Leon's store in Brampton. Wanted to give less than 1 star, however Google has no option for that. I went in to buy a refrigerator on a day before Black Friday. Entire experience was a horrible and a pathetic customer service. Issues with Leon's sale:- 1) They made me sign a delivery declaration stating that I am releasing them and their delivery guys of all liabilities in case something goes wrong or damages happen while delivery and the document is vague which can be detrimental to customer's interest. Please see the attached picture of that document. 2) I paid extra for hauling away old fridge. They did't mention anything about dismantling the old item. Old people, people with no handyman experience should avoid going to this store unless you are ok to hire some appliance technician to dismantle old item before they can haul away. Their website also does not mention about the dismantling part. Their delivery guy came in measured the door, the fridge and advised cannot haul away old fridge as doors are not removed. They took the new one back to store. As a result, I had to go back to the store to get a refund. Result, I wasted 2 hours the day of purchase and had to wait for the delivery guy and go back to the store for refund. 3) No one is ready to take responsibility of the loss to the client. I spoke to their delivery manager "ABHI" who simply said you can get a refund and delivery guys cannot haul away as doors are not removed. When I asked why it was not mentioned to me by sales rep at the time of sale or on their website. They said it is there in their site and they expect customers to have some dismantling skills of items. Seriously, expecting clients to dismantle electrical appliances. Disappointing fact is that they did not mention this, due to which I had to waste few hours of my busy time. When I mentioned about posting my experience in social media to see how other customers react, ABHI "POLITELY" asked me to leave comments on Google reviews which I am doing now. Wish he recommended few more sites to express my feelings. Though this part is sarcasm, but he did asked me to put a review, showing their careless attitude towards customers experience. They lack empathy and sympathy towards customers, as they think no matter what customers think, once they advertise with some discounts, customers would throng their shop and hence makes no difference to their business. Sad part, may be that's how it is, I guess. This saga of bad customer service will continue to flourish as long as this attitude continues..... On the whole experience was below average and bottom line not a good brand to shop. If this is the experience with a brand new sale can see how their after sale attitude would be after sale. Can't stress enough, please, old people, people lacking handyman experience stay away from these guys unless you are willing to spend some extra bucks on appliance guys to dismantle old items.

I purchased a TV from Leon’s as a retirement gift for my 70-year-old mother, trusting in their reputation and the quality of their products. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced. The TV failed just 16 months after purchase, leaving my mother—who is on a fixed income—with the burden of dealing with an expensive, short-lived purchase. When I initially contacted Leon’s customer support through their website, their response was cold and dismissive. They simply reminded me that the TV was out of the 12-month manufacturer warranty and stated there was “nothing they could do.” The email even ended with the shocking line: “Please consider this our last correspondence regarding this matter.” Still hoping for a resolution, my elderly mother went into the store to plead her case. For a senior living on a limited income, every dollar matters, and buying a TV is a significant investment. Despite her efforts, the store staff said they were unable to help. Leon’s did take the initiative to contact the manufacturer on my behalf, which I appreciated. However, after multiple follow-up calls, they informed me that the manufacturer was unable to assist. In that same conversation, Leon’s suggested I come in and shop their Black Friday sale—a suggestion that felt like a slap in the face. Essentially, their best offer was for me to spend more money in their store after selling me a product that barely lasted over a year. This entire experience has been deeply frustrating and disheartening. Leon’s failure to stand by the products they sell, combined with their inability to provide a meaningful resolution, shows a lack of care and accountability. For seniors or anyone on a fixed income, deciding where to spend your money is important—and Leon’s has proven they are not a store you can trust. To anyone considering shopping at Leon’s, think twice. If something goes wrong, you might find yourself out of options and left with nothing but disappointment. It’s not just about the TV—it’s about standing by your customers and doing what’s right. I cannot recommend this store to anyone. Bottom line: Leon’s cares about the sale, not the customer. Spend your money somewhere that values you, especially if you’re on a fixed income and need purchases to last.

Bought brand new washer and dryer. The washer makes your clothes dirtier after then they were before. Zero help from Leon’s just told me to call the manufacturer. I shouldn’t be dealing with them when it’s literally brand new and has never worked. Terrible store. Terrible customer service. Go anywhere else to buy things!!!!!!!

I recently purchased an electric range stove and dishwasher from Leon's furniture, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Customer Service Issues: The customer service team has been incredibly unhelpful. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues, I felt ignored and left without clear answers. False Promises: They promised me a $200 discount during the purchase, but after payment, they failed to honor it. When I contacted them, they gave me the runaround without providing a proper resolution. I would strongly caution others to reconsider before making a purchase

Order over 6K in furniture then waited 2 months with many excuses. When they brought the furniture, it wasn't all there. Four months later still waiting for the remainder of the order. Don't buy at Leons Winnipeg!!

Bought a couch and chair from Leon’s furniture. Cost over 5000 dollars also bought extended warranty through them. Constant problems with the cough. Head rest stopped working chair mechanism was beyond repair due to the cheap way it was made. We have been trying to have it repaired since April 2024 and the warranty department claims they are waiting for parts from Palliser. Contacted Palliser and they claim parts won’t be shipped until after December 20th 2024 and they are still not sure it will be shipped then. Extended warranty is a joke. Furniture was a complete waste of money and so was the extended warranty.

Bought 3 items which were delivered on time but delivery men said they are only delivering and nothing else. I notified the store who had the same delivery men return to completed what needed to be done. I specifically ordered Gray Head & Foot board only for a different color to arrive. Salesman claimed because I enquired about the color that arrived, he thought that's what I wanted..NO.. Now I am being told for me to get the Gray I will need to pay $100... I don't think I should be penalized because it's not my fault! I am Aldo being told the Gray is out of stock until late December or early January, which is unacceptable! Have been a customer of Leon's close to 30 years and this is the first have experienced an issue like this...Thanks

I bought a power reclining sofa and love seat. There were pieces missing on the love seat that allows it to recline properly and the delivery person said not to plug it in because when you recline it will be damaged. I reclined in the sofa only for it to stop working when it was fully extended. I called Leon’s to get a date for the repair and was met with rude and condescending remarks. A manager said the plugs was probably tied to tight and became disconnected he also said quote” you should know this already”. I got other remarks like “ is this the first recliner you ever bought”. I was also told by a sales lady who helped us with the purchase that we had 48 hours to call and return for any reason. It was a lie. Leon’s will never get my business again.

We bought a new King size bed and night stands December 2023. When it was delivered we inspected immediately and reported damage. Leon's asked us to send photos which we did and then they sent a person to either repair of take photos if repair wasn't possible. It was deemed unfixable and needing replacement and we never heard another word. We have followed up several times with Leon's and we never get an email back or a phone call. This was not the first disappointing experience with Leon's but it will be the last. I'd rather pay more and and least get something that doesn't come broken

Absolutely terrible customer service. Trying to get delivery out of town is terrible. At least 15 phone calls to try and get things in place. They seem to have no idea what’s their policies, etc. No “friendly” customer service at all.

We bought sofa and love seat in Sept 2020, Decor-rest brand. In Sept 2023 I was showing my daughter the benefits of flipping cushions and realized how much it faded. I had paid a lot for fabric protection guarantee. I contacted Leon’s Saint John who referred me to DecorRest.id had it past 2? Years, and fabric protection can cause that. I sent pictures, I was told it’s because of windows in the room. Then suddenly I could not email Decor rest any more. My fendi wood colour sofa is now 50% pink. I paid too much to have a sofa that faded like that. My 12 year old Decor rest that’s in the garage looks better.

Bought a washer, dryer and brutal tempurpedic mattress, not cheap. Not much information/knowledge on washer and dryer from salesperson. Really hate them both! Energy efficient…it takes much longer, especially if you have to wash your load twice. Hardly enough water. The dryer buzzer could wake the dead. (Yes, I know YouTube could tell me how to do it, but I’m not able to push around appliances and I’m not that mechanically inclined. Reviews on them aren’t great, but we’re trying to accept the blame for choosing something we didn’t know much about. Now the mattress has a 200 night return policy (it hasn’t been that yet) but they don’t tell you it’s not a refund til after you pay for it. Yes, you get in store credit, but it has to be for a mattress. If the mattress is less than you paid, they keep the difference. And as an added punishment, you have to pay for pick up/delivery. Once they’ve gotten their money, they honestly are done. I so regret giving them my business.

One star is still higher! Delivery guys are lazy and non-collaborative. Driver decided to cancel the delivery just because he saw a construction in the front entrance. He could not even attempted , there were several deliveries and move-in and move-outs going on despite of the construction. The building management allows delivery and accommodates such matter. We already paid for the elevator reservation for the day but the merchandise was not delivered. The customer service representative was unable to resolve the issue. Go somewhere else to buy your furniture.

Bought what was supposed to be a genuine leather sofa. Turned out while they only list "genuine leather" in the specs under material, they actually used leather match on the sides. The rupture happened a couple of months after the warranty ended, so Leon's aren't taking any responsibility.

GO ELSEWHERE... Leon's arrived and the guy walks right in the house on my ceramics with his dirty wet shoes.. That was the beginning of our nightmare..... The then proceed to dump all the dirty boxes in my bedroom 7 very large boxes as it was a Dresser with Mirror (2) Night stands and a Sleigh bed with drawer!!! While bringing the last box up no idea where they though it was a good idea to being a dirty wet strap and trolley with them, when I had informed them this was a brand new 4500 carpet that was in stall less then (2) weeks ago!!!!! The strap left stain marks on my carpet... I was so upset so what did they do but leave... Leon's states on there website we will deliver with ready to assemble... It took us 4 hours to remove all the boxes and packaging that they left behind my garage was full. We have over the last several days made 7 trips to the dump to get rid of the Styrofoam and boxes. Then the wood frame we have to keep in the garage for (2) weeks until the city can come and pick them up. I called Leon's Hamilton Store to complain this was absolutely ridicules that Leon's could damage my carpet leave a complete disaster in my house. I was told to send picture to which I did. I was told Dave from the Burlington Store is the manager and they would send him the Picture and he would call me the next day!!!! OF COUSE NO CALL NO APOLOGY NOTHING..... Go to Ashley Furniture they delivery people are amazing - Shop anywhere but leons!!!!!.

What a great experience. Charlie our sales person was amazing. Great information and no pressure. The delivery was awesome. Really nice guys and fantastic service. They were efficient and friendly and got the delivery completed quickly and carefully. Much appreciated the skill with which they brought in our furniture. Honestly can’t say enough good things about this company. Good customer service is hard to find these days but Leon’s sets a stellar example of the best. The staff member who contacted us by phone was lovely too.Thank you so much.

This place is brutal. Leons employees are only interested in getting the purchase, after that they become invisible and non-responsive to calls. I spoke with a manager who said they would call back the same day...3 days later and still waiting. Bought appliances at the beginning of September and dates keep changing due to their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Leons continues to inconvenience my family and continuously postpones my delivery to a later date, with zero accountability. Tired of excuses, tired of the poor customer service and tired of waiting for products I've paid for and have yet to receive. I recommend purchasing your appliances from chains like the Home Depot, Rona or the Brick should all offer better service.

I went to purchase a couch, loveseat from Leon’s. Immediately I cancelled the loveseat. The delivery guys were to deliver the couch to my apt. They couldn’t deliver & left in the hallway in front of a fire escape. There are two people who live in my apt. My 87 yr old mother & myself. Leon’s Brampton mgr was advised immediately that this couch was used. They were not taking it back. He said the couch is marked as delivered. The couch is used. I have even contacted Leon’s head office & the girl also told me they were not taking the couch back. The couch has a hole in the front, the top and back of the couch fabric is all worn out. The arms are not even. You can see its used. I have never had such a hard time in the past with Leons and this is a disappointment. The mgr in Brampton doesn’t care about the consumer and especially head office when the “girl” didn’t want to hear the explanation. I did receive a call from the Brampton store that they were coming to pick up the couch & credit me back. This couch had been a burden to our household as it just sits snd takes up space. No one can sit on it & no one will. My mother is 87 & I’m in my 60’s & “we” did the damage as per the mgr at the Brampton store. I would like for him to tell me how the 2 of us made such a mess. I do not accept this kind of behaviour from Leon’s or their employees. I keep reaching out to hear a good out come, BUT you being a consumer, read previous reviews before buying from Leon’s which I wish I did beforehand. This is not finished & I will be NOT accept “delivered” as an answer. Look at the pictures & judge for yourself!!!
