Worst travel agents i have used. Within a couple of days of booking a holiday via love holidays I had received an e-mail stating that i was flying from the UK to Lanzarote and that i should check my passport had 6 months validity after date of return to UK (no other requirements were mentioned). I checked my passport did actually have 6 months validity after the date of return to the UK and was under the impression that I had met relevant criteria to travel. I was turned away at the departure gate at Birmingham airport due to new EU passport rules imposed which were different to the e-mails sent to me by Love Holidays. Love Holidays responded to this by saying it is not their responsibility to check passport validity. My point is that i booked my holiday via travel agent, i followed their advice to the letter and yet I was denied a holiday with my daughters and also any kind of financial refund by the travel agent. The Love Holidays post booking confirmation e-mail was misleading and led me to believe that i had fulfilled all the travel criteria, Love Holidays should have some responsibility for this matter but instead seemed indifferent.

scammers . fraudsters . avoid at all costs . did change of passangers. they cancelled original flight and booked new without prior approval . increased the cost from £2,300 for original holiday to £5,050 and charging for 2x holidays now 2x hotels , 2x transfers and still 2 people going . now want £2,400 to cancel the holiday and £631 already been paid . customer services is appalling . they hang up on you and close any online queries . 3 weeks now and still to resolved . avoid this company or loose your money

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY I urge everyone to stay clear. This has caused so much stress as we are getting charged more and more because of the add on of two children they will not answer their phones and emails and REFUSE to refund unless we pay the refund fee that cost more than the holiday! I can not afford this. I have contacted lawyers who also do not know what to do. I beg if anyone knows anything that might help me get out of this situation It would mean the world if you shared it, looking at these other reviews has scared me as none have a good ending. Good luck to all that use love holidays

Terrible, hide behind [AI] SANDY,You will get an audience with the Pope quicker than speaking to a Human .Look a big Company ,but office 5th floor in Hammersmith London, I would not recommend this company at all ,go to a tour company with staff and an established orginisation ,not an agent working out of an office in London [be warned]

Love Holidays used a transfer company on my recent trip to Riga I was badly let down by them. The transfer company wanted to change my pick up time at the hotel but couldn't say what time and I was to check the hotel car park to keep a look out for the driver who would not even come into the hotel. I managed to get a taxi to the airport one can imagine the stress. On my return home I checked the transfer company's reviews one star out of nine with with similar experiences to mine, where was Love Holidays due diligence, never again !!!!

d Oct 13, 2023 Verified NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Due to a very last minute family emergency, we were unable to fly to Malta on Monday afternoon 9th October '23 with Love Holidays on our scheduled package holiday. On Monday morning (9th Oct) , I spoke to an Advisor to enquire if we could fly out to Malta on the following day (or at any time during this week) at our own expense . I was advised that as we hadn't flown out with Easy Jet on our scheduled day/flight and checked into the hotel, we were unable to do this and would have to forfeit our whole holiday. This means that our room at the hotel would have been empty for the whole week and I suspect that Love Holidays has been able to claim back a full refund for this. I do not understand why we could not have simply flown over the following day, at our own expense, and enjoyed the remaining days at the hotel and our holiday. After submitting a complaint to Love Holidays, I was advised to make a claim on my travel insurance. I had planned to take out insurance the day before we were due to fly to Malta, however due to the family crisis that I was dealing with at the time, I was unable to do this and it in any event, under the circumstances this may have been deemed as Insurance fraud. The outcome being that I have lost £1500.00 with Love Holidays possibly claiming back a full refund for the hotel room that we have not used. I feel overwhelmingly disappointed as this was a long awaited and much needed holiday for my daughter and myself. PROCEED WITH GREAT CAUTION IF USING THIS COMPANY .

Everyone smoking drugs around the swimming pool in front of children. Absolutely appalling this company is very hard to get hold of

I paid extra for a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony or terrace but I ended up in a studio which I would never stay in if I had the choice!

Generated duplicate bookings ,same holiday ,dates ,passengers etc at almost £2000 each . Customer services hopeless and totally incompetent . Been trying to rectify for 5 days . Instead of taking 2 deposits ,took 4 . Told we had 23kg checked baggage, not true ,basic economy ,so 1 personal item each . Told flights were British Airways , now saying operated by American airlines , not true as exact flights on official BA website say they're operated by BA . Customer service person said she would call back ,but didn't initially ,had to call her .eventually put through to credit control , person said they'd cancel one direct debit for monthly plan . Said to tell Customer services which one she advised to cancel . Customer service person claims flight provider advised to cancel at love holidays end ,but system apparently wouldn't let her . Still 2 active bookings in my account No one seems to want to help me . Apparently no managers to discuss complaint Been trying to get through since 9.05 am still no help . Very quick to answer sales line but not interested when they discover you're not making a new booking . Absolute disgrace , been o. to bank to discuss further action . Still trying to get someone eto advise of my decision . Do not use this company . Disgrace . Should be shut down . So stressed thanks to them .

Arrived to our destination (Essaouria, Morocco), 3 hours away from the airport to find that Love Holidays had not booked our accommodation and the hotel was full - they had never heard of us. We were left high and dry in a small town with little to no options. The whole thing cost us £1000 extra to get a hotel for the week. I was promised a refund (after several very expensive phone calls) and was pawned off to a third party - love holidays refused to take responsibility and said it was the fault of a company called "Hotel Beds". My promised refund "within 3-5 business days" has not been honored. Now on business day 7 and not a word from Loveholidays.

Booked though Love Holidays Arrived late at night after delay to find accommodation was overbooked Told no option but to accept alternative hotel which we discovered was in the middle of nowhere Spent a fortune on taxis Holiday to celebrate 65th birthday ruined Complained to Love holidays and it took them 6 weeks to refund a paltry 20% when I’d been asking for 5O% ….IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING, very slow ridiculous responses from them - they were clearly hoping I’d just give up! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH LOVE

Please do not use Loveholidays. Firstly, I had to change my dates and Loveholidays said the superior room I booked was no longer available. I contacted the hotel and it was available. I had to pay extra- having already paid Loveholidays, for the room directly to the hotel. They still deny that I managed to get the room directly at the hotel. Its all a scam. Then when I had a luggage issue- no help here either. My tip- please go with another reputable agent that doesn't make you talk to a robot for hours trying to get answers.

AVOID they don't care about the safety of their customers. I've had to cancel a holiday in Egypt because of the war in Gaza and the fact that a journalist was killed in Alexandria ..... Love holidays claim this is my decision and people are still flying to Egypt .... So I'm penalised by easy jet but the tax should be returned to Love holiday from whick Love holidays will cream £75 due to cancellation! AVOID

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAM! They charged me £480 extra for a balcony/terrace that I never received because they booked the wrong room with the hotel and they have pocketed that money and refused to give it back! All customer service is by email and they don't even look at the evidence it is a generic message. As soon as they realise they are in the wrong they fob you off and tell you they will no longer reply as they have closed the case! I'm absolutely appalled and will be suing them! Just spend the extra money on any other company, not this one!!!

Purchased a holiday package, stating that the hotel will have air conditioning, Spa/fitness facility, bar... but when we arrived we realized that not only that's not the case now, hotel has never had such facilities. Got in touch with customer services and explained the situation, to my surprise they did not believe me and asked me to check and see if air conditioning units are under maintenance... After wasting two days of my holiday chasing Loveholidays customer services, hours on the phone, online chat and sleeping in a room with a fan when temperature outside was 31 degrees, they asked me to get the hotel to send them an email and verify that they do not have these facilities. I did that and took photos of the room and hotel facilities and send it to them just to be offered a £50 compensation as the best that they can do. I was told that if I do not wish to accept the offer, there is nothing else they are willing to do and I can make a claim after I arrived home, If I decided to go down that path, they don't guarantee that I would be offered anything at all. After arriving home, going forwards and backward for a month with their team they decided the issue me a refund of £70 to my account without my agreement and told me not to call them regarding this matter again as this matter has been closed on their end and further correspondence essentially will be ignored, whilst they were still selling package holidays to the same hotel advertising the same facilities, even though they new that was not through. Only after I got in touch with ASA, they decided to change the advert. Shame on you Loveholidays. I will never use them again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone else unless you don't mind nasty surprises and holiday packages from hell.
