This proves to be an excellent birthday and/or Christmas present that is appreciated all through the year. So good in fact that it is first item on the wish list each year!!

I live in France and ordered a magazine subscription online as a gift, approximately two weeks before the birthday date in November, for delivery in the UK. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the first issue to be delivered would be the February issue. I was told that the address labels are all printed in advance. OK, but why not print additional labels as and when required? Given the speed with which other printing companies produce cards, etc. it doesn't seem such a difficult thing to do to print an address label and post an pre- printed magazine!

Hi I was disappointed that having ticked the box for the 2 subscriptions I purchased to start in January I received a letter last Friday) stating they were starting in November, adding insult I had also received two Christmas gift cards to inform the people who I had purchased the subscritpion for to let them know what I had bought . After calling your office on Monday (18th) I was told by a gentleman named Chris that unfortunately the labels were printed so the magazine could not be stopped but he would look into it and get Ross to call me back on the Monday. After waiting all day I called the office again speaking to another member of staff who told me that the magazines could be delayed until January and he would make sure this request was adhered to. He did say he would send confirm this by post but to date I have not received anything.

This was bought as a gift knowing the recipient would like it. It was easy and economical to set up on line.

Great money saving, wide choice of magazines. JUST a few too many emails though trying to get you to buy another.

Seems too good to be true but what they advertise is what you get. The downside is that it can take quite a lot of weeks before the subscription starts. I've never had a problem cancelling a subscription - or letting a permanent subscription follow on from a trial.

Didn't receive a confirmation email. It was for a gift! So had nothing to show!!! Called and was promised it would be sent but didn't ever turn up! Eventually received a letter. Hope the magazine turns up in time!

A really excellent magazine for many age ranges. I love all the articles, the recipes and the fashion and make-up sections. I have never missed out any pages.

saw the mag - psychologies in my dentist waiting room. enjoyed what i read - so signed up for a 3 month trial. had my first mag arrive & yes its a good read. will i continue after the last copy arrives - possibly not. think i prefer location mags, or home improvement type reading. but, dont let that put you off

I am completely appalled by the service that I have been given by magazine subscriptions. I ordered two annual subscriptions for my two boys as a surprise present and have heard and received nothing in the post. I have contacted you twice and got a rubbish email back from a gentleman who couldn't even spell my name correctly. I replied with the details he needed and again I have heard nothing !!!!! This is just the most awful customer service I have ever had, I am still waiting for some response after spending a lot of money on two magazines. I also have two very very disappointed little boys, thanks for absolutely nothing !!!!!!! PLEASE SORT THIS OUT AND OFFER MY TWO BOYS SOMETHING BY WAY OF COMPENSATION !!!!!!!!!

The set up of the magazine subscription was easy enough. The free gift came in the form of an email, which was blank! I contacted them to ask for another email with details on, and they've ignored me. I didn't order the magazine for the free gift (luckily) but a response to my email would have been nice (and good customer service!)

Having decided to purchase this for my daughter, I was disappointed that the subscription did not include this Christmas issue as an extra. Many other magazines appear to do this. As it is a gift, I thought that there would be some sort of gift card automacically sent to the recipient at Christmas but it is coming to me and I live abroad. Having ordered the 12 issues in October, I then found it quite confusing to make sure that the first issue was in the New Year and she didn't get the November one. Some other magazine subscriptions are definately easier and cheaper.

Not totally happy with the Internet site, not too easy to use or sure that it has registered the gift address etc.. Too soon to say if I am happy as I don't think the subscription has started arriving yet!?!
