I ordered a light fitting on the 21st December 2014 and although they took my payment I heard nothing more.I allowed for Christmas holidays then emailed them on the 5th January 2015. I received a prompt reply saying they had contacted the supplier and they should be receiving it the next day. Another week passed and I had not received the light or heard from leader stores. I emailed them again only to be told it is out of stock until February! Consequently I have asked for a refund. The price of the light fitting was the lowest I could find for that particular light, but the lack of communication was extremely poor.

Thank you for your feedback Dawn. Unfortunately we are only able to pass on the information we are given by the supplier. It appears the dates promised to us from the supplier have not been fulfilled on this occasion. We are constantly trying to improve the accuracy of of the lead times of our products, so we do appreciate your feedback. Can I also take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our first order was next day delivery very efficient . we were delighted. our next order was not in stock prior to Christmas and we are still waiting. Then we had a message that some of the flooring was damaged so we will have to wait again . Not so good

Good and bad so rated mid-point The bad was that the item I ordered was misrepresented by suggesting that it was a pair when it was a single item supplied in 2 boxes. Even though I had mailed them to verify this before ordering and they had confirmed I would receive qty 2, when I called them there was no recognition of the distance selling regulation and they demanded I pay for the return in order to be refunded, so my advice is to be sure about what you will receive before ordering and be sure of your rights. The good part was that after arguing that the item was misrepresented they did accepted this and agreed to supply a second item FOC.

Excellent service, great price and very quick delivery which was also free unlike all the other companies supplying thie flooring we wanted. There were one or 2 minor faults with the product but nothing that couldnt be worked around. ordered just before Christmas but still came within a 2 day turn around. Thank you will use you again.

Disappointed not informed sooner that not all of my order was in stock. Despite being advertised as next day delivery. Resulting in a delay in getting flooring installed. However I am very pleased with the quality of the goods. Because of discrepancies on the website I have ended up missing out on one of the 12 DAYS OF CLICK-MAS offers of a further 15% off my order. Given that this would have amounted to approximately £90 I feel sure you can understand my disappointment and frustration. The problem arose because the 2 items I wanted to buy 6 of 1 and 1 of the other were advertised on the website at a discounted price. However when you clicked on the link to take you to the product the price came up at the normal price you sell it at. As I was coming through a cashback site I did not want to lose this additional benefit. I have only now had the time to be able to contact you. I was told that this was an error on the websites part and that they should have been removed last week and changed back to the original figures. If you advertise an item at a certain price you are duty bound by law to sell at it that price. It is no use claiming it was a mistake, I can accept that it is in order to correct the mistake , but only after you have met your requirements under the law. If you are gong to change your offers then you need to make sure that all prices are changed at the same time. One further point, with regard to the 12 DAYS OF CLICK-MASS offer you need to clarify within the headline banner about it that it only applies to that days offer. By failing to quantify it as such you are saying that all the CLICK-MASS offers are valid for however much longer it is valid for, at this juncture that is 7hours 44 minutes. Hope this helps.

Package arrived very quickly and was well wrapped, however when opening up the package there was damage in 2 places on the long edges, luckily I was able to cut around the damage because the shelf lengths enabled me to.

Hard to think of any positive comments. I ordered some lamp shades on 15th Dec in time for christmas and was told that they were on 5-7 days lead time and here we are nearly a month later with still no news as to when we'll get them. On line tracking system is a joke - doesn't tell me anything so I have to ring up or chat on line to get an update. All I get is apologies and empty promises. I know it's not entirely Leader's fault as they are dependent on the supplier but this is very bad customer experience thus far and I doubt I'll be shopping with Leader again

Well, where to start. Firstly I had a live chat with David at Leaderstores who assured me the table and chairs I wanted would be delivered on or before Tuesday 23rd December. Hence I placed my order. The next day I received phone call to say they were not even in stock till March 2015! I was then told I would have to send an email to their cancellation dept to obtain a refund,which I did. Should this money have been taken from my account because they did not even have the stock to sell me. Never the less I done as requested. The initial payment was took out of my bank account on the 16th December, I did not receive my refund till 31st December and this was after several irate phone calls, each time assuring me the refund had being processed , when in fact it had not. What more can I say but very poor communication and after sales service. Would not recommend .

Thank you for your feedback Tony. Can I firstly apologise for the inconvenience caused by this. We would have only been made aware of the stocking issue once we have attempted to place the order with the supplier. We would have then contacted you at the earliest opportunity to update you on this. As we sell thousands of products from over a hundred different manufacturers - it is difficult to keep the stock status on every product as up to date as we would like. Order fulfilled as promised. Only one slight and mysterious issue. When checking up the order, was told that a message had been left ... But the message never arrived ( despite checking that phone number provided was correct) Otherwise all fine. Thanks
