“I ordered two lampshades and one arrived blemished. Leaderstores were very prompt and helpful in sending a replacement which arrived in perfect condition. It is also worth nothing that the despatch company they use is one of the most efficient that I have encountered.”

“I ordered two Tiffany pendant lights on the 23rd March 2015 (almost a month ago now), Order Ref No. 9067 , and have had to phone twice since to find out where my order has got to ? as on site it says dispatched in 5 - 7 days ,which is misleading as have now been told it takes 5 - 7 days to get the order to Leader before the dispatch to customer, your site said both items were in stock which is why I ordered, as found the lights on another site at £20 cheaper but one of them was out of stock, which is why I payed more at Leader thinking I would get my order sooner. On my most recent phone call the beginning of this week on the 13th May, I was told there had been a problem with my order, but that I would definately get a call back on the Thursday or Friday, and they would arrange an express delivery for the next Monday or Tuesday. But so far still no call back or lights , I AM NOT HAPPY with service ! Though will say when phoned I always got through quick and your sales people are very polite and helpful, but obviously there is something going wrong communication wise.”

“We placed the order and after nearly a week of hearing nothing, emailed to ask when it would be despatched and when we might expect to receive it. We received a prompt and helpful reply the next day explaining the item was out of stock and was due in sometime the following week. No mention of being out of stock on their website at the time of ordering, and they took our money immediately. We subsequently received an email saying it would be delivered the next working day. It was not a normal level of service as we had no choice about the date, no information about how to arrange delivery if we were out, and not even a vague idea of the time it would arrive. Between 9 and 6 but could be outside those hours. The product was as we ordered and the delivery personnel friendly. But overall, payment taken the same day as placing the order, but it took them three weeks to deliver the goods (partly due to Easter bank holidays but still..).”

“courier service is poor. They can't even organise a quick phone call or text to tell you that the courier is on his way, which means you're supposed to stay in all day waiting for a delivery; which is in this day and age is outdated. The courier also wanted to leave the item outside with the neighbour. Which would have been bad if it had rained ! Luckily the neighbour insisted that it came indoors.”

“I ordered a chest of drawers to come assembled to start it was late coming as it was out of stock but the firm didn't think to let me know I contacted leader store and they did everything to find out what was happening and it eventually arrive at 7 am we thought great but it was flat packed they dropped it in the hall was told it should have been assembled not my paper was the reply I had to pay someone to assemble as we are in our 70s phone leader they are dealing with Julian bowen there service has been good”

“I ordered an in stock item on 16 march and payment was made. I chased this order up over two weeks later as I had not heard or received anything and was told it was out of stock. I am still awaiting the item that I'm told is now in stock again. Communication communication communication”

“Took an age to come. Chased via email which wasn't replied to. Chased by phone and the guy was helpful and rang back quite quickly. Packaging not brilliant and one lamp shade had been knocked about a bit, but used it anyway. Would use again because I liked the lampshades and the price was right.”
