If I could give no stars I would!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! They did exactly the same thing as the comment below. As well as that, they took our deposit and refused to give it back- when they breached data confidentiality laws in more than one occasion (I have personal details for people I've never met and vice Versa) on more than one occasion, we waited 2 months and still had no move in date. After wanting to speak to the manager- Matthew westlake- triton- clearly no customer service or communication skills. Just cut us off so we couldn't explain the whole situation. Got passed from agent to agent as they left the company. We pulled out in the end and six months later, I now have energy companies, council etc demanding money for a house I never moved in to! Threatening to take me to court as I didn't respond to any of the letters- probably because I never lived there!!! Weeks after we pulled out, they told suppliers we had moved in! Have called the managing director several times and also no reply. We have sought legal action as no one is willing to help. (Just keep getting told they'll call but never do). Honestly- we've lost hundreds of pounds and as of September this has been on going for over a year. Never even got to move in- the amount of stress it's caused is beyond me!!

Highly unprofessional. We placed a deposit on a property we were interested in to take it off the market (what a deposit is intended for) and after viewing wanted to go ahead with it. They continued to show people the property even after they confirmed the landlord accepted our offer and once they got a better offer than us (it wasn't: they advertised a free month's rent which the next person didn't notice or ask for) they ignored the fact that we were first to it and tried to find us an alternative, which was significantly higher in rent.

This is 4th week running sinse fence falls down by wind inform them I have young children in the house they get scared by no fence in the garden sims they don't care. Even though land lord has given them permission to do the job I told them my reason for urgency but they looks like they waiting for there commission sorting out before coming out.. I am really tired keep calling them...

Worst Experience ever. I booked a viewing at 5.30 pm for 897 Solboulevard, Milton Keynes. No one turned up and wasted my 30 minutes in the bas weather outside the building.

The lady I spoke to was very nice but unfortunately did not ask appropriate questions before going ahead to book a viewing. Was told I could veiw a property then when ask about income I explained I was training to be a teacher so was on a very low income and was getting housing benefit to top it up. Was then told I couldn't veiw as it was company policy they don't accept housing benefit tenants. This is discrimination. I work full time I have never missed rent and I am currently for the last 2years been with indigo lettings with no problems at all. My current rent is £995 which is paid to the agent every month. I really feel it would be better to lead with questions such as income before giving appointments for viewings. Or maybe just advertise as you do not accept dss. Also when I asked the adviser why this was the policy she said she didn't know so maybe some extra staff training wouldn't go amiss. There are people ending up homeless because of such discriminate policies where they are losing homes, jobs and children because they are not allowed to have the same rights as anyone else. I, like many others who receive help from housing benefit actually manage to spend my hard earned money on what it's supposed to be spent on and know how to keep an immaculate home. I myself am only trying to better my situation and find more affordable accommodation to protect and provide for my children. I hope this helps to understand why you shouldn't dismiss someone because of circumstances. Kind regards Krisanne Hyde

If you are looking for property to rent, avoid Lenwell Hitchin. The customer service is non existent and they do actually ignore tenants. One has to wonder if they actually read their own tenant agreement.

Service for landlords is absolutely appaling from the MK office. My property was originally being looked after by another company who sold up to Lenwell and I was assured I would have the same level of service. Since they took over the number of issues has risen dramatically and had three call outs for boiler issue (on a two year old boiler) in the space of four months and two call outs to fix the a leak under the sink in two months. Have been waiting for two months for an update on why so many call outs to fix the same issue with no replies to emails, chats, phone calls. All I hear back is we are waiting for an update from our contractor. Would not recommend this company to anyone who needs a property looking after.

Very unprofessional I asked about studio apartment to rent trough Facebook, got a call back, set up the viewing for the same day, they were supposed to send me the location, called them again 2h later, didn’t get the location. You don’t just ghost people, if you don’t want to rent it to me just say NO we can’t.

Lenwell have still not returned my deposit, two months after I vacated the property at the end of the lease. A truly unprofessional company from what I have experienced so far! I will go out of my way to avoid using Lenwell again in the future!
