Kwik fit ardleigh green road, hornchurch My husband took my car in to the above workshop on Friday 24th as We were told that we would need 3 new tyres, new breaks, also 2 parts of the exhaust would have to be replaced those parts being the middle & the back end. The tyres where done that day & the car was rebooked in on Monday 27th for the rest of the repairs to be completed. On the Monday when my husband took the car back in he questioned about the exhaust because we hadn't had any trouble or noise coming from it, plus it was also booked in for a service on Friday 1st October with Peugeot in Romford so we thought it might be best for them to look at it then. Then Strangely after the staff member was questioned about the exhaust parts, by my husband we were then told there wasn't actually anything wrong with the exhaust at all & it certainly didn't need anything new as it was actually fine, which I find very odd because if an exhaust needed changing on a Friday then it would still need those two parts changing on the Monday? but in this case by Monday it was complete fine & seemed to have magically repaired itself. The Breaks were completed and I picked the car up myself only to find that inside the centre console everything was tipped out & my sons wallet had £30 missing from it, I hadn't driven my car in between the tyres being changed & the breaks being done so it hadn't been noticed by my husband that anything was missing as he wasn't aware the wallet was in there otherwise he would have taken it out before the car was left, although to be perfectly honest you should be able to leave something in your car without it being stolen, especially as you can see it's a child's wallet, a little Star Wars one, with his go Henry card in it and also an ID card that has his photo on it kind of gives it away. The only people to go in there were the tyre fitters and the other mechanics to take out the locking wheel Nut and put it back I called my husband straight away who then called the workshop and spoke to the manager who insisted that the boy who worked on the car that day would not have taken anything as he was a trusted member of staff. To be fair the money could have been taken by the tyre fitter because I wasn't using the car so it only got noticed when I picked the car up myself. My husband was really angry when he first called, but then called back and apologised & spoke calmly, and the person on the phone still said that the person who had worked on the breaks was a very trusted member of staff, my husband said that there clearly was no way of proving anything so it would just have to be left. That money was 100% taken, it was stolen from 12 year old child, so who ever took it should be extremely ashamed of themselves as my son has been saving up for a football kit with his pocket money. I hope they are proud of themselves, it's absolutely disgusting & a lowlife thing to do to anyone. my car was then serviced on 1/10/21 I was actually shocked when they called me to tell me my car was ready BUT also explained that they had found my back drivers side tyre had been put on the put on inside out, yes inside out/back to front even showing us when we got there that it clearly states on the tyre "INSIDE" which should be on the inside not on the outside, how does something like that happen, it should be just a standard simple job, it even states on the tyre which part would go on the inside. Maybe if that person wasn't trying to be so dishonest saying my car needed expensive works doing that it didn't, also paying more attention to the work they should be doing and not what money had been mistakenly left by my little boy In the centre console then the job would have been done correctly. After this incident my doubt is with the person who said that exhaust needed two new parts, but when question it didn't need doing, maybe if it had been just one part that they thought needed changing then someone else looked at and said that it was actually ok, it may have just been a mistake but in this instance the person was very specific explaining the "two" parts needed renewing, only for nothing to be wrong with it at all. I will not be going back to this branch and would certainly not encourage anyone else to use this branch as I actually can't not believe how dishonest & untrustworthy some staff members are, they lie, try & cheat you out of with made up repairs, steal and can't even put a tyre on the right way round, I think my catalytic converter would have probably got the person a nice bonus selling it on knowing there was nothing wrong with it at all, putting it through the workshop!!! If you do go there or have your car booked in there, question the works, even get a second opinion if possible and make sure you don't leave anything in there as it certainly won't be there when you go back.

Critical: Professionalism My wife's car went in for a mot failed on o/front brake pipe and two font tyres under inflated wait a min is this not a tyre company all the other faults where advisery. Now most garages would have replaced brake pipe and put air in the tyres not this manager he wanted to re book test at an extra cost of £27 after paying £45 for test after asking about tyres needing air he said to me I did not do the test very abrupt and maybe needs some sort of customer relations course also find it very funny that nothing but 5***** reviews on here anyway will never be back to Kwik fit just a money making serviced

ery poor and unprofessional approach to work. I had my car serviced from them last year at Ripple Road East London. Been going to main dealer before that. next day i started hear a banging noise from front, very annoying noise specially when car was stationary. turned out to be air filter box, which they removed badly and then could not fix it back properly and it was making loud vibration sounds. went back to them and after checking their mechanic said to me its a wear and tear, it happens, i told him i have been going to main deader for this car for 4 years, it was not a wear n tear there why here, he eventually tried to fix it with a double side tape but within 2 days noise started again. I had to go the main dealer to get that fixed. Also, the cover sheet thats under the bonnet, a bif black cover sheet, they removed it obviously to change the oil etc, but did not fix it back properly, few days after the service when i went to another garage to get new tyres, there i noticed half of the sheet was hanging because they did not put all the screw back. i requested that garage person to put screws in there. but because they were not meant for that sheet, the sheet is half broken now. overall it has been very poor experience and i am sure I will not be going to kwik fit for any of my motor needs. They should actually change their name to Kwikly Destoyed. dont save your money save your car. go somewhere else.

Had car booked in for service at Bromsgrove tomorrow, got a call the day before that they could no honour the booking. Offered an alternative week, that was not workable due to my work commitments. Rang service centre to get a refund as prepaid. On phone for half an hour no response. Went into centre and asked if they could swap the booking to another centre. They said no they couldn't. Rang other centre, very helpful, booking changed, no issue.

Fab service this week from KwikFit Bromley. Steering went in my car and I called expecting them to say bring the car in a few days / next week etc etc but instead they said bring it in straight away - even though it was 15 minutes to closing. Josh - got on the job straight away - found the problem and stayed late to finish the job - which was extremely appreciated. Many thanks

After previous poor service delivery at Kwik-Fit Brentwood I decided to avoid Kwik-Fit where I can. But when my daughter's car had a puncture on a Sunday and Kwik-Fit being open I thought I give it try again and see how it would go this time. So I brought the tire over and I asked them to repair the tire. After inspection they tell me the tire cannot be repaired, I have to buy a new one (around £120). I knew for certain the tire could be repaired, so I declined and left. The next day I brought it to my regular mechanic (PA Autos Billericay, excellent service, good price!) and he fixed it for £12. Do I need say more?

I would like to show my appreciation for whetstone Kwik fit for the amazing service they gave me the other evening. I had hobbled to their branch on literally the rim of my wheel, it was about 4 pm and they were chockablock. I was desperate, I had a funeral the next day in Eastbourne and I was driving myself and a few other people down there. I can only say the service given by Kim and head mechanic Steve was above and beyond and I am sincerely grateful for their fantastic service.

Kwik-fit Daybrook Nottingham. Did not show proof of change of oil as this caused the timing chain to fail on motorway covering only 1000 miles from the time of enhanced service including oil change. The garage that repaired the car findout that there was no engine oil at the time and no leakages from the engine. Complained to operations Manager for Daybrook Kwik-fit and was very dismissive defending staff and not willing to take responsibility telling me that my car was an old car (2011 Mercedes Benz). I paid £512 and went through this within 6Months from the time of service.

Kwik Fit Southsea. Had my daughters car booked in for a 3pm MoT today and went for a walk for an hour. We received a call on our landline which we didn’t pick up as clearly we were out walking. Got back to the centre to be told that the car had failed due to an engine management light being on. We have had the car a year and it has only done 39k miles and never had an issue with it at all. I asked what we could do and was told that they could put it on their diagnostic for a cost of £35. I said ok as clearly we needed to get the MoT done. Whilst waiting my daughter said are you sure it’s not the LIM Light which is the speed limiter? We are told no it was the EML engine management light. We asked him to show us so we walked to the car and he put the ignition on and my daughter switched off the LIM button and funny old thing the light went out. The guy then said on a BMW the light is an engine warning? This car is a Mazda 2 so what relevance that had? The MoT tester came over and looked into the car and the guy showed him exactly what we had told him and he proceeded to show him the button ‘labelled LIM on the steering wheel’. The tester acknowledged to his colleague that he had made a mistake, but hadn’t realised I was by now standing by them. We were told that we had to now wait for the tester to finish off another MOT. We duly waited for 45 minutes, after which the tester came out of the office and handed us a ‘pass’ certificate. I did ask that if over the phone we had said to go ahead with the diagnostic they would have probably said that they reset the fault code. There obviously wasn’t a fault at all although this now does show on the .gov.uk website that the vehicle had an MIL fault. So hence very happy that we first had to wait around for 45 minutes unnecessarily and also that the tester clearly didn’t know what LIM light means on a Mazda.

My daughter called in to Kwik fit on Westgate Road in Newcastle to have a a puncture repair or fit a new tyre. She had to get to North Shields to pick up her 3 Yr old son from nursery a journey of about 10 miles. The customer service agent refused to help stating a staff shortage of staff and basically chased her. She was a business client driving a vehicle which should not have been on the road. No help in any way shape or form and according to my daughter he had a disgusting attitude. I can now back that up after speaking to this particular branch on the phone. Totally unacceptable attitude and would never go near this branch again. Apology required as a minimum.
