“Questions answered promptly. Did not get hoped for answer but was told it was either the design or a fault. Part refund offered as I was happy to keep the Chromebook. Refund very quick. Communications prompt and courteous.”

“I cannot fault Laptops Direct in the way it performed with my order. I placed it on a Tuesday with requested delivery on Thursday, two days later. The order would actually have been delivered on Wednesday had I not been out that day. It was delivered on the Thursday. The product itself was as ordered and in excellent condition. This is excellent customer service.”

“I ordered a CCTV HDD and it was faulty. Emailed customer services for a replacement nice and prompt replies. At first they said they haven’t got any of the HDD in stock and a customer service advisor will ring me which they didn’t. I went back online to their website and found the same HDD in stock so I took a screenshot of it and emailed them back (may be a genuine mistake). The next day my order was out for delivery and this time the HDD was working perfectly.”

“Website ordering was easy and straightforward with a good price. However, I paid £9.95 for a specific delivery date (Monday) and had it confirmed by Laptops Direct, but it did not arrive until Tuesday. I don't know whether this is a problem with DPD? Ordering on a Saturday showed a specific delivery date of Monday - but it didn't work.”

“They had the phone I wanted in stock and at a competitive price. Ordering on the website was quick ad easy and the phone was delivered on time. I have not any reason to contact the company so cannot comment on their customer service. I have previously bought from this company and had no problems on that occasion either.”

“Paid extra specifically for delivery on 30/05/23, as I was on holiday the days before. I opened my emails to discover the carrier had attempted to deliver twice whilst I was away. I then had to waste time chasing to rearrange for the day I had requested initially. What is the point in having a specific date delivery service if you are just going to send it any day? Not to mention this is a service you pay extra for. I'll take my custom elsewhere next time.”

“First time buyer so was a little skeptical to begin with, first monitor had a fault with the screen too. This was all quickly seen to and a replacement was sent, along with an added extra as cables for all ports was provided at no extra cost. It was a nice little bonus.”

“Used these guys for the first time as I had a problem making an order on a competitor's site – who I usually use for these kinds of items. I had a good experience. The checkout allowed me to choose a delivery date and I had asked for the delivery to be in two days time, but it arrived next day (first world problems!). I was able to take the delivery, so all good. I don't think this warrants losing a star, but perhaps half a star. My experience was very good overall. Will use again.”

“I was really pleased with my phone. It's the third time I've used Laptops Direct and they are really good. The only minor criticism I had is that the phone wasn't in the original box which wasn't mentioned. But it was well packaged and came with a sim card remover which was great.”

“Three months ago, a couple of days after recieving my laptop, I gave a 5-star review based on the ease of purchase and prompt delivery. Sadly, the laptop rapidly deteriorated in performance. It is now slow, buggy and, frankly, not much use. Also, because of the way it was set up, I'm stuck with the username "User". I won't buy from Laptops Direct again. I'll be replacing the one I bought withn a new one. I should have saved my money and done that in tghe first place.”
