The local director Gurpreet Dhaliwal and Store manager Jess Sangha should be ashamed of themselves. Alexander who claims to be a customer service staff, she's rude, racist towards me because I wear a headscarf. She deliberately ignores me and becomes extremely arrogant whenever I visit, this is the worst Hayes branch I am experiencing and 100% going back to my old bank.Please please do not make an account here. Alexander is a shameful women who has 0 idea on mental health and could do with a bit of educating in being nice and respectful instead on an attitude and being moody all the time.

My account was put on fraud alert due to money being paid in to my account. Isn't the point of a bank account to having money paid in and out?. None of the payees , queried the payment , and proof was provided as to why I received the monies. Absolutely disgusting fraud department who are closed on weekends, yet they can close the account on a weekend , you cannot speak to fraud department, only email , They reply when they like . They are not concerned of your mental wellbeing , as I have explained my situation mentally yet they blocked all my funds - due to 4 incoming transactions - they also do not give a timeframe re: in which they will provide an answer , as to reopening access to MY funds. I actually hope those involved in the alleged investigation of my account are held accountable and either are retrained or more realistically lose their Job . It should be illegal what they have done. please do not use this bank .

Bank Manager in Rosario, Cavite Branch ordered to close the savings account of my nephew who I’ve been helping by sending him money via monthly allotments for his allowance and tuition fees is totally insane. The Bank Manager told my nephew that he would need to open a new account but it would require a lot of paper works in order to do so because the money is coming from overseas. Whereas, when my aunt who was jobless but was accompanied in the bank by my balikbayan cousin when she opened the account was able to open an account and continued to receive allotment from me until the day she died. This is one of many reasons why our country is not progressing, the corrupt system/backward procedures.

Not helpful to the customer. Asking Vague questions to customer. There's some unethical approach. "Just say it to the customer go to your nearest Metrobank branch" Pahirap sa mga nahihirapan I recall Ang account.

Visited local branch (as requested to) to open account. I was asked to come back in 2 1/2 hours as Metro were not making appointments. Then their customer advisor gave me false information. Also I wasn't allowed to use a "special character" in my choice of password, which makes the password less secure.Poor customer service all round.Will be closing account.

I joined them as a customer as they had originally long opening hours and 24 hour telephone service.. Now they have slashed branch opening and teeohine banking opening hours.. Presumably they want customers to use online and I now rarely have an alternative.. Which would be OK if Online at least worked.. But I regularly have bizzare problems logining in. Even if yejeigine banking is open, they most often can't help me.. I am told go into a branch to relive it.. But after wasting a lot of time, I am told Head Office Online will contact me.. They never do, I have to chase them up.. When the problem is somehow resloved (one never gets a coherent explanation as to what went wrong), within months the same problem reappears.. I am looking at changing banks..

Spent an hour sending the images and selfies as part of the application process for an instant saver. After umpteen attempts finally got a message telling me that my application is being reviewed and I will be contacted by phone to obtain more details. Next day received email telling me my application has not met their criteria. So I called them and they said they can't obtain information on personal applications over the phone and I'd have pop into Bradford (closest branch which is a 2 hr drive). I told them where to go. Overall impression: very dodgy, unprofessional and not to be trusted with £85k.

BROMLEY BRANCH: Coin paying in machine SCAM Over several years past experience, we have learned that this bank must be deliberately and knowingly under valuing coinage counted at the branch coin machine. Each time it happened it was reported but the shortfall was never checked and refunded. Since this machine is popular with children the scam is even more shameful. We now refuse to use the coin machine as we know we will get ripped off by the bank. The manager couldn't care less. (It's a bit like the post office scandal, deliberate but denied)

Mobile banking is always failed to log in, i have to check to the bank again then they fix it. Now after 4 months i can't log in again it said "invalid credentials please try again" what the hek? I tried on website i got locked! Wtf?

Tried to open a savings account online which was impossible to get through the identification process ,so traveled to Enfield branch only to be told there is not enough advisors to deal with me wasted so much time going to put my money elsewhere, no wonder the bank is in difficulties

I see it has happened to someone else using the same bank machine in dumaguete maybe its ok for a metro atm to take 10000 peso from whoever but I do believe it is illegal and should be corrected

Despite my expertise, I was duped into registering on their fraudulent website. They won't return the money they stole from me. They have nothing to show you when you ask to view any business records or policies. Please contact "Conceptstrd/com" if you have already fell for this or any other scam. You must get in contact with the "Conceptstrd/com" recovery company in order to submit a claim and receive payment. Their professionals will assist you in getting your whole profit and money back in a matter of days.

I used a bank machine and ask to pull out 10000 peso as the machine kept counting money it never gave me any money said it had insufficient funds and would give me money shortly yet it never gave me any money but withdraw money from my bank account in Canada anyway. I am not sure what to do as it is a bit of money to lose.

Terrible bank, do not ring back, do not answer emails, every time you ring you have to explain again as they appear to not keep records of calls. I am still waiting for a response after 3 weeks and 6 phone calls and 2 emails.

Tried to open a 18 month bond. I had been a customer of the bank a few years ago and I thought there would no issues. Oh really! Status, no problem its Retired Job Title? eh? Monthly salary after tax? what! I had to fill in these fields that don't apply, why I am retired? I want to invest a lump sum, not ask for a loan. This went on with my identity documents a photo of me via the Laptap camera and them being "verified", eventually computer said "No" as the joke went and I was refused! Well done Metro Bank you just lost a lump sum that I wanted to invest with you!

Honestly worst bank in existences they literally restricted my account because I transferred my own self £200 with an account with same name I know it’s absolutely ridiculously stupid it’s now been three weeks they don’t dare to Update me or try help me even when I go into the branch to redrawn benefits they say they need to wait for authorisation and don’t ever call me back so my time is wasted going to the bank as I can’t even redrawn benefits so basically as past three weeks and counting I have been going hungry and freezing with cold even became unwell as I can’t pay my bills or buy food because metro bank can’t sort out this bad situation they have put me under if I could sue them I would if they ever do get around to actually sorting out this problem that should not have been done in the first place I can’t wait to Leave this terrible bank

Fantastic. For me Best bank on earth I've been with Metro Bank since 2015. Top class services: beautiful clean marbled branches. Free hot drinks. Water for pets. Umbrella for rainy days. no fees for stuff other banks charge for. Fast account opening and transactions. I received my bankcard same day I signed up. Constantly seeking customers best interest. I remember running out of money and going into a London branch and the manager gave me free money to take train home. Amazing staff. They got Education and Entertainment for kids banking and today my daughter's are money savvy because of them. My personal Observation? Metro is an amazing David versus Goliath story that changed the banking industry for good. 1st UK bank in 200 years defying the big old monopolies Do you Remember high banking charges and grumpy bank staff?? It was Metro Bank that changed all of that.. It's because of them, your banking institution had to upgrade their services and lower exhorbitant charges. but I find older banks institutions jealousy tried to undermine them but I pray this will win well for Metro. They deserve all our applause and support!
