In the last several crates, things had been missing. This usually resulted in a delay in shipping or receiving an incomplete crate. The items coming now are a cookie cutter set, casing a notebook, socks that do not fit all sizes, a shirt, and/or a figurine by an artist no one had heard of. When I approached customer service about this, I received a standard reply that obviously had not been thought out, something that was probably slapped onto any complaint. No offers for refunds or discounts came either, to try to make good on the fact their service has been failing. They will no longer receive my payments because they will not address the issues in their service line and in the variability of their items.

I had high hopes for Loot Crate, but have experienced numerous issues. I subscribed to the Wizarding World box, but the first month I paid for was delayed. I was not notified of the delay until after the date it was supposed to ship out. In addition, I sought out help from customer service about why I had not received my box, and it took three days of back and forth emails and they never mentioned the box was delayed, I discovered that information later on facebook. I cancelled my subscription and it was listed as "pending cancellation", but I was charged for the next box anyway. Now, I am currently trying to contact them to obtain a refund for the month I was not supposed to be charged for. The only contact method is email by the way.

Subscription crates just don't ship on time anymore. By the time you finally get shipping info on your crate, an average of 4-6 weeks later than promised, they've auto billed you for the next one. They've stopped even pretending to give updates when crates are expected to ship late, I guess because they've decided to ship them all late.

Recieved packages late or incomplete. A few times I recieved no package at all some waiting for months. When I finally get a hold of them they either refund me or make me wait. Currently I have been waiting since Oct. And they keep telling me package is sent in the meantime they keep sending me partial refunds stating items are out of stock. I will never purchase again from Loot Crate they are the worst company I have ever purchased from.

Shocking! Subscribed to loot crate for my ten year old son in Sept/Oct First two crates arrived on time with no issues. Husband had ordered Stranger Things crate too which was late but emailed customer service who were helpful....fast forward a few weeks and it's like a different company! Latest crate shipped late, tracking info says arrived in UK post office on 8th Jan. No updates since then. Checked ppx tracking and it says estimated delivery 8th Feb!!!! Emailed loot crate, no reply until 24hrs later which was automated. Then 1 subsequent automated email saying they are experiencing a high volume of enquiries...I wonder why??. I will be cancelling the subscription as soon as this crate arrives, wanted to cancel now but fear they will never get back to me. If no crate by 8th Feb will cancel and seek refund. Do not use this company.

First and last experience with this company. Hoping for refund. Ordered themed LC in Limited edition, paid lots for the shipping in hope it will be shipped safely and appear before christmas. I'm located in central Europe. It was exactly November 1th when I paid for it. Crate was supposed to ship around mid Nov, sold out. There was only one excuse from company they will be sent around the end of Nov. Contacted company in mid December that crate is probably lost, due to tracking there was 3 weeks of unreasonable delay in the states. Customer service told me to wait another week in the worst case only two. Contacted them again December 28th crate is probably lost, asking for refund. They said they are unable to process refund right now, told me to wait again. I felt like they don't believe me or so.. It was January 7th when I contacted them again, after 5 days got response " your replacement will be with you in 2 - 4 weeks.." Uh, no thanks. Submitted a dispute via Paypal as I do really believe I should get refund for undelivered crate. I do not recommend at all. :(

Lootcrate - don't expect it to arrive in time and you can't ship it back I ordered Call of Duty WWII loot crate as a Christmas present for my nephew who wish this nothing more for Christmas present. This was on the 6th of November and on the order+website the info stated clear that the package shall arrive before 25th of December. Lootcrate ships all over the world and I made my order from their Swedish website. So I was convinced that the crate would actually arrive - with their experience they must have knowledge about shipping overseas. Mid-December and since I haven't heard from them I sent them an email with the response that they will start ship on the 19th December. I informed them that there was no way the package will ship from US to Sweden in just 5 days - impossible! After a lot of emailing, they sent me the tracking link and the crate left on the 26th from US - I finally received the crate on the 9th of January. It was delivered to my home so I couldn't make any return without have to pay more than what the crate was worth. My nephew ended up without the Christmas present he wished for, I had to buy a last minute present on Christmas day and I can't return the crate. The emailing with the crate team was quite fast, but it took me 5-6 email asking promptly before they finally answered the question - if they refund me for the shipment. No they don't. Never, never again will I order a lootcrate from Lootcrate.

Signed up for the Fallout crate which should have arrived over a month ago! It's still not arrived, I have had absolutely NO explanation why, NO shipping or tracking information and every request for information has been completely ignored by them. I've now had no choice but to open a case via PayPal to try and recover my money from these incompetent con-artist! AVOID!

I had a 6 month subscription for my daughter and she asked to have it renewed as one of her Christmas presents. The 6 month subscription she had was to renew January 23 so I hit the upgrade button because they had a sale at the time and I wanted the discount. You would think that would mean that AFTER the 6 month subscription was over that the new one would start. NO...THAT IS NOT THE CASE. I received 2 boxes in December and they changed my renewal date to Dec 5 2018. I am still trying to figure the date out. I emailed customer service and the first response was that they were sorry but I should have waited until my subscription was over. I would receive 2 boxes until my old subscription is over. WHAT? That makes no sense at all. I RENEWED an existing subscription, why would I want duplicate boxes and for the subscription to end a month earlier than it should be? I told them I was not happy with this and the second email told me when I received the box, to refuse it and they would give me credit for it. Ummmm....The first email I sent CLEARLY stated I received 2 boxes. How could I refuse something that I already received and how would I know there was a problem if I did not receive it? I have looked in their terms and nowhere does it state not to renew early. I am sure that they will find another excuse to cheat me so I'm done with Lootcrate after this subscription is over. I would not have renewed this in the first place but my kid loves getting her surprise box every month even though they are coming later and later and the items are not nearly what they were when we started.

We switched after Nerdbloc went out of business. I got my husband a six month subscription I will not be renewing. We have the gamer box. The first box we received was full of promotional material for a game being released that my husband had no interest in. 5 of 6 of the items were literally an advertisement except we paid for them. The sixth item was a pin. The next box was admittedly a little more varied and better. The third box was an entire month late and not worth the wait. The fourth box is a month late again and we're still waiting. In all this time my mailbox is bombarded by emails of Lootcrate trying to sell me stuff. They can't even provide what I already bought

Horrible customer service, they can't fulfill orders within a month, and can't ship them out within two months it seems. They will also charge you a restocking fee on refunds that haven't left the warehouse yet.

Loot Crate has been on a steady decline. Their offering for December 2017 is obviously a hastily put together collection of trinkets. Calling what I received a crate would be ridiculous considering what I actually got was a half empty box. The first two items; a low interest themed t-shirt and a dollar store mini calender wouldn't of been such a disappointment if the star wars item was more than just a measly comic book. Which is so entirely unnoteworthy It's like a bunch of grey pieces of paper bound together. A new Star Wars movie was released this December, it's not unreasonable that subscribers had expectations of receiving something better than some miscellaneous comic. The fourth item seems to of been chosen at random from a pile of whatever mass produced surplus items were available. Some subscribers got a small figurine that had been previously released while others may of faired slightly better. Loot Crate used the term "mystery item" to describe something which narrowly fulfilled the obligation of releasing a December crate. Oh yes, there was of course a pin. The design was of the trade mark rocket. I wonder if these were originally made to be convention hand outs and at the end of the day there were still plenty left over. Just my own snide guess as to the scenario that gave reason to include them in this month's box. I'm not sure the actual value of all the items in the December Crate, but it's certainly below the monthly fee. This is true not only in cost but in its collectable merit. The disappointment has caused me to not renew this year. Well, the disappointment of a poor crate shipped weeks late and the fact that my Loot Vault order from November is now 6 weeks late. I am having a hard time believing that they haven't been able to fulfill orders submitted as far back as November. I expect when they finally get to my order most the items will not be available or sold out. Most of the items i ordered were listed for weeks after I placed my request but now are listed online as sold out or gone from the site. Which also means it will be several more weeks until they refund me for any potential missing items. I'm not really all that cynical, it's just i have already had this happen...several times. It's too bad that a good thing has gone bad. Perhaps Loot Crate will improve in the following months and restore my desire to subscribe, but for now I see no reason to waste my money.

I placed an order during their Black Friday sale and they failed to ship by Christmas or give me any ETA of when it would ship. It still hasn't shipped a week into January. These guys are a joke. Avoid at all costs.

I had 7 subscriptions to loot crate for many years. I decided to cancel them all because I really wasn't getting any interesting items for many months in any of the crates. When I canceled them Tony G said he was in the process of canceling them all. Well he canceled three of them and didn't do the rest for some reason. I sent a email asking why and a Robbie S. emailed me back and said that was a one time courtesy for me. Which i was thankful for but I asked him what happened to the other 4 refund subscriptions and heard nothing. But let me make sure this is clear . I started this process mid november and it is at the end of December. I had to send many many emails also and I never got those other four refunds.I would never recommend loot crate to anyone. I am also going to negatively review loot crate on as many sites I can. Also Robbie S sent me a snarky email back. Real professional over a few dollars.

My dad got lootcrates for a bit on his account, and then when he passed they started charging my mom's account (they were divorced, and ergo separate bank accounts but my mom's was still a joint) without her knowing. When we found out and mentioned what happened, they wouldn't refund us anything and just cancelled the subscription. We were lucky they agreed to it no problem, but the fact that someone was still getting charged after he passed away was criminal. As for the actual content of each crate, it's hit or miss, mostly miss, and you can tell sometimes you're getting 'shovelware' or something that clearly no one wanted to buy, so they threw the supplies in the crates.

Placed an order on November 27 that was a Christmas gift. Guess what never showed??? After many back and forth emails, they stopped answering. They shouldn’t be allowed to run a business.
