“I bought a Lenovo on line in England. I was charged on the day it was shipped. I was expecting it to come from Dublin to Birmingham. It went to Holland and Germany before arriving in England. UPS then failed to deliver on the day promised, apparently because they didn't have the delivery address. I found this out on the tracking website, no notification even though they had both my mobile number and email address. I contacted UPS, gave them my address and was promised that I would be called and given a delivery time. Nothing. I contacted Lenovo and was basically told not to rely on the UPS tracking website and to give them a week to see what happened. UPS did deliver the parcel on the second day shown on their tracker, but I was not given a time frame as promised. Shambles.”
“The worst company I have ever purchased from. First, Lenovo delayed the laptop by 3 weeks. Then they lost the laptop. Then I requested for a refund. Lenovo who happily take your money the second you buy a product from them, are unable to process a refund directly and send you to Digital River, who must ask Lenovo permission if it's okay to give the customer a refund. What is worse is that Digital River's form of communication with Lenovo is through tickets which apparently take "2 working days to receive a response". A week later and I am still waiting for Lenovo to respond to Digital River so they can respond to me. And all I want is a simple refund for an item that I never received. Appalling system and disgraceful customer service. Never buying a product with Lenovo's name ever again! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM LENOVO IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!”
“Should be a Zero. SCAM. Order received by you, but has been “in transit” over a month..
Customer service says be patient with each “cookie cutter” email.
Asked for refund and have not heard from company. SCAM is all I can say.”
“Bought a Lenovo Active Pen 2 for Yoga 11/30 as a Christmas present for my grandson. Lenovo created a shipping label/charged me on 12/3, with an arrival ETA of 12/10. By 12/14, tracking showed the package had still not arrived at UPS. Four days and countless customer service interactions later and Lenovo still won't tell me what happened, where my package is or when/if it will ship. They won't let me cancel it or change the shipping destination (direct to my grandson) because they say it's "shipped." Coincidentally, this product sells via Amazon - but that says shows the product will not be available until 12/29! No such notice on Lenovo.com or any acknowledgment of a possible back-order by Lenovo customer service. I feel that's deceptive and I no longer trust Lenovo.”
“Lenovo kept my laptop for almost three weeks - it was sent in for repair via Argos (whom I purchased the laptop from). Only for me to be told after these three weeks that the issue I had was not covered by warranty. And even then I was only told this after I repeatedly chased them. They state in their policy they will make repairs within 7-10 days. They had my laptop for nearly three weeks AND there was no repair.
The issue was that the charging pin snapped off in the charging port and was stuck there. Lenovo stated this was due to "customer damage" which is not the case at all! I took great care of the laptop. The issue is down to a poorly manufactured charging cable. My laptop was less than a year old.
I will never buy from this company again and will be sure to warn others about them too! Tantamount to fraud!”
“The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I returned product in August 2020. It is now Nov 30th and still no credit has been received.
I keep getting transferred between departments. Today I was transferred from customer service to credit department which was supposed to be open till 9pm EST, but no reply at 5:45 pm. Looks like everyone went home.

DO NOY BUY...
Absolutely annoying.”
“Just phoned there so called work shop team absolutely shocking tried 5 times spoke to 3 advisers who hang up on you or cant help with anything I think some head boss should be looking into whoever is at the other end of there phone lines at there workshop as does not look good for company if workers can do that to customers who are only trying to buy spare parts for there machines that you buy.”
“I bought a laptop from Lenovo online. I thought I was also buying microsoft 2019 but they trickd me and gave me a subscription that I hve to download and i stall. they promised to install the real version. The computer came with no instructions, doesn't work and it is impossible to contact lenovo. They are terrible.”
“I've had to send my laptop in three separate times because each time the repair team either completely ignores the problem or makes it worse. I had a flashing screen and they send me a new screen of much lower quality than what I initially paid for. Then I sent it back to get it replaced with the same quality monitor I paid for, but instead my repair number got mixed up with another customer's and they sent it back not having fixed anything. Now I've got to send it back a third time. Unimaginable incompetence on all levels.”
“If I could give 0 stars, I would!
I strongly urge you to consider purchasing a computer elsewhere. If you want a lenovo computer, DO NOT go through the UK lenovo team. They are pathetic at best. I purchased a Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 7 computer - received it and it was faulty. I sent it back and asked for a replacement and the 2nd computer was faulty again. They told me at this point, my only option was to get a refund and issue another order (I did not). After more than a week of having sent back my second computer, they emailed me asking what my return reference number was and asked if it was picked up from my home address - THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW THEMSELVES WHATS GOING ON. I have yet to wait for my refund which they said would take 3-5 working days. I expect this will be another week since they didn't even know the item was returned a week ago.
I initially bought my computer in mid-April and well it's almost mid-June. During this entire process, I called over ten times - every time they tell you someone will call and get back to you, they DO NOT. They also are not helpful as everything needs to be reviewed by a higher team, which does not take up to two days like say, and seem to not exist since there's no one to speak to. One of the issues I had which was reviewed by this 'higher team' came back two weeks later after consistent calling from my end to just get an update.
Such a shame as I think the computer is meant to be really great but if you're paying over £1400 for a laptop, it should be worth it. ALSO, if you decide to move forward, good luck with getting help if something breaks down with your laptop PAST the initial 14 days - they really try not to put you first as a customer. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST!”

“I bought a Lenovo yogi i7 three weeks ago, in April, 2020. I bought their premium 4 year extended warranty and tech support. Those of you who are thinking about getting their extended coverage, PLEASE DON'T! YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY. I called three times. Each time, I got rude, INCOMPETENT morons to "advice" me. These are bunch of incompetent nitwits. Don't bother. BUY A MAC.”
“I bought the laptop mid November 19, since then it has spent more time with their repair department than it has with me, three times it has been repaired, all for the same issue, on start up it comes up with "preparing automatic repair", it then does nothing, they have replaced most of the insides, motherboard, SSD and other items each at least twice, it came back before Easter, started up again guess what same again.
I demanded a refund, and was told that they could not do that. I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager and was told that that was not possible as he was going home soon and then cut off.
The laptop was bought off the Lenovo website, but the laptop was delivered via a company called Digital River Ireland Ltd. They are a nightmare to contact, they do not have an address you can get hold of them on, but a C/O address based in Accrington but with a London telephone number. Twice I have tried to call it, half and hour wait each time only to be cut off each time when I told them what I wanted.
I would have thought a company like Lenovo would have a proper customer services team in place, not a third party organisation that acts like a back street cut and shunt outfit.
I cannot advise anyone to buy direct from Lenovo not due to the products, but the after service which is the worst I have ever come across, down to the credit card company now.”
“The customer service from Lenovo and Digital River has been absolutely abysmal from the moment I placed my 2 orders in the last 2-3 weeks.
The customer service staff do not seem to have any information available to them about orders (everything results in a ticket being raised and no-one getting back to me), and there is a shocking disconnect between the customer service team and the warehouse. I have never experienced anything like this, and do not intend to purchase from Lenovo again.”
“23 March
Definitely not professionals and not even close
I never went through a frustrating experience as i did with lenovo Uk & Ireland
Don't expect your item to arrive the first month but expect loads of broken promise emails and wrong person delivery mistakes .. each time you order an item you get a different issue surprise
And guess what .. i still didn't receive my monitor. A lot of work loss”
“WARNING: Do not buy a Lenovo product unless you are OK with the following. After you have used your computer for a few weeks, Lenovo will take over your computer and install Bing as your browser, overriding whatever you were using including all your bookmarks. In my case, it made it impossible to access my Google Chrome. When I called Lenovo to complain, I was told that they would fix it if I purchased a software service contract for $199 for a year or $90 for a month. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I would receive a call. Not surprisingly, that never happened. Fortunately, enough people have dealt with this problem that there are multiple entries on the Internet instructing how to fix it yourself. If you want to deal with such a sleazy, unethical company, be prepared. I think that you would be better advised to purchase a computer from a more reputable company.”
