“After ordering a breadbin,tea sugar and coffee set two of the items were damaged customer services were very helpful and send replacements straight away and I didn’t even have to return the damaged items now using as storage tin .”

“I recently received a coat that is worth 149 pounds as per the tag, however I was charged 252 US dollars for it. Even when accounting for the exchange rate, this is significantly in excess over the price I should have been charged from M&S. This is an egregious markup of over 35%. A 35% markup does not justify nor represent increased operational costs to sell me the same exact coat they are selling to local consumers. M&S is dishonest, discriminates against international customers and employs bait and switch tactics. What real company would pass their increased costs down to the consumer? Terrible customer service.”

“Used the food outlet. Service poor. No eye contact. Minimum communication. Expect the high standards that M&S used to have a deserved reputation for. Sadly, no longer in my experience. On a previous visit I complained as the cafe lady yawned in my face and was clearly not interested in serving customers.”

“Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my 90 year old mother for mothers day. Received confirmation on Saturday evening to say they were despatched. Got an email Sunday at 4pm in the afternoon to say they was unable to carry out the order. How bad is that. Phoned last night to complain, waited 40 minutes to speak to someone, was then told a manager would call back last night, still waiting. I am not impressed.”

“Went to M@S in NEWPORT Retail Park Gwent to-day called in the restaurant first at 3.30pm to find it in appalling mess, most of the tables where full of used crockery not an appealing sight, as we had just walked out of Costa for the same reason we decided to stay, after i cleared a table went to get cappuccino's and two toasties only to find no trays available, customers walking around with hot drinks and teapots with out trays, i wonder who would be to blame if there was an accident ??? The staff where run off their feet, and it was far to hot in there, i think they need to employ more staff, on going to the lower floor spoke to a manager who was filling fresh food,i thought managers should manage not fill only goes to show short of staff and he was the only one in the store, cant believe the rest had the day off in the run up to mothers day, No wonder they are going down the pan on sales”

“I recently visited Marks & Spencer’s and the customer service was second to none , the staff at Prince Alice Park in Sutton are amazing always helpful , kind , cannot do enough for you , I was looking for something and they couldn’t help enough showed me where it was offered to order it in especially for me and could be collected via that store I was so happy I even booked my wedding cake from them .”

“Excellent service on the shop floor. All staff were cheerful and very helpful by changing clothes for different sizes, while in the changing room and offering to order clothes that were not the right size and not in stock. Super staff in the Lingerie department thank you Hayley for giving me a bra fitting at short notice when you had a spare slot, finding the right style of bra for me, being professional and keeping my dignity. Barbara”
