so there we go..) they ended up buying my car from me but even though what happened wasn't my fault, I still made a loss of money, the whole month was stressful but especially trying to find a new car quickly and after only having the previous one 6 months. Overall awful communication throughout, clearly don't pay proper close attention to their work and don't like to sort things out quickly or efficiently. I would just go somewhere else if I were you.
