I have been a long-term customer of Leon's, and on September 14, 2024, I went to buy a washing machine. As soon as I entered, a salesperson named Abi approached me. He noticed I was looking at washing machines and convinced me that the last floor model on display was the best choice. He assured me it would work perfectly, and if I wasn’t satisfied, I could return it within 48 hours. I hadn’t intended to buy a floor model, but he reassured me that I could return it if I wasn’t happy. It seemed too good to be true, so before I signed the receipt, I asked the cashier to confirm this. The cashier called Abi back, and he reiterated that I could return the washing machine within 48 hours. He also mentioned he would ask the manager for a $100 discount and said that if they delivered it, he would provide a $75 discount. However, I later found out that Leon's delivers items free of charge. Two days after delivery, the team did not connect the washing machine and took our old one without us asking. The next day, the new machine was making a lot of noise, stopped for an hour, and then started beeping. I called customer service and spoke to a rude woman named Sundari. She said that was not their return policy and suggested I call the manufacturer instead. I explained that Abi had told me I could return it within 48 hours, but she insisted that couldn’t be the case. She said she would talk to Abi and call me back the next day. So far, I haven’t heard anything from Sundari or Leon's. Now I’m stuck with a floor model, and I will never return to Leon's.

Everything is great when they sell you something, but if you have any issues, good luck talking to their customer service and getting an effective resolution in a timely manner. I suspect their warranty program is treated in a similar way. It seems they normally don't ship on time and will make you run around, waste your time. The way they handle buying customer concerns after purchase is truly atrocious.

Very bad service. I bought a dishwasher in Leon and paid for installation. I received confirmation for installation, but no one came, no one called and gave no information. I tried to call customer support and lost 2 hours for nothing. No one knows anything and no one is responsible for anything. Everyone is playing ping-pong. The issue is still not resolved, a working day is lost.

We got a cab to your store. The cab driver has had a bit of a problem with something he bought. So as he was there he went in. We went in to buy some furniture. One person asked if we needed help.we said we were just looking. I saw our cab driver how it went. He told us then a sales person after he left us told him not to speek to customers. I saw it go down. I saw the person who had talked to our cab driver. I went over and told him he was our cab driver and the sales person had been rude. He was a bit defensive . I walked out with my husband and we kept the 5,000 we were looking to spend and went else where. What i get out of this is make the sale.but if there is a problem with the item. Then your on your own.

On Friday, September 6, 2024, I purchased a 30" LG refrigerator. Arrangements were made for its delivery on Sunday, September 8, 2024, between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. I received a call and an email on Saturday, September 7, 2024 informing me of the scheduled delivery time. On Sunday, prior to 9:00 a.m., I was contacted again to confirm that the delivery team was en route and would arrive at my residence in approximately 30 minutes. SC DELIVERY MGR delivery personnel arrived at my home before 9:30 a.m. They displayed a significant level of professionalism, consistently prioritizing cleanliness, respectfulness, and careful handling of the product during the process. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone involved, from the sales representative Nadeem to the scheduler and the SC DELIVERY MGR team. Each individual played a significant role in ensuring that this experience was both pleasant and stress-free. This has been a highly positive experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Leon's, located at 20 McLevin Ave, Scarborough, Ontario. Kudos to all!!!

Very disappointed, bought all my furniture and appliances from there spent a lot of money. Bought the extended warranty well that’s a joke , waited for the technician in the 4 hour window , he texted me 3 hours in he want coming and for me to take a picture and send it to him. Thanks for wasting my time , let’s see if they will pay me for my lost hours? Oh I guess my time is worth nothing. They Leon’s should honour the warranty because they are a extension of their company. I don’t know who to call may have to get my lawyer involved. Let’s just say this is my last purchase from Leon’s. Real sad , I urge people not to buy there!!!! Nothing but problems

I had a bad experience with Leon. Leon has a bad quality, even when i ask to change never allow me. I bought a table and after 2-3 months the wood broke from the bottom of a table then I went to show them in the front desk they ask me to send the pictures by email, I did. Then they sent a technician to check and for sure for sure he said it is not a manufacturer defect. How come it is not a manufacturer if its good matrial, it should stay for a long time. Also how it is my bad use, am I playing with the table, i just put it in the middle which is normal place. I am still looking for a new stuff like dinning table but never go back for this place. My advice no one get any stuff from Leon, you can go buy your stuff from other places for a long term with the same price instead of them.

I dealt with Dennis when making my purchases. He was very helpful, knowledgeable. I purchased 7 appliances and am very happy with them. I would refer friends to Leons and Dennis. Was very impressed with the extended warranty and the fact if i have a problem i deal with the Leons repair Company not another company. Very happy with the two men that delivered our appliances. Very professional.

Leon's will not refund us for a defective metal bed frame - two metal holes fractured and the bed collapsed. We tried to return it 8 weeks after purchase; they say that's too late and gave other excuses as well. I tried to explain why it was 8 weeks; there is serious illness in the family. However, I believe that when a product is defective, a reputable store should refund. We did not just change our minds. The frame is junk and they should stand behind their products. The warehouse manager said he would call back, but of course, has not. No help on their website 'Customer Care' page either. They simply ignore customers, hoping you'll give up.

Bad bad people and company don’t buy anything from these people they won’t tell they don’t take anything back no sign anywhere they don’t take stuff you find out when you call to return items not working we bought washer couple days ago it’s not cleaning clothes that good

Purchased stove not even 6 months ago, within 4 months it almost caught on fire the customer service horrific, never responds postpones to avoid fixing it, then instead of replaying the default stove they Wana order parts, and seniors here been having food cooked for them last 2 months. We were in firefighter service and this is fire hazard and should have been replaced and customer service was horrible. My granddaughter also went thru 3 dishwashers in 4 years being garbage, and the 3rd one went and she had 5 times a worker come to fix it until finely they gave her new dishwasher and honestly they spent more money paying worker than buying the dishwasher. My review honest review do not shop here costco is where we will go for now on. Never ever issue there and always great service

Purchased a dishwasher and refrigerator 5 years ago with extended warranty. Had a service call on the dishwasher, great service with that. Once the extended warranty was ready to expire on the fridge, I called to ask about the pay back since we didn't have a claim. I was told that yes, my purchase price of the warranty was on file to use on a future purchase. I stopped in to Leon's in Saint John this morning. I just thought I should check at the customer service desk. Again, the lady said that I do have a credit from the pay back. For whatever reason, I asked if I had to spend a minimum amount to get the credit applied to a purchase. Well, yes, I had to spend a minimum of $400.00 and this has an expiry date. A short window. When I purchased the extended warranty, I was told if I didn't use it, I would get my money back. It was never explained that I have to spend money to get my refund. I guess the adage of buyer beware applies to this situation. The policy should have been explained in full at the time of purchase. I miss Sears, they didn't hold my pay back hostage, I was given a credit to spend as I wished. Leon's will not have my business in the future. I'm very unhappy about this.

worst policy i have ever seen never buy furniture or sofas or anything from leons we just bought sofa they delivered and we called after 1 min that the sofa doesn’t fit the recliner is touching each other we can not open 2 recliner at the same time and covered half space of the room we asked for to return just 1 piece and they replied you should pay extra 50 % amount of that piece so the price of that piece is for ex. $575 so we have to pay $287 more and we can return and we will not get any money back so we are paying $575+ return amount $287 and they can come and pick up will not get any money back. i hate this policy if the thing doesnt fit and for the purpose we paid high amounts for recliner is west of money we can not open 2 recliner at the same time and we want to return right after 1 min they deliver I have attached picture you can see, it is not possible in leons never buy anything feom there worst policy.

Had sofa & loveseat delivered and the delivery people just dropper it off & left without unpacking or installing the legs which I did & was a pain to do as needed equipment. When I complained, Leons person told me the delivery people wer supposed to unwrap, remove the wrappings & install the legs and it was not the first time these deliver people had done this and they would be talked to. The least they should have done was offer me a credit for future purchases for the trouble of doing the installation for them.

We pay $189.0 for platinum care, and guess what?? It covers only accidental damage ONLY!!! Not the damages because the quality is so poor that within 2 yrs the seams are coming off or it’s getting tear from the stiches. Will I recommend it to anyone else? What do you think?

Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Buyers beware. Do not buy from Leon’s Kingston. They do not honour anything they sell. Washer and dryer delivered but did not work. Customer service said “you shouldn’t have bought the cheap brand”. When buying I asked how LG was comparable to other brands. They said “great” and then later told me, “you shouldn’t have bought this cheap brand”. If you want reliable customer service but from The Brick!!!

I had best service from Alex Lypovenko I came looking for a dinning suite and he approached me. He answered all my questions and did not pressure me to buy. I came back with my daughter a couple days later and Alex remembered me He assisted my daughter and I and we purchased the suite. I would deal,with Alex again a very nice and professional man
