I had ordered a record from merchbar almost a year ago now and it literally never shipped. And when I tried to get a refund it also didn’t let me do that

It's been 2 months since I ordered the item. I don't get the item or any updates about when I will get it. When I reached out to ask one month after, someone just wrote back saying they're really busy and they'll get to my inquiry. Another month went by and I had to reach out again. I only received a vague response. I don't have the item or even an idea of if I will ever get it, and they already have my money. Stay far away from this company.

It's mostly a scam site, they say they have stock when they defiantly don't then blame suppliers when you ask what's going on with your order. Their business model is take money and hope you forget they have your money.

In late October of 2024 I ordered a record from them. They immediately sent and email saying my order was received and would ship soon. A month later no record. I contacted them again and was told they were sorry and they were working on filling the order. A month later, still no record and still no update. I contacted them and asked to cancel the order and refund my money. They emailed me apologizing and let me know they were working on my request Three weeks later, no update and no confirmation on my request to cancel. Going on four weeks now and I finally got them to acknowledge they don't have the record in stock and that they would refund my money. Three months they had my money for an item the don't have. There's a reason they have so many negative reviews. Stay away from the.

This business is a scam if they take your money for an “in stock” item only to be of no help when you inquire about the order months later. Stay away from this business!

Some of the worst customer service ever - multiple emails before they ever respond to one say "we're too busy to answer your questions regarding an order that is months old and still not shipped." Give your business to a company that deserves it.

Order never processed/ shipped, unable to reach anyone from customer service for assistance. You can email but will only get automated responses telling you that someone will contact you soon. If you try to cancel your order that just generates another automated email. No number listed for customer service, no live chat option. I've had to go the route of disputing my purchase through my credit card, will never order from them again.

Same as everyone else. 6 weeks after my order it's still in the "order received" phase. Hasn't even gone to processing. Customer service is basically like "it will get there when it gets there". I'm going to try and ride it out since the records are all a very good price on Black Friday discount. But I will NEVER order from Merchbar again.

It's all fake. I have been told that I receive my profit once my trade is done and later they asked me to pay last time taxes and fees and then you will receive profit. After that all I paid, they asked me to pay more and more then only I received money. And it happened like this more than 4 times and I kept on paying money but I did not receive any sort of money. And some of their staff threatened me to pay money for them, then only I can receive the money. It's nothing but cheating with people's money. There is no concept of paying profits to the people but to cheat with people. Actually I was about to forget about my money before my sister found out about chelsy desmarais. We reported the whole issue to her, even with the fact that we were skeptical at first, but she really surprised me by getting back my money to my bank account. Worst company to deal with. Four months of waiting for albums listed on their website and no communication. Pretty much a scam based on the 1000 or so horrible reviews I’ve read, unfortunately after I made the order. Don’t waist your money!!!

On my first order, I waited and waited and waited. There was no communication, and I requested a refund and received my refund. For that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I decided to give Merchbar another chance. After waiting over 40 days, I asked for a refund. Today, I received an email saying they would refund me. For that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. They have continued to list the vinyl I ordered. Good luck to those buyers. As for myself, I will avoid Merchbar. I buy from other resources and will stick with them.

I am amazed at how poor the service is at Merchbar. I ordered 2 albums on December 15, 2024. Both were in stock and both never delivered. I contacted again December 31 when no delivery yet. I eventually asked for refund. Today they said they could refund one of the albums but the other one they could only give me store credit. Mind you the album is still available on their site. At the time it was about $41 with tax and delivery. Now it is $43.49 minus tax and delivery. I was told could only get store credit and they gave me credit for less than I paid $30.54!?! I have lots of new vinyl never had this happen before. Today my credit card company is on it. Avoid the trouble working with Merchbar. Delivery on time (Not applicable) Communication (only Email available no live chat or telephone). Reply takes about 2-3 days at best. Refund process difficult and in my case I was about to lose money. Almost profitable for Merchbar until got my excellent credit card company involved. Never had to do this before with any other company.

Order one beginning of December. Credit card was charged, but never received a confirmation. Placed another order thinking maybe it was just a hold on the other card. Received confirmation figured it was good. 40+ days later it still hasn’t arrived and when I check, it’s still in “processing.” Emailed several times, only to get a stock message that the volume is high and they’ll get back to me.

I made two Merchbar orders in early December 2024. All items were in stock and supposed to ship within 3 to 5 days. The items never arrived. I contact the company to inquire when they would ship but only received an automated message that they received my inquiry. Two weeks later I requested to cancel my orders, but again, just an automated message. I finally contacted my credit card company to resolve the dispute.

placed an order months ago, and they immediately charged for it. It's been sitting in the "order received" state since. All of these albums are available and in print from multiple sources, so it's not a non-stock issue. Multiple emails just come back with "well we're frustrated too". All the while they are still pushing out marketing emails trying to get folks to buy more when they can't even fulfill the orders they have. I'm not sure how this place gets anything above 1 star, they take your money and don't send your stuff, easy as that.

They take payment upfront and fail to deliver merchandise. I had two backorders that weren't filled for over two years, despite the fact that a refund was supposed to be issued after 180 days. Even supposed in-stock items aren't shipped on time and customer service is unresponsive and largely consisting of automated responses.

Ordered 2 records over 3-4 weeks ago and no movement. No response after 3 messages including one about canceling order. Hoping Amazon Pay covers these scammers.

Typical story. Promised delivery in 8 days max, nothing came, no update. Sent email to request order cancellation. Received a note back (thanks for the effort) that they would get back to me, a month after my order due to large number of emails. So I disputed it with my CC company, received immediate resolution - clearly this company has issues.
