“I placed an order with Merchbar for three records in December, and never received them. I contacted customer service multiple times and it took weeks to get a response. When I finally requested a refund, they continued to delay, claiming my payment was “in queue”—yet still, no reimbursement after four months. I had to file a complaint with the BBB just to get a response at all. Even after they said they would refund me, it’s been two more weeks with no payment. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. Holding money for undelivered products and failing to communicate is not only unethical—it should be illegal. I’ve filed formal complaints and will continue to pursue every option available. Do not trust this company. They are unresponsive, untrustworthy, and should not be in business”

“I placed an order at the beginning of january. no delivery. asked for a refund a month ago. still no news. don’t ever shop from Merchbar. they don’t ship your order when you ask for a refund they just stall and send automated messages!!!”

“Similar experience to everyone else here. Ordered item on backorder 29/9/2024. Months of waiting I asked to cancel and promised refund in '15 business days'. No refund received. Customer service do respond but unhelpful I suspect this is by design to string you along.”

“Wish I had checked review websites before ordering. Clearly the rating of F on the Better Business Bureau is warranted. I placed an order at the beginning of January 2025. At the end of the month, when there was no product shipped, I requested a refund. I have sent and received multiple emails and no refund was ever provided. Just continued requests to give them time to process. It has been more than six weeks since my refund request. Do not use this site. I have selected one star because I cannot select no stars that I can tell.”

“Do not buy from here! I have been waiting for 2 months for 2 albums. They do not respond to emails and you get an automated message that someone will contact you but they never do. My orders sat as "placed" for two months and never processed or shipped. I attempted to cancel the orders through them and was unable to as I continued to get the same automated email response. I had to dispute the charges for a refund with my credit card company.”

“No stars . Ordered an album in Dec . They said it was on back order . I canceled it in February/ tired of waiting for it and they kept on giving me the same generic response . Then they mentioned it would take 5-10 days for my credit . Never received my credit . I have contacted BBB and filed a claim . Never buy anything from them .”

“I placed an order in December of 2024. It is now March of 2025 and I have not received my order. I contacted customer service quite some time ago and I just keep getting the same email saying that they have a high volume of emails and that they will get in contact with me shortly, yet no one ever does.”

“Back in December, when they had their deals, I tried to order a few vinyl records. The order would not process properly and I did not receive an email confirmation, yet the money was instantly taken from my account. I emailed their team for support, and they told me one of the items was unavailable and the order could not be processed with it still in my cart. I removed this item (actually bought for a cheaper price on Amazon) and was able to place my order. Got a confirmation and everything this time. The order was placed on December 14. It is now March 1, and the order is still processing. There is no update on when the items will ship. I reached out to the team, and they were not helpful at all. I'm starting to think this website is a scam. My recommendation: do not purchase anything from this store. Take your money somewhere else.”

“I ordered a Home Free CD in Nov 2024 still have not received it or my money back 3 months later, and counting. All e-mails from them say the same thing. We are receiving a high number of emails and requests. We will respond to your concern as soon as possible. Won't use them again.”

“Ordered a record from them that was supposedly on an 8 week back order. After six months of emailing them for updates and only getting an automatic response I requested to cancel the order and get a refund. They refused the refund and offered store credit, which didn't work as their site kept crashing. Three separate complaints to the Better Business Bureau and they finally agreed to issue a proper refund. However it has now been almost two months of automated emails saying "we will process your refund soon" with now resolution in sight. Absolute nightmare company.”

“Do not waste your time or money on Merchbar! They’ve ripped me off. I’m having the same issue others are complaining about. Ordered two records, separately, around December 2nd. Early January I contact them to see what’s going on and they replied with “Unfortunately, we've encountered some unforeseen processing issues and currently don't have an estimated ship date.” They gave me the run around for a while and then finally canceled my order on February 8th. It’s February 17th and haven’t received my refund or any other communication. I have ordered from Merchbar several times in the past without issue, but I will never order from them again.”

“The worst experience ever. Order some albums for Christmas presents and they never arrived . Kept asking where they were and when will they be shipped and they gave me the run around . Finally after 8 or 9 weeks I cancelled the order and it’s been over a month since I cancelled and still have not received my refund . I am calling BBB and signing a formal complaint . It’s rediculous and unprofessional . Actually they shouldn’t have taken money from my card until the item shipped out but they took it and I paid for items I have never received it’s now going on 4 months .”
