I bought some clothing from marks and Spencer Meadowhall Sheffield and unfortunately had to return an item, I bought some more clothing and I had a £5 gift card to use, only trouble was it had disappeared from my e Mail the young man who was serving us was very patient while I scrolled through my e mails I had added it to my sparks card but he needed to see my e mail, I gave up and was disappointed, Sam the young man at Sheffield Meadowhall told me not to worry he had seen it on my sparks and he would take off the £5 by hand I walked away from marks very happy and would like to congratulate Sam on his patience and excellent customer service Well done marks and Spencer you must be doing some good training Thank you

Great experience of good quality food shopping at a reasonable price. Very happy to shop at Marks and Spencer again in the future.

I used to shop in marks and Spencer’s food hall at least once a week, but in the last few months I have become more and more disappointed with the food. A lot of ready meals now taste of nothing but garlic especially the Italian range. Today the paella was garlic with more garlic, the chicken was horrible with fat and grisly. The Thai green curry soup which was a favourite in the past had chicken bones in it. My treat was the gluten free coffee and walnut cake not anymore the sponge was so dense and the coffee taste was missing..the last steak pie we had was obviously not the same quality of beef, what there was of it in the pie was chewy and grisly. Obviously cheaper ingredients in all products for a higher price. I will not be shopping in the food hall again and I never thought I would say that, goodbye M&S

Plant based lasagne was so salty I couldn't eat it and had to bin it. For what is supposed to be a healthier vegan meal why add 67% of someone's daily intake of salt. Really inedible.

I primarily food shop at Waitrose but occasionally MS - lately I have been more and more impressed by their produce. There are many lines now that are organic, the quality is good and the flavour too. I also am interested that they are trying to appeal to vegetarians with their plant based food. Often MS get a bad press - why do we British knock our own people. We should support them, especially now times are so difficult. MS flowers and plants look healthy and last longer than other supermarkets. The wine is pretty good too. I don’t buy sauces, chutneys etc but am impressed by the MS range on offer, ditto the cheeses. OK, sometimes executive decisions have been a bit hard to comprehend, especially with regard to clothing, but at the moment they are not doing badly in the food area. I notice that many reviews are very specific. Surely if you take the product you are disappointed with to the store it will be dealt with. If it isn’t, then is the time to post a complaint for all to see.

Rotten Mother’s Day flowers, delivered two days late in appalling condition. Trying to get refund but met with loads of bureaucracy, obstacles, prepared messages and self righteous nonsense. Like dealing with Tory cabinet minister! Total rubbish response from a rubbish retailer

Not just flowers m and s flowers ,,,dreadful Mother’s Day received bouquet ,not a drop of water dead day one ,,new bouquet sent for we’d after Mother’s Day one day dead ,no water ,I’m a florist and appalled at the dreadful service people work hard to pay for a treat for their mums ,and to have to phone them and tell them a lie the flowers were beautiful ,,once yes twice no ,,,and let’s not forget not just any flowers ,,I’d demand money back but my daughter ordered them and she’d have to find out to return money to her account ,I’m appalled and angry ,,they get away with it ,,and seeing the reviews I’m not alone,,but one thing for sure I won’t let my daughters buy more Mother’s Day or any other day flowers ,go and get me a gift card from a local florist shop ,where I can justify keeping small businesses going ,,no more m and s flowers ,don’t want them ..

My main issue is they won't post my review. I gave a low review about a plant I purchased and they just send me emails saying it doesn't meet the guidance which can't be found anywhere

Tried to order flowers at lunchtime to be delivered in central Glasgow. Online info said 'free next day delivery'. Tried to place order and discovered that the first day available for delivery was actually 4 days later! Have now purchased in a privately owned local store which is probably a better idea anyway.

Absolutely appalling service from M&S, highly disappointed. After being billed two times for the same item, I’ve been billed further for contacting customer service to request a refund! The lady I spoke to was less than helpful and simply said she could not issue refunds for calls but offered no explanation as to why. This is exploitation and grossly unfair to customers with enquiries. On Sunday 27th March, I very politely asked the lady on the till and two customers if I could jump the queue with one bunch of flowers. I was going to miss my bus as I had been declined by the self service checkout; I had insufficient funds in my bank account and was not aware of this at the time. I cannot express how rude both the customers and staff were to me in return. One customer ignored me, while the other actually acknowledged me and then proceeded to ignore me. The lady on the till impolitely and sarcastically responded “you have to wait in the queue like everybody else”. Thankfully a kind and understanding lady allowed me to go in front of her and to this one lady I am most grateful. It seems that M&S just want to extract as much money as possible from people. I am a student who has very limited funds and struggles to manage on my income, but rest assured I will not shop here in the future!

Awful service, ordered flowers for mothers day, recieved an email 9 30 in the evening saying they were delayed, 3 days later i called through asking for a refund as they still had not been delivered, no appology just told 3-5 day wait for my cash back, i wish i had looked on trust pilot/ google review as its full of similar tales of M&S being useless

Purchased 3 slim fitting large size T shirts from the Cullverhouse Cross store , Cardiff. Tried one of the three on in store which fitted fine. Assumed wrongly the other two would fit in the same way so did not try them on in store. On trying them on at home found the two to be much, much smaller than the other that fitted. How can clothing labelled the same be of such differing dimensions. Sort it out!

Just spent a whole morning trying to place an order online with a one4all gift card. I was finally told that I have to spend the exact amount that is on the card (not a penny more or less), or I can't use it. How ridiculous! Do M & S know how difficult this is? I'm ordering from somewhere else instead.
