They don't communicate properly. They take far to long to set up payments. 100 percent useless company. Still battling my complaint

Been with them over 30 years. Will not buy from them again charged me interest for 104 weeks which I finished early in 9 months taking money for nothing absolutely disgraceful

I have been with littlewoods a long time and bought small bits(runners, frames etc). In May I called and asked if I ordered a sofa, how long would the order take. They advised me 12 working days. Today 7th August it finally arrived, after lots of trouble with DHL delivery service. As I assembled I noticed one leg was broken off the sofa. My first thought was I'll fix it myself but the leg was missing! I contacted Littlewoods who wanted to take it away and give me a refund. Bare in mind I am heavily pregnant waiting on a sofa for my house to sit down on. (New home-so we had no sofa all this time) I said I would prefer if someone came out and fixed it. The lovely man agreed and said that department will call me back. I also mentioned about being compensated for this and he said I can ring back and discuss this. When they called me they offered September 1st to fix the sofa. I explained my situation that I'm pregnant and need it sooner so I got 21st of August.. two weeks from now. I called littlewoods back explaining I am not happy and want compensation as I paid 1200+ for the sofa and it arrived broke. After 1 hour on a call with two different people, I was offered €50. I refused as I think this is unacceptable for 1) my order arrived so late, 2)the trouble I had with DHL to get it delivered, 3)it arrives broken and 4) a 2 week wait for it to be fixed. This leaves me with a sofa unsafe for me to sit on as a Pregnant woman. The woman I got on the phone was extremely rude and kept leaving me on hold instead of speaking to me trying to help. I obviously got extremely annoyed about this and a constant offer of just €50. I asked to be put through to a manager (who was unavailable of course) and I asked for the complaints department (who is closed due to lockdown I was told-convenient). The customer service representative also laughed when I was speaking to her which is extremely rude so I pulled her up on that too. I work in customer service myself and if I ever heard one my staff speak/laugh at a customer I would take that very seriously. So now I'm left waiting on a call back from the manager. Never ordering anything again with these after how I was treated. So upset all day, it's the last thing anyone needs, especially a Pregnant woman.

My bag hasn’t come for a week now and I called asking where it is and they said dispatched and now they can’t find my order I’m having the worst experience with little woods

Honestly save yourself the stress of shopping with these cowboys. Constantly messing up orders. And when they do they put all of the responsibility on the customer to fix the problem. Impossible to contact. Rude customer service when you eventually get to them. Will hold on to your money when they mess something up so that the customer is out of pocket and not them. Honestly, can't stress enough don't bother with them.

One year ago today on the 14th of June 2019, I was informed by the “Compliance & Operational Risk Director” that Littlewoods/Vary (AKA Shop Direct), would be changing their nonsensical 28-day/13 payments a year charging system for monthly payments and that this change in policy would be fully introduced by late 2019. An yet here we are one year on and Littlewoods are still charging people 13 times a year, SO WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO KEEP THEIR WORD? Every other organisation in the country can charge people on a calendar monthly basis so why can’t they? As it isn’t rocket science! As an aside the aforementioned professional (an I do use that term extremely loosely), also promised that if anyone is given one of their illegal £12.00 charges for being late or actually missing a 2nd payment request that falls in the same month that these fees would be suspended. So, if you have received such a charge do hold them to account on this and claim back those monies, as I am willing to wager that there will be thousands of you - 0151 317 1151

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I placed an order and had an order confirmation through. I even got a deliver date confirmation through to then find out on the day of delivery that the order was out of stock. This was 2 and half weeks after ordering the goods. I'll definitely be thinking twice before making any more orders from here. I wouldn't have minded even one or two days after the order confirmation but on the day of delivery two and half weeks after is a joke.

Ordered 2 and 3 seater sofas as a set. Delivered 2 seater end of March. So far so good. Item was good quality. They delivered 3 seater end of May which after 4 days broke. Tried to arrange replacement and for collection of faulty 3 seater. They advised me they no longer provide the 3 seater, so advised to replace with new set. So ordered new replacement. Collection of 3 seater was refused on day of collection. New 2 and 3 seater to be delivered 3rd June. Only 3 seater delivered. So, still have original 2 seater and faulty 3 seater and a new 3 seater, awaiting to find out what has happened to the new 2 seater which Arrow have lost. So many phone calls both to Littlewoods and Arrow, both totally incompetent and lack of customer service. Still trying to locate my 2 seater which Arrow says they have delivered even though the drivers said they only have the 3 seater. And they refuse to collect my faulty 3 seater and 2 seater due to covid. Ok for them to deliver (mmmmm unless they lose them - how can you lose a settee) but refuse to collect. Also when they delivered the new 203 seater, they refused to even bring it into hall way, just levy it out side when it started to rain. PLEASE DO NOT USE. TOTAL INCOMPETANCE. Plus when you call customer service, you are speaking to someone in South Africa

Absolutely appalling customer service. Like everyone else has seemed to found they are useless and do not even attempt to resolve your issues. I had a TV Delivered and it had a cracked screen. The box said to be carried by 2 men, was carried by one down a narrow alley which is totally stupid and it's no surprise it was broken. Tried to call but due to covid call times over 30 min. Spoke on FB messenger. Told to contact a company called Pacifica. Spoke to them they said they would arrange a return and call me, didn't call. Called them, gave me a number to give to littlewoods. Gave them this on messenger. Told to do online chat. Chat froze. Called them, told someone would call me to arrange delivery. No one did. Contacted them again on FB messenger. Was told courier arrow XL were not doing pick ups of large items. How is this my problem? They can deliver in the pandemic when lockdown is sticter but not pick up when it's been relaxed? As they damaged the TV it is their fault i want to return it, I haven't just changed my mind. Littlewoods just say not their fault it's Arrows. They said no I can't speak to a manager. I asked why they can't speak to arrow to query why one man was carrying the TV when it should be two and why they cant use another service. No answer just told will be collected when it's collected. This TV was delivered to me broken on the 6th of May. I have bought a new TV off AO who were great so I have a broken TV my living room. It's 55 inch. I don't have space for this with the new TV. Utterly disgusted with their lack of responsibility.

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars or even negative numbers! This company is appalling so you should all avoid at all costs. I placed an order for AirPods on the 4th of May and still haven’t received them! I called on the 15th of May and was greeted with a very rude and uninterested agent who mumbled at me and just said ‘they’ll be there by Wednesday’. Frustrated I just said thanks and just hung up as I was getting nowhere. Wednesday came and still no sign so I rang again and I was told that they don’t really know what’s going on with my order and as it hasn’t been updated/ tracked since the 13th it potentially has been lost. The agent said she would contact the courier company and provide me with an update. Guess what, no update and no contact of any form. The website says standard delivery is 4 days, this is a joke and should be deleted because it is pure lies. Try standard delivery time: never. I want my money back and after that I will never shop here again and I will tell everyone I know to also avoid. I’ve placed a lot of orders from a lot of different places over the last few weeks and they’ve all been exceptional, communicating with me and delivering speedily. This is a disgrace and I’ll be ringing again tomorrow, not that it will be of any help!

Was charged for a parcel I never received. At the beginning of lockdown tried to contact so many times was totally blanked so went on to Trustpilot keep leaving updates to my reviews on Littlewoods and finally they have credited my account today don’t waist your time trying to call you will get nowhere so keep leaving reviews they will soon contact you and I know what it’s like I’ve had hell for Littlewoods you can also take a case out on resolver So stick with it your get there in the end and contact

Never never shop here!!! They are a disgrace. Send you wrong order and dont refund when returned. Scam!! Wish or geek have better customer service than these clowns. I think after pandemic they will see a lot of accounts settled and people will wise up and order elsewhere. Worst shopping experience of my life and they will sent automatic email full of concern. You will never here from them again!

This is sold as BETTER THAN THE WARRANTY, when in fact, the product warranty covers MORE and has the same time turn around. Faulty laptop, sent in for new screen, idiots blame SSD and hinges. Complete and utter con. Would have been better off saving our money and just sending it to ASUS for warranty repair. This is why we cancelled our littlewoods account. Just another scheming business preying on poor people. Scum

Worst experience as a customer with any online retailer in my life. I tried to place an order twice but got an error message to say that the order could not be placed and I was not charged. Upon checking my bank account, I was debited twice to the total of €1k. I rang customer service and was told to just wait 24 hours, the payments would be automatically reversed and I can try and place the order again in 24 hours. After 24 hours the payments were not reversed, I called back and was put on hold for 1 hour trying to get through to the payments team. I eventually got through and got my money back and was told to place my order again. I tried to place the order and the exact same thing happened - debited but no order processed. I had to call customer services back for the third time and spend another hour on the phone explaining my situation and convincing them to let me place an order over the phone, which I do so painstakingly with one of their inept CS reps. I was told again my payments would be reversed in 24 hours. 6 days later, my order was due to be delivered and I received an email from littlewoods saying my items are out of stock and won't be delivered, and I am still yet to receive my third refund. I called customer services again and was told they cannot give a timeline on when the 3rd refund will be processed and that they will issue another refund for the cancellation of my order due to stock shortages. So, €2000 in debits, 3 hours on the phone and 6 days later I will be receiving nothing from Littlewoods. Disgrace.

When purchasing a table they took the money from my account six separate times for one purchase. i received one email stating one purchase. Only realised when i checked my bank. When I contacted them I had to wait on the phone for 40 minutes! Then i had to wait seven days for the money to be put back into my account. I will genuinely never purchase another thing from these useless thieves.

Be warned DO NOT open an account with these clowns . The most backwards company ever . You can’t contact them only by letter or phone with a over priced phone number and someone the other end you can’t understand. Do yourself a favour keep away .
