They use AI to rewrite resumes and charge $100 USD for this service. This can easily be done for free, so I would rate it 0. It is a trap. They will not refund your money, and they won’t allow you to discuss your resume with their professional writer. This is a big red flag—do not fall into their trap. It’s a scam. They won’t allow you to talk to their supervisor or leadership. After generating my resume, they put the wrong job title for me, and the resume template looks AI-generated with a simple format, almost like an email. They take some words from my original resume, place them in the wrong sections, and use incorrect subtitles. They clearly have no experience in professional resume writing. I have a only one channel to communicate with them trhough live chat or customer service , they zero knowledge on my feedback

Discriminatory Practices and Lack of Due Diligence with Ladders Review I had a disappointing experience with Ladders Review and their representative, Christine Praxidio. After our company paid upfront for their services, I was informed that my business didn’t meet their criteria but without any clear explanation of why. Despite following their instructions and submitting the necessary information, it felt like my business was rejected based on assumptions rather than a proper evaluation. The lack of due diligence and transparency was frustrating. They took my money first, then made vague judgments about my business without offering any specifics or clear rationale. This feels both unprofessional and unfair, especially for small businesses looking for genuine support. I strongly recommend that other small business owners proceed with caution when considering Ladders Review. Make sure you fully understand their process before paying, as their evaluation seems arbitrary and lacks clear standards.

Extremely disappointing experience! Despite purchasing their top-tier package, this company refused to grant us access to CVs. Their justification? They claimed they don't work with "young" companies. This assumption was completely inaccurate, as my company has been well-established for many years. It’s clear they don’t conduct proper research before making such decisions. We chose to work with them based on a recommendation, but this has been a regrettable decision. They not only failed to deliver on their promises but also demonstrated discriminatory and biased behavior. Be cautious before engaging with this company—they’ll take your money and then reject you based on unfounded assumptions. I wouldn’t recommend associating your brand with an organization like this.

For anyone who is unaware Apply4Me applications are submitted using an email address created by Ladders which claims any responses from potential employers will be forwarded to the subscriber. There is no way for the subscriber to check this email box directly. I recently became aware that Ladders maintains an internal 'suppression list' which subscribers are added to if they unsubscribe from Ladders marketing emails and for other reasons which customer service would not disclose to me. Subscribers are not, at any point, informed that they have been added to or are on this list. If you are on the suppression list, Ladders will continue to charge you for a subscription and submit applications for you but will NOT forward responses to you or, in any way, inform you that your application has received a response leaving the subscriber in the dark and the employer believing that you have ignored their attempts to contact you/schedule an interview/etc. I was able to confirm that multiple companies rejected my applications on account of my failure to respond to interview requests Ladders never forwarded to me. After many, lengthy conversations with Ladders (including some with members of senior management) it is clear that they are aware of the problems this is causing but do not plan to notify their customers of the existence of the suppression list or provide customers with a way to check if they are on it or remove themselves from it other than contacting customer service. Additionally, even if someone does get customer service to remove them from the list they can be readded, again without notice or explanation. In light of this I would strongly caution against using Ladders, and especially the Apply4Me feature as it may be actively making it more difficult for you to find a job and they seem uninterested in fixing this critical issue.

I applied for many opportunities through this site, and when I returned to see my activity for the last year, the “Applied Jobs” section had been wiped clean. All my history was gone. I tried to contact support multiple times, but only reached them once and they said, “ Unfortunately, I am unable to find any records here” This is terrible because I’m in a divorce and I’m sure the judge will want to see I have been actively looking. But because of their failure I can’t show this activity.

I decided to give it a shot with the Apply4Me boasting results. In actuality, it's simply someone else sloppily applying for you through a sketchy burner email address. 12+ applications were full of errors, with important positions, skills, and accomplishments left off. I saved time, but now am worried the product is making me look bad at these companies because of these poor applications. Also, all the promises of tailored job suggestions and connecting with recruiters simply don't seem to be true. All I've gotten with the Premium plan is the same jobs everyone else sees that are easily findable online and some sloppy applications.

I wanted to start by paying for The Ladders to redo my resume and cover letter. I got back a mess of a resume, with items from each job scattered throughout and not lining up with the relevant position. The cover letter was better, but not by much, and was still fairly incomprehensible. I have written to them multiple times to ask about it, but there has been no response thus far.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with The Ladders’ Apply4Me feature. When I was laid off, I relied on The Ladders to provide effective tools to streamline my job search. Unfortunately, the Apply4Me feature has proven to be anything but helpful; it has been a complete disaster. Several applications were submitted incomplete, riddled with incorrect information, and accompanied by an automated message that did not reflect my professionalism. This experience has been mortifying. I value accuracy and professionalism in every aspect of my work, and to have these standards completely undermined by a paid service is unacceptable. At a time when job seekers are relying on technology to navigate the complex application process and overcome automated screening systems, it is absolutely essential that these tools enhance our chances, not sabotage them. Not only has this so-called service not helped me find a job, but I have also been rejected from every single application it submitted on my behalf. Not a single email, phone call, or interview has resulted from using Apply4Me. I am furious and heartbroken over the missed opportunities caused by this gross oversight. The Apply4Me feature has potentially cost me several job opportunities due to its inaccuracies and incomplete submissions. I trusted The Ladders to assist me during a critical period in my career, and instead, their service has actively hindered my job search. It is unbelievable that they would let a product like this make it to market, not caring how poorly it would represent people during such a vulnerable time. Shameful.

If an employer is not allowed to ask my age or date of birth, I find it highly disturbing that Ladders does when you enroll. Not acceptable or ethical.

The resume review in the software filter was beneficial however the job search was terrible. A search with variations in titles was yielded virtually no results even similar to what I put i.e I search "investigator" and I get results for academic researcher. It would appear there are no jobs for what I'm looking for but when I do the same search in Google or LinkedIn, I find hundreds. The quick apply element they heavily advertise isn't worth it when less than 1% of the posted jobs show up in their search.

Their support staff sucks. They removed money form my account but never gave premium after being online with them for an hour.

I'll update the review upon completion of my service. For now, not satisfactory. Promised time of 24-72 hours for the execution of services is not fulfilled till date. I'll update my review later if the grievances are addressed.
