I'm only giving this site two stars because I did actually receive a vinyl album from them in good time and it was at a good price. The other one I ordered, however, was a different story. I ordered "In Flames - Reroute to Remain (Remaster 2023/2LP/Trans Red)" from them on 3/2/2024. This was marked as "in stock" when I ordered it. On 3/13, I noticed there was no movement at all on the item, so I emailed them asking about the status. I went back to the site and located the album I purchased and sure enough, it showed as "in stock." So what was the issue? They replied back on the same day (props for that, at least), saying "We apologize for the delay in shipping your Reroute To Remain vinyl record order. Unfortunately, we've encountered some unforeseen processing issues and currently don't have an estimated ship date. In some cases, updates may not be available until your order ships, at which point you'll receive a notification." Ok.. but you have it as in stock.. is it the same stock? Did you offer me a replacement? A discount? Nothing. Just generally dismissive and a "you'll get it when you get it" attitude. I waited a few weeks and emailed again on 4/10/2024, thinking I might get a different answer from someone different. Nope. Same answer, pretty much and same attitude. I canceled my order soon after. I don't care if they have a lot of music that I like at good prices. If you let companies get away with treating people like this, they'll normalize bad behavior and that's the last thing we need in these times. I've unsubscribed to their email. I'd rather pay more to get the actual item than to donate to some vapor media that will never arrive. This is what I get for trying to support other online sellers besides Amazon.. if Amazon did what they did, they would have more than made up for it somehow.

I had three separate orders and had emailed mailed them 2 weeks after the order to ask what was happening since the order status only said "Processing" and they said they "had unforeseen distribution problems" and all orders are delayed. Was very annoyed they don't let all their customers know that. But ok. Two more weeks go by and the orders are still "Processing" I got so annoyed I just went to Amazon and ordered almost all of them (for basically the same price plus or minus a few dollars) and then cancelled all 3 orders from Merchbar. Never doing business with them again, horrible experience. At least let people know when there are major delays in shipping. Honestly I don't even know if it would have taken 3 more months to get what I ordered but I didn't want to find out. The only thing I can say was decent was their customer service response time, they responded in good time to allow me to cancel cleanly.

If ANY of their items claim to be on ‘backorder,’ it means it’s out of stock. They are simply hoping they’ll get it back in stock to send to you, absolutely no guarantee you’ll ever get the item. Weirdly enough, if they do actually get the item back in stock, they’ll send it to you. I ordered a relatively obscure album, and received it randomly six months later. It arrived in good condition, good packaging, about four days after they’d emailed me that it shipped. Its like it’s somewhere in between a complete scam and a genuine service. Steer clear.

Cross posted at Trustpilot. The problem with Merchbar, at least as far as T-shirts are concerned. Is that you’ll buy one that’s decent, with a good quality cotton and a good print. The next one will be like something you buy at a beach stall in Mexico, total garbage. Thinking of contacting support? Don’t bother, you’ll get a cut and paste. There are much better options out there

Merchbar have some great stuff. They support a lot of my favourite artists and I always do find myself coming here when a new release is about. However I’ve ordered from the twice and hasn’t been smooth either times. First time I ordered two of the same vinyl in the one order, but they only ended up sending one. Second time my order stayed in a “processing” status for a month until I followed up myself. Makes you wonder how someone can lack attention to detail twice a row.

I received the shirt about 2 months after ordering it. There was no tracking whatsoever so I was worried that I would get scammed. It cost me 36€ (shipping included) so I had high expectations. I was incredibly disappointed when I received it – the material was cheap and the colors of the shirt were completely different than what I had seen in the photo. It was so overpriced, I can't stress this enough – the shirt I received looked and felt so cheap. I wish I had known better than to order it. If you want to order something from there, try to find another site, especially if it is merch.

I ordered 1 album (not a big order at all) on January 24th. It is now February 22nd and i haven't even gotten a single tracking update. Total scam. I might as well have ordered from wish haha.

Charge exorbitant shipping fees and product takes over two weeks to arrive. I ordered a print from them and another company, and the other company for $8 less shipping got their product here (USA major city) within days, both USPS. Over two weeks and still waiting on Merchbar.

I ordered a Band T-shirt and after a couple of weeks it arrived. The quality of the T-shirt is terrible. It is harsh stiff cotton and the print on it has an error and looks as cheap as hell. Waste of $60. I should have bought a knockoff from the markets for less and get the same quality.

The hoodie I got was amazing and didn't take too long to ship. My big problem is the very expensive shipping and no sizing chart. The sizing chart makes me really mad because I have body dysmorphia and I need a hoodie that would fit a little bigger than my size, and I don't want to pay to ship it multiple times just because they won't put a sizing chart on the site. I wont order from their website again until they fix it.

I purchased two albums for murph's bar one being the picture disc for The Strokes the new abnormal which came exactly as I expected my girlfriend got me a gift of is this thing cursed 180g opaque red album and it took three weeks to get here all the way from Australia to get to my door for me to find out that the album was black so pay double the album price for not even the correct color vinyl that I wanted unfortunate

Okay, I've ordered two times so far and it never went right. First, I ordered a vinyl and it never arrived, so I wondered what was wrong. When I looked it up it said that the order was canceled. No refunds yet. So I contacted the support. A few days later I got a refund etc. so it was okay. Not my complaint, but then I ordered another vinyl. It arrived. Still, first I had to go to the customs, after it arrived 5 days to late there (they are probably not responsible for this, but they are responsible for it arriving too late and the following). Also, they sent the wrong variant of the vinyl. The one in the Screenshot is the one I've ordered, the other one is the one I got. Ugh. With the custom fees it was like 40€ total then. I'm definitely disappointed and after all the trouble, I'd rather not order there again.
