“The website was easy to navigate. Very clear and no faffing when it came to checking out as a guest user (not too many boxes to tick ;) The price for shipping I thought was a bit steap considering that you say International Shipping is from £2.95.”

“Not the most intuitive of order completion processes, but adequate. Main beef: I was promised a 10% discount on my first order if I signed up to your marketing ... & it never materialised. I felt a bit cheated; not an ideal impression and am not sure I now do want your marketing material.”

“I've been unable to contact customer services, the invoice is different from the price on the website, the phone number on your website does not exist. I have sent 3 emails asking to change the order and no one has responded either by phone or by email. Update. I've revised my rating. The after sales once contact was made has been good. I still have to return the original order but there have been good comms since. This is an automated order system and is not flexible during holiday periods”

“I was looking to replace my existing household mugs and was delighted at the range and colour you had to offer. It seems everyone has something along similar lines but I thought your range was a cut above! My experience from that point onwards changed. I subscribed for an introductory 10% off but the code never came, and I had trouble with using paypal at the checkout and had to use card as the only way I could get the next screen to appear. In the end I got an end of year promo code which was great but that isn't the point I am making. My delight at my purchase helped me to overlook this. I would also have purchased more items but they have been out of stock for a while.”

“I ordered a range of Tint teapots, cups and jugs for Christmas presents. The lids on the teapots are wobbly and do not sit well, also the charcoal range does not match in colour across the various items. I emailed IHGL to initiate the returns process and a courier was arranged. I waited all day and they didn't arrive. A second date was scheduled by IGHL and again the couriers failed to turn up. A third date was scheduled by IHGL and yet again the couriers failed to turn up, with IHGL saying that it was a 'busy time of year for DPD'. Frankly, if a company promises something they should deliver that promise. I have sent Maxwell and Williams 2 messages through their website and have had no response. I have had no further response from IHGL. VERY poor customer service. Their 'easy returns' with 'no fuss' returns policy is a farce. I'd give this company zero stars if I could. I will not be a returning customer and will steer clear of any company using DPD as a courier service.”
