“These people are Crooks. Do not buy their product. The product in person looks nothing like the picture that you order, it is a poor quality, and very different. When you try to get a refund and return the product, they won't let you, without YOU paying for the shipping when it came, and the shipping going back, which is more than the product. Beware that if you spend your money with these crooks, you may encounter the same thing that I am going through. Then, to make this even crazier, I gave them a bad review, and they started responding to my review, and emailing me, using my own name, as a signature and a greeting. How weird is that? When I asked them about it, they claim it is just a coincidence, and they just happen to have the same name. My name is unusual, this is some sick game that they are playing. The name thing didn't start until I gave them a bad review. When you ask for a refund and how to return the product they offer you to keep the product and give you less than a quarter of what you paid. I don't want this product even for free. They can have it, that is how bad it is. I want a FULL REFUND. DO NOT waste your money on these crooks.”

“They sent the wrong size and I was asked for photographic evidence. This I provided and have requested return details 5 times. They have deleted my requests and photos from the app and removed the link to request a refund. They even suggested I should try to sell it secondhand! The item had no tags or labels and was very poor quality!!! I want to send it back, the refunds and returns process does not exist ! Do not deal with this company.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO RETURN ANYTHING. The Light In The Box web site needs to be taken down and re-written. There is a clear Returns policy and in one line, deep in the text it states "we will not be responsible for the return shipping cost." Not unreasonable, except nowhere on the site does it state that the product is being shipped from China and that return shipping costs for a 1 kg package is about £35. This means that for many products making a return is not cost effective. The initial shipping cost on my order was about £8 and it would not be unreasonable to assume that the return cost would be similar. There ought to be either a company-paid voucher system to cover cost of returns or a European based warehouse to handle returns. Currently Light In The Box is effectively being fraudulent in claiming that "We aim to offer (return) services that will benefit all our customers"”

“I recently bought two wall hangings, which turned out to be very high quality and incredibly good value. Dispatch was taking longer than expected, so I queried it with them and soon received a reassuring reply. Pre-Christmas demand was higher than they'd expected, but they did eventually deliver the goods before Christmas, which was what mattered. It would help if they made it clear on the website where goods would be dispatched from and how - air mail from China being much faster than by boat! The tracking info on the account was a bit confusing, but still helpful - room for improvement there.”

“Slow to deliver but have been kept in the loop regarding progress of my order. One item has arrived the other two still waiting for which were ordered at the beginning of Dec. Would still recommend as communication has been excellent.”
