The sales person represented himself as a Microsoft employee 3 times during the call, I thought I was being careful, this rep went so far and stated his cleaner tool was exclusive to MS so i let him have access to my computer, again before I allowed that I asked again if he was an employee of MS and he said he could prove that if I would like, I was convinced by his answer so I gave him access BIG BIG mistake, within 7 days all of my email accounts were accessed, I have very sensitive Client info on my computer. This is a complete mess, all bank accounts closed, all passwords changed and I have to buy a new hard drive and replace everything, the phone reps response was refund what I paid LOL they didn't do that. I asked to have a manager call me to notify him of a very deceptive rep, no call back. THIS IS OBVIOUS THAT THE SCAM RUNS DEEP WITHIN THE COMPANY, They have been reports to several federal agencies as well as MS. Beware stay away!!! A scam and I believe much more then that!!!!!!

Technicians are pests. They kept talking and talking and not listening and want money. They are hard to understand. After I hung up on them they called me back 3 times wanting to talk and not to listen to the problem. The problem is that Microsoft installed updates that ruined the audio card and made it slow and erased all passwords and history of gmail. I had to put my gmail account again manually. This company is terrible. No problems solving whatsoever. Just talking and talking 100 miles an hour.

Reviews are suspicious. All they want to do is sell me software that I don't need and then try to sell me their own technical support. Ankush was no help whatsoever. I will be be calling MSFT HQ tomorrow and escalating my concern over this service as I am one that believes in customer service. All I received was upsell during the entire 90 min call. I doubt this review will be posted.

This is no way this web site has a high good rating, The customer service sucks, its not professional and you cant understand what they are saying. They all are non american and cant speak a lick of English. When ask for a sup he harassed me. When i sup finally got on the phone it sounded like the rep. I disconnected the call because either the rep or sup knew what i was talking about. I wish Americans could speak to an american. i mean this is USA I need a USA person to talk too.

My beef is probably with Microsoft. One day, my entry PIN no longer works on my computer. After two agonizing phone calls with people who speak english as a second language, I find out that I must pay a one-time fee of 149+ dollars or an annual fee of 199.00 for them to "fix" what isn't broken. It makes me wonder if there isn't a timed mechanism that stops allowing you to use the password you've always used so you are forced to buy their help to "fix" it. You cannot just accidentally change your PIN-so how does it change!!!!????

So after reviewing all of the comments (most of them with stellar reviews, along with the correct spelling of foreign names), it is clear that this company is a scam. I purchased a defective Lenovo laptop and all the representative did was continually ask for my credit card information and tried to extort $200-$400 out of me to "fix" a brand new laptop that I had just purchased that was still covered under warranty. I took it back to the store and they confirmed that the laptop was indeed defective and replaced it with a new one that works great. DON'T trust these people or any of the glowing reviews. The company is most likely putting these reviews in here themselves and they are not genuine.

I was in the process of giving the My Phone Support fellow my information so he could help me fix my Surface Pro when it occurred to me that it was not a company affiliated with Microsoft. The man on the phone asked for my email and told me he'd check if my laptop was under warranty. He returned to the phone and told me it wasn't and so I could pay for help--either $99 or another option at $199. I hung up at that point and dialed Microsoft's help line directly. When I finally got through to someone at Microsoft, she checked on my warranty--and it's still good! She said I didn't need to pay for any help she gave me. I don't know much about computers, but My Phone Support feels like a scam.

I called a man (don't recall his name) to help fix my new Lenovo laptop. I just purchased this brand new and it is malfunctioning terribly, and all he kept trying to do was make me pay more money rather than fix the problem. He was very rude at the end of the phone call, and I would not recommend calling these people for support or even purchasing a Lenovo product for that matter.

I called because I kept losing my Internet connection. I bought the one support plan at $249. After the tech spent an hour on my computer and declaring the issue solved we were done. 20 minutes late I started losing my connection again. Is this a scam?

Took way to long. Sat long periods of time with nothing being done. This is the only tech I have had any problems. All he was doing way reinstalling My Faster PC. There was no reason to take this long.

the foreigner who fielded my call wanted to share my screen without going over a single step, and furthermore, without explaining a single detail, or even identifying the actual issue. He then asked me to pay him $99 to "fix it". Fix what, I asked?? Well.... your guess is as good as mine. He never identified an issue to "fix", nor couldn't explain what I would get in return for this "one time fee". I am sure there are plenty of technical dummies out there that will fall for this, so PLEASE BE AWARE AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY!

mayank while no one claimed to be with MicroSoft, it was strongly implied they were. I feel I was pressured into buying something that I really didn't need but it's too late now. I also believe the popup that caused me to try to reach MicroSoft was initiated by My Phone Support and that their ads that come up when you google MicroSoft support lead you to believe you're contacting MS. They are supposed to call me back in about a week to see if I've reconsidered buying a warranty thru them. Can't wait to talk to them again.

Myphonesupport is Scam - Avoid - Misrepresented themselves as Microsoft I Googled Microsoft support and their phone number came up. I called and and gave the dude access to my computer. He started saying how slow my computer was and suggested to run a diagnostic which took an hour and half. Then he started telling me about the benefits of signing up for a technical support and said he would need me to pay $200 for him to finish up the process. Knowing I'd waited for 2 hours on the phone, he thought I would fall for it, but I quickly realized it was a scam and said I wouldn't be paying for it. I asked him a couple of times what the company was, and he said they were partners with Microsoft. That was an absolute lie.

I would have given them 0 but it wasn't an option! Worked on my computer 3 different times for 2 to 3 hours each and did nothing but make the problem worse!
