“Like other reviewers here, an online purchase was followed by mobile phone and debit card fraud. This review would of course be removed from trust pilot. Be cautious.”
“The Trustpilot reviews are all FAKE.
Exactly the same as everyone else, been 4 weeks now no goods, excuses and more excuses Lies and Utter BS from some guy who says he is the owner. Few days after my purchase my bank too called me up for fraudulent transactions. pizza's , netflix, train tickets etc. These guys are selling your card details off in a scam. Do not use them. Data protection means nothing to them and they have breached every consumer act you can think off.
I have already started reporting them to the relevant authorities to ensure they get shut down quick.”
“Ordered a speaker/amp system on 20th feb 2017. I even paid 99p for express delivery. Was to be delivered to my daughter who informed me she had a card through her door for a parcel but was unable to go pick it up for several days. It actually was something else. Phoned and spoke to a guy who said he was one of the owners and would check the system. The goods had been "pinged back" and marked undeliverable address. he would check it out to make sure it was undamaged and e-mail me about re-delivery. No e-mail received, couldn't get an answer on the phone so e-mailed them. replied same day saying the goods were not in stock and offered an inferior alternative and partial refund. As this was a completely different excuse I replied and told them so and that therefore i wanted a full refund (£80.98). I then checked the reviews - wish I'd done that first (I usually do...)..... Registering with Paypal next for my refund - I've a feeling this will go on for a bit...”
“Ordered micro SD card, selected the free 4 to 8 days 'i'm not in a rush' delivery. Received a confirmation email of the order and then no further communication and no goods. Now 12 days after the order placed and no responses to my emails. Terrible customer service”
“Just an update.
Moby Memory issued me a refund after lying to me for 17+ days.
I was a victim of card fraud after using them...coincidence....I don't think so. Someone bought a train ticket and a bus ticket with my CC. I only knew after I checked my account for the refund.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS CAREFULLY FOR UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS”
“MobyMemory are complete scam artists! Received phone calls from my bank (Lloyds) a week after purchasing an order, informing me of suspicious activity and unauthorised payments coming from my account, had to block them and was issued with a new card, another reviewer had the same thing happen to them! Will be contacting the Information Commissioners Office to investigate if my bank details were stolen, I don't believe that's a coincidence. They've purposely shut down their phonelines (initially went to voice mail, now rings forever with no answer), so your only option to contact customer support is via email, by which you receive copy and pasted replies in broken English. After my 3rd email I received no further replies. I purchased the following items; Samsung Galaxy S3 battery, Toshiba 32 GB USB memory stick and Sandisk 128 GB MicroSD (Total: £55) on 30th January 2017 and chose the free delivery option - big mistake. I waited the whole of February (28 days) just in case there was a delay in delivery but I never received the items. I contacted them in the beginning of March and have not had the issue even aknowledged, let alone resolved. I've complained with numerous emails asking for a refund and they've just been ignored. I contacted Royal Mail and told them that it was sent as "Royal Mail 48" untracked, I was told that it's the sender's responsibility to fill in a P58 form and provide proof of postage details in order to apply for a loss of item complaint. Issue is as-of-yet unresolved on Monday 6th March. I have contacted Trading Standards UK via telephone, waited in line for almost an hour but eventually got through, I have been given good advice and will be contacting my bank asking them if they can refund my money in a chargeback scheme. I will also be writing a letter of formal complaint of a Breach of Contract to MobyMemory, with a deadline of 7 - 14 days for a response, sent via Royal Mail "Signed For". If MobyMemory does not respond within that time period with a solution of a full refund and reimbursement of my consequential losses, I will be contacting Trading Standards again and taking actions further, I will take legal action if necessary. I'm also informing Watch Dog of this situation and will be starting a social media campaign against MobyMemory via Facebook, Twitter etc. I have also noticed that the TrustPilot reviews are all positive, don't read that bullshit, reviews.co.uk are all authentic and negative reviews. I will be copy / pasting this review on; Reviews.co.uk, TrustPilot and MobyMemory's Facebook page and anywhere else I can find. My message to anyone reading this is to AVOID MobyMemory, and eBay for that matter, pay a little extra and purchase genuine items from a trusted online retailer. 0 / 5 star rating, I'll make them pay for scamming me of my money.”
“My experience is similar to others. Ordered SD card which was not delivered. Complained and was offered a refund which I have not yet received. After initially thinking it was just poor service I now realise this company is a complete scam, plain and simple. Rather shocking as they were one of the first companies to come up on an internet search, are supposedly based in the UK and have a very genuine looking website. I'm surprised they've not been prosecuted and shut down yet, but there you go, lesson learnt. I've contacted my bank regarding the debit card payment dispute but they say they need a "refund voucher" which I don't have. It was only for £16 but don't like the idea of them getting away with it. Does anyone have advice on how to get money back?
I'm also slightly concerned for myself and others that these scammers now have our bank card details. During the same time period my bank contacted me about suspicious activity on my account. No proof it was Mobymemory but I'd advise checking your accounts for anything you don't recognise.”
“Disgusting service.
Moby-Memory I would have given 0 Stars if I were allowed.

Order No. 200175092
1ordered 2 x XQD memory cards for two events last weekend (25 & 26 February). I ordered them on 15 February and at the time of writing (27th Feb) I still have not yet received them. I heard nothing for the first 5 days, then I was sent an email on 20 Feb to say they've been sent via recorded delivery.
Seven days later, I still haven't received them.
I do not believe for a second that something posted via recorded delivery, takes 7 days to arrive. They are liars and don't need my money.
I'm very unhappy with a 13 day wait for two memory cards at over £128.00. Also, there's been no communication and it took a complaint to receive an answer.
I'll be returning the cards for a refund once I receive them.”
“MOBY MEMORY - AVOID THIS COMPANY
They don’t deliver but keep your money.
29/01/17 - ordered four memory sticks, expected delivery 4 to 5 days.
08/02/17 - emailed as not delivered. They said that they would look into it, must have got lost in post, will send replacement order
13/02/17 – emailed again. Told replacement order being sent tomorrow.
18/02/17 – emailed again. Told that 2 orders lost in post, new order being sent.
23/02/17 7 24/02/17 - . emailed again asking for refund. No replies.
Web Site has permanent message saying “Telephone - we are currently having issues with our phone lines which is affecting our ability to answer calls. “
They never answer.
Have now reported to trading standards. Next step is to contact credit card company to get the money refunded.
Seems that this is a common problem. Strange thing is that on Trust pilot have have a review of 8.9, but every other review site I have seen has a score of 1 or 2 out of 5.”
“Ordered SD card on 9th February 2017. It's now the 23rd February and despite contacting the company numerous times by email (phone NOT answered!!), receiving all sorts of assurances, the item has still not arrived.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!”
“Ordered 2 micro sd cards with express postage too. Item never received by date promised. I emailed them, automated response received a day later. Email then recieved saying my goods had been sent but they also offered alternative brand ones which they would send out when I replied to it.
I am convinced that the original ones were never sent! We shall see if the replacement ones come on the post tomorrow! Somehow I doubt it so I will be reporting this company to Consumer protection. With the history of my transactions etc.
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!”
“Ordered ear phones & memory card 2nd February on a 4 to 8 day delivery. Initial email sent with reponse back saying they will look into it. TTried logging into ther support service email it does not respond. The payment was taken quickly but like everyone else looks like we have been taken for a ride.
Will contact cc company to get my money back.”
“Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering from Moby Memory and the delivery section in more detail. They must physically hold the orders back on purpose. My Credit Card Payment was taken on the 2 Feb when placing the order, didn't receive order confirmation until 6th which is unacceptable, and have not received item yet - 7 working days. Even with Royal Mail 2nd class I should have received it by now!! Ironical thing is I could have got it cheaper elsewhere but chose Moby because it looked a good company. Not ever again.”
“Item ordered 22nd December 2016 still not received 8th February 2017 despite promises by Moby Memory that this would be looked into and sorted which included having been told by them on 22nd January 2017 that a replacement had been sent and should be with me within 48 hours! Poor in the extreme.”
“I brought a Samsung note 4 battery from this seller roughly 9 months ago. After 6 months the battery exploded causing damage to my flooring and my glasses as the phone was on my bed side table. I contacted Samsung regarding this who investigated the issue and found that the battery was not genuine. I contact Moby Memory who have lied to me multiple times saying they have contacted "Samsung" and then finally stating that they never sold me the battery as they had no S/N matching the battery when I know for a fact that they sold me this battery. They have just tried to fob me off and cannot be trusted. If the battery had exploded and I had not realised the results could have been very different as the battery was on fire. If you value your life please do not buy from Moby Memory as they lie continously and state they sell genuine products when infact they do not.”
“First memory card never arrived, neither did the replacement!
I was offered a refund, 4 weeks later nothing , thankfully I paid by CC and Barclays have sorted it.”
“I ordered a SD card in August and have been given the run-around since then. But, boy, are they quick at taking your money! Is this a genuine company?”
