“terrible delivery experience with Modern Rugs - use UPS date agreed and not met, revised date arranged after hours of phone calls all massively exacerbated by phone ringing out for ages and ages then delivered on totally different day to different address and there only solution is to try to reschedule delivery so I have to take a 3rd day out of work to await the deliver. Whilst polite and seemingly helpful staff very little in way of actually resolving the issue to customer satisfaction.”

“Will never order from here again. Need a more robust returns system not just you deal with it. I am now left 120 out of pocket due to them not accepting my return as it was damaged in transit. Goods were covered but claim failed due to not putting it in a cardboard box however the rug came to me without a cardboard box. Anyway the rug I ordered was frayed at the edges which I did state on my reason for return. Followed their returns policy as to return the rug in original packaging but they refused at the door because the courier managed to spill a small circle on it! Never again been robbed!!! Don’t waste your time here because if you don’t like the rug you can be guaranteed you won’t get anything back 👍”

“Modern RugsUK website was excellent very easy to find and browse the style, shape and size of rug I was looking for. Once I'd chosen the rug I wanted payment was easy through PayPal and I also received a further discount for signing up for email updates from the company. I could also track the delivery of my rug which arrived exactly on time.It was really well wrapped up and was excellent value for money. I have already recommended Modern Rugs UK to one of my friends.”

“Really like the choice of products on the modern rugs website. I was also pleased to find that the rug I had been looking for was in stock as it was out of stock on a couple of other websites I had seen it on. As it was my first order there was a discount as well. The rug is really well packaged, it was delivered quickly even though the website said up-to 7-10 days (it was well before then) and I am really happy with it. Great first order.”

“First time I have purchased from this company they are first class, the two rugs I ordered came very quickly and were very well packaged. The colour is fantastic just as advertised look really good exceptionally good quality for the money. I would definitely use this company again highly recommend.”

“I’ve been really impressed with Modern Rugs. The rug we originally chose wasn’t actually in stock, which could have resulted in poor experience. However, I was contacted to let me know and provided with lots of similar alternatives. We found one we loved, it arrived promptly and it’s great quality. Thank you!”

“I have bought a number of rugs from Modern rugs for outside, in the garden and inside. They are fantastic quality and good value. Recently I ordered two large rugs for the garden; there was a delay with the stock but I was kept informed every step of the way by Debbie, who could not do enough for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Modern Rugs. They will always be my first port of call when looking for rugs.”

“I received my rug and the colour was very different to the photos online. I had to send it back. On the website it states, “You are free to return.” This statement is very misleading as it sound like they do free returns not that you can return an item if it is not correct and you have to pay for the return. You are aloud under your rights to return any item so why does it state this in a very misleading way. I will not be using this company again. Very disappointed with the customer service I received when I emailed to bring this issue up with them. The courier service UPS that they use isn’t very good either as they give you a day but not an approximate time like most other couriers so you have no idea what time they are coming that day even if you go on to their website.”
