Loot crate is the worst! I ordered a loot crate of bobs burgers on 2/7 and I chose one month subscription and it said it would ship like between 17-and 20 something of the month well with no package received on 3/2 I was charged for another one and emailed they said I would get an email when my package shipped and even though you chose a one month subscription you are enrolled in an auto subscription and I didn't get the discounted subscription price or free shipping even though I was enrolled in a subscription after choosing the monthly option and couldn't explain why I didn't get the special price of an automatic subscription anyways... I received my first package three days before I got an email that it was sent... and just being honest with you the bobs burger hoodie I was sent smells crazy like chemicals... and I can't get answers via email but as soon as I posted this on there social media it was on medically deleted.. I am unable to get answers from Loot crate After a 30 day period I filed a complaint with the better business burrow and Disney as they are selling Disney license merchandise ... sizes are very small

Was charged twice and never received product. Customer service is automated and never seeks a resolution. Ordered beginning of December 2020 and still nothing. Had to dispute charges with credit card.

Bought 4 crates, selected only to do one month. They continue to charge me over and over again despite me contacting their laughable bad customer service reps. They literally refunded my money and then charge me again a minute.later. still haven't gotten my original order several months later

The worst. They charge you immediately for $68 and you won't even receive your 1st box for 2-3 months. When you finally do receive it, it will be a duplicate box. They won't refund you unless you ship it back, fine...but they won't reimburse you for the shipping fees (even though it was THEIR mistake) or give you a return label. When you cancel their whackjob subscription they tell you "for your convenience they'll keep your subscription open until ___ date" a date which conveniently falls into their next billing cycle. I had to go through my bank for my money back and place a block on my account from further charges from them. And Their customer service is pretty much a string of generic, automated responses with no actual resolution offered.

Placed an order for Christmas. It's now mid February and even the Welcome crate hasn't shipped yet. I've contacted them multiple times and NEVER receive a solid answer on when anything is shipping despite there supposedly being a shipping schedule. The Welcome crate is over two months late and no sign of the actual subscription shipping. If I get recharged for 3 more months before I actually get any of these I'll be livid. Their website has also been migrating to a new platform for over a month and it is basically useless.

Did NOT receive my orders AND BAD/NO "customer service", BEWARE!!! On December 1, 2020 I ordered a subscription to Loot Crate's Wizarding World subscription box service. When I was checking out, I was offered a BONUS intro crate for an ADDITIONAL $19.99 (so I "would not have to wait" for the regular box to ship to receive a box)...so...I actually ordered TWO boxes, a regular box AND the bonus box (total near $80 for the two) and, as of 2/3/2021 have received NOTHING from them. I have messaged them over a dozen times AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME ANY ANSWER AS TO WHEN THEY WILL SHIP EITHER CRATE TO ME!!! and they will NOT refund my money. This company has been reported MANY times to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and now I have made a complaint with the BBB as well. ***BE CAREFUL if you plan to order from them, you might NOT receive your order!!!***

Abysmal disgrace. I've heard of these for a while and used to have subscription with a competitor. They had closed down due to health reasons. I decided to move to lootcrate gaming,with a welcome crate. It's now 3 days away from being chwrged for a 3rd month... The welcome crate said "shipped within 48 hours"... Its very very close to 3 month mark and they have NOT shipped ANYthing out. I have cancelled my subscription and opened a claim with PayPal to get my money back as they have failed to delivery goods

Got charged 2 times for a crate and never recieved anything and I can't seem to get anyone to reply to my emails about the issue. I've asked for a refund and nothing. Waste of time and money

Based on some of the past products I will have to provide a 1 star rating. If based on current events: it would be a zero star rating. I am one of the subscribers who had a subscription to Firefly. I was charged for 3 crates that never arrived: they sent emails saying they were coming. They filed bankruptcy. I got an email just before Christmas saying that new crates for Firefly would be forthcoming. I thought: Wow the company is going to make good and fill orders. OH SO WRONG WAS I. I just got an email from Paypal that Loot Crate just charged me for a Firefly Crate! Really: You are kidding. Loot Crate sticks me for 3 crates that were never sent, and now they expect me to pay for new crates! Oh What A Relief It Is to hit the cancel subscription button again, and advise Paypal to not honor any further transactions from this provider.

My welcome crate should've shipped over 3 weeks ago and still hasn't. From the other reviews, it looks like it's going to be a fight to get my refund. Just in case you didn't know, Loot Crate went bankrupt last year, so yeah.

BE WARNED. AND see at the end for a tip how to protect yourself should you decide to still shop with Loot crate. They are more than happy to take your money but decide to ship/deliver when it’s convenient to them. See other ppl’s reviews below. I ordered something on Nov 11. Two items meant as Xmas gifts. They didn’t arrive until Jan 5. I tried to get help but they just kept giving me a canned public relations response that they’re working on it. Also, and this is kind of a laugh, they even had the nerve to send an email after Xmas saying how “the order is processing and is on time.” How is a month and a half later “on time”? The delay issues UPS and others experienced in 2020 started weeks after the purchase. Ask yourself - how fast do I usually get things that use UPS to ship? A couple of days, maybe a week or two max? Well, their sire said the product was in stock - but no credible response as to why the issue happened even when pressed. Challenging too because it meant I had to find alternate gifts for these people and as anyone knows, the holidays are already very busy. It’s poor form to do business at your pace and leisure and not of the customers who gave you money for goods. They also sent a link once with tracking info. However UPS said if hadn’t even gotten in their hands from Loot Crate. That itself took a week before they gave it to UPS. TIP! Buy with PayPal or a card you are sure has customer protection. I was able to file a complaint with PayPal and would have gotten a refund if the product still didn’t arrive. This happened once before with another vendor and PayPal was a huge help when it wasn’t otherwise getting resolved.

Would love to give zero as well. They are quite happy continuing to charge for a subscription despite the fact that there were multiple boxes that had been delayed and still hadn't been received. Customer support is nothing but a joke. Despite me stating i wanted an actual replay all i got was obviously the best fit from a selection of template responses which didnt even answer my concerns. Was promised refunds and didnt receive, was promised replacements that never received ( 12 months after i should have received the initial box i paid for ). I cancelled due to the fact that they cant deliver on their promises yet still see that they are taking new subscriptions and sending m emails almost daily with offers. Why would i take a new offer that i know you cant deliver on!! The disappointing thing was i had a subscription a long time ago and the product and service was great. Agree with others - They also need to have a phone number or some other way to chase something up rather than a faceless email that someone can copy and paste the same response in to all queries

Worst customer service EVER! I ordered a "welcome crate" in addition to the normal crate for my daughter's Christmas gift on Dec. 2nd. I was promised 48 hour shipping. I reached out 3 times to try to find my order. I just wanted to know if my order would arrive before Christmas. It took 5-7 days to get a reply from anyone, and it was a generic reply of "we will send you a tracking number as soon as it ships". It's now Dec. 31st and my item still hasn't shipped. My 10 year old opened an empty box with the promise of a gift. We are both really disappointed. Especially when you pay over $160 for a gift. Wish they offered live chat or a phone number like a decent company.

Cheap items and you are lucky if you receive your box at all. You definitely shouldn't expect it on time if you even do get it. Very slow response time as well.

I want to thank the people at Loot Crate for teaching me an extremely valuable lesson. Going forward, I will never purchase an item from a company I'm unfamiliar without doing research and looking at online reviews first. Terrible service, they ruined my Christmas surprise. Judging from the reviews, I should hopefully get my order mid 2021. STAY AWAY!

They will charge you for at leats another box even after you cancel the subscription. Your account will not let you manage your subscription like you can with almost all other subscription services, which also means that you can not cancel a subscription yourself. Customer service takes about a week to hear back from and in the meantime, if it is a renewal window, you will be charged for the next box. Worst subscription service to deal with.

The biggest issue with Lootcrate is that you can NOT control your subscription via your account like you can with most other subscription services. There is no way for you to cancel it yourself or even see how many current active subscriptions you have with them. Your only option is to email them and response might take a few days. Another big problem is that even after you cancel your current subscription, they will still charge you for at least another box. And again, as mentioned above, you can't do anything about it 'coz you don't control your own subscription via the account. Your only option is to dispute the charge with the bank. Items are okay but vary significantly from month to month and in certain months you get total cheap garbage.
