Use this company at your peril! Disgraceful company with an atrocious customer service, they really don’t care. If you decide to book with Love Holidays I hope you have no reason to contact them, if you can get through to customer services, all you will receive are lies. Plenty of other holiday companies – please don’t use Love Holidays unless you can cope with months of stress!

Absolutely awful. No communication whats so ever. Easy Jet have e mailed us to say both our flights have been cancelled but can't get in contact with Love Holidays to sort anything out. They have taken our money and are now hiding. We are due to go on holiday in 7 days time. Feel completely abandoned by this terrible company.

Go for a chargeback every time. Your money will be returned and this company has zero chance of claiming it back.

I have little to add to the litany of issues that have arisen from the disastrous result of booking with this company. The question is can anything meaningful be done? Is anyone IT literate enough to do something about their ability to continue to steal people's money i.e taking bookings? How can they exposed to a proper naming and shaming campaign in the press and media? I hear a lot about social media being used to harm companies, can this be done by angry "customers"? Just asking because there is such a sense of powerlessness. My potential losses much less than others on here but the principles are the same. I hate Loveholidays- but emotion no use action required.

appaling! and acting against the law. My sons holiday was due to go ahead 13th june but was cancelled three weeks prior due to covid! still no refund just a promise of one in approx eight weeks providing we request our own refund from Ryanair seperately and also on the provision we do not take any legal action or start a bank chargeback! they are saying if we do any of this the eight weeks will then be considerably longer? how can they get away with this? there seems to be hundreds of people in the same position yet they nor anyone else are doing anything about it. At a total loss as to what to do

I had to cancel my holiday to Madeira in May because of Covid I was flying BA and while BA would not refund my flight cost direct as I had booked with Love Holidays I emailed and tried to get in touch with them by phone and nothing. After weeks of trying I had no choice but to use my travel insurance. Love holidays already charged me 90 pounds to cancel and travel insurance charged me an excess of 73 pounds so thanks to Love holidays I received about ÂŁ30 back. I saw on another site that Ryanair had paid back Love holidays for a customers flight but Love Holidays had not given the money back to customer.

No reply from numerous messages or emails, only offered me a refund on hotel and not flights (nothing mentioned about it). They’ve turned off all forms of communication to them and seem to be fobbing everyone off with the same lie

I finally got on to live chat after several days and hours informed them my hotel was closed (I had emailed them myself) which she then took 20 mins to check saying they hadn't been informed and she had phoned the hotel herself to check! then said someone would be in touch to relocate me when I said I didn't want to relocate I wanted a full refund on my package and how will they contact me bearing in mind I'm due to travel in a week she disconnected the call. Help!

Notice how now a few bans are lifted their web site comes to life offering great packages and Holidays for everyone. But let’s look how they have preformed throughout the lockdown to see the companies true colours. I give you my experience which looking at other review tells how the company regards its customers.I booked a full hotel and flights package for Myself, wife daughter boyfriend and granddaughter in Jan (total just under £10,000 ) for a holiday on the 1st of July and paid deposit remainder to be paid by DD on the 12th of June. Then came the virus, we were contacted by Ryanair beginning of May to inform us that the flights were cancelled, we tried every which way to contact Loveholidays but nothing in reply all contact info removed from their web site just referring us to our manage my bookings page .We contacted the hotel who informed us that they were closed and would not as of beginning of June not be reopening until the 10th of July( so no holiday) Still by the end of May Loveholidays were not cancelling holidays after the 30th of June. On the 12th of June they withdrew the remainder of the holiday money from my account on the 30th of June one day before we were set to travel they sent an email informing me that the holiday was cancelled and would I accept a credit note to rebook at a later date.Through Manage my booking page it gave me an option to request a refund which I chose as I clicked the button it came up that they would be in touch in 30 days to advise me on the next steps and at the same time issues a credit voucher to rebook over the next 12 months .They say this gives them time to collect monies from resorts and airlines I have been in contact with both parties and none have taken any money from Loveholidays for my booking I am so angry that basically they have stolen £10,000 of my money for a holiday they knew at the time was not going to take place. There is no one to contact and no law on the consumers side I know we have all gone through hard times of late but this has been wrong and them as a company just robbing of Peter to pay Paul I honestly hope they go under One day I will get my money back until then if this review can help change someone’s mind in using them it’s been worth it .Loads of holiday companies out there that have tried hard please look them up

At last some action from the government. The CMA has written an open letter to the travel companies they have had most complaints about - they haven't named them, but we all know who they are! It took me 4 months to get my money back but persistence and complaints to ABTA amongst other measures finally paid off, but i hope this latest action by the govt. means things improve rapidly for the rest of you awaiting refunds. Type in "CMA latest" and you will see "CMA open letter to package travel sector " dated yesterday. In a nutshell, if companies do not obey the law pronto enforcement action will be taken against them! Sort yourselves out Loveholidays!

I booked a holiday to NYC with my family for July. Love holidays didn't tell me whether or not to carry on installments or not. There was absolutely no correspondence of what to do. I then received a text message 3 days before I was due to fly to tell me that the holiday was still active and did I wish to cancel or go ahead? I texted them back saying is this some kind of joke as the borders are closed? Then I received a reply to say that they didn't take any other answer other than yes or no. I did not reply, I was not going to cancel my holiday and lose ÂŁ4000. The day before my flight was due they finally sent an email to say the trip was cancelled. I could have told them this after seeing that Virgin were not flying until July 26th (don't know how they came up with such a random date, when borders are still closed). The email sent me encouraged me to take the vouchers and an additional ÂŁ100 worth of vouchers. Not a chance!! I think the person who said class action is correct. We should all stand together and take class action. I doubt I will see my money for months if I am lucky. The email also only offered the vouchers for the accommodation, not for the flights, blaming it on the airlines and saying if I want to speed things up I should reach out to the airline, who have already told me its Loveholidays responsibility. This company will go under, there is no doubt about that. They haven't been responsible, they have taken money/installments when they really shouldn't have. This isn't monopoly money love holidays, its not yours, its people's hard earned cash!

I have had to take legal action after all other avenues failed , they even seem to be ignoring the court judgement to repay my money i have to wait 30 days then the Bailiffs will be instructed . Never touch LOVEHOLIDAYS with the proverbial bargepole . Would not be surprised if they go under very soon !

I understand it’s been challenging for them during covid 19, however we have just found out our package holiday has been cancelled 7 days before we were due to leave. Before this confirmation we had not heard back from them in 3 months. Awful communication, thousands of others have had similar circumstances. Awful service, don’t book from them. Dicks

I am currently in Tenerife. On arrival no shuttle transfer available, office was closed cost me 100 euro in a cab. Get to the hotel to find it closed and I'm being moved. I paid for a 3 pool multi bar resort. I'm in a hotel that looks like it got the wood for it's furniture on the cheap from Noah. 24hr line is a joke, terrible service and half the time the outside area is full so stuck in my room. Absolute joke of a company. I honestly think a class action lawsuit is needed by those us in deplorable situations. Either way I am taking legal action.

Ryanair have notified me 3 weeks ago that Loveholidays have received my flight refund. Loveholidays have not returned my money or answered my messages. I believe this to be a serious breach in trust and I will take legal action against the company if not resolved immediately.

I don't know where to begin. Due to fly in under 2 weeks and found out myself that our hotel is closed and that they'd told Operators a fair time ago. Meanwhile I'm being asked to pay my balance!!! I have tried for 2 weeks on every possible website/email/contact - nothing!! There is no excuse for not having been told that our hotel won't open again this year and no alternative offered - no idea what to do - very very stressful and also whether we have to pay in full in order to somehow get the money back. We will never never use this company again!
