I wish there was below 5 star rating. I had such a dreadful experience with them. I sent an item 2 weeks ago. A few days later I Checked the tracker and I saw that it was delivered and signed (but there wasn't any name or a photo that proves that is being delivered). On top of all the delivery time was 8 o'clock in the evening (when the unit closes at 6:00 pm every day). I contacted the recepient first to see if they have it. They didn't. Then I contacted Hermes to see what is actually happening. I told them about the whole situation and 3 days later I received some stupid apologetic message telling me how sorry they are and how things get Lost sometimes during the transition and I won't be compensated about it as the item is a desktop PC. I have lost nearly £200 because of your incompetence and lack of professionalism. First you lied that the item was delivered, second you couldn't provide a prove that it was delivered, thirth: you don't want to investigate properly and find out what happened, or you did and you can't admit it. And on top of all you refuse to compensate me when you are 100% wrong here. I have already passed my complaint on retail ADR services and I will not stop there. If they can't do anything I will make this story viral. Because you are thieves and liars. Because I declared what is it , someone probably stole it knowing that there is no compensation about it. You will compensate me for all the headache and incompetence.

Hermes communication and update is deplorable. It is no wonder they do not have a website otherwise they would probable be flooded with negative reviews. Numerous times they reject 16 digit tracking numbers by stating digits over 16 are not authentic. Are Hermes computors of incapable of detecting 16 digit numbers correctly? I would say that the probable reason is to prevent tracking that shows they have parcels sitting in limbo for days on end.

Shame it's not possible to leave 0 stars. Twice now they've said they've attempted to deliver. The 1st time, the driver didnt even ring my bell. The 2nd time was supposed to be between 6 - 8pm. I sat in the lounge, next to the front door from 4pm until I checked my camera at 6.45pm then checked the tracking. Lo & Behold, apparently dricer had been?! No ring on the bell or knock on the door. No card through the door. I have a camera at the front of the house?!! No-one even stopped here??!! They are blatant liars. This company should be out of business.

Hermes just a joke of a NON delivery company, last delivery Girl told us that they only get 50p for delivery, we live out in the sticks so its not worth them coming ,therefore we get "Driver had a problem" thats everytime and nothing gets delivered to us. No customer service cant talk to any one only via email ,then the usual reply "Sorry could not find your tracking number please resend" i am sure they do this to make you give up . Surley the worst rated company will go into liquidation and let a good delivery company deliver at a reasonable cost.Talking to a drop off shop the owner was so frustrated telling me it was a great system "when it works" but is let down by the idiots in charge

There is no way this company is legitimate. Absolutely shocking customer service. No way you can get through to a real person. No contact email, no way to raise complaint etc. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they actually did their job properly. They can’t even deliver your parcel. So overall, no courier service, no customer service and £105 out of pocket ! Boo them out of business.

I would put zero! Never us this company for any international delivery as they will not track your delivery. Mine was marked return to sender for no reason, then it just disappeared and they are uncontactable. We tried to call but the international service is just automated. Horrendous service!

Driver said he could not make a delivery as no reply despite four members of my family sitting two yards from front door with a heavy cast iron door knocker. Beggars Belief.

Really poor service. Waited in all day, but they didn't turn up within the 2 hour slot they promised. They then messaged me with another 2 hour slot and failed to keep that as well, plus I was told they wouldn't be delivering it to me at all that day. No other time to deliver it has yet been proposed. Their ''Help'' page is utterly useless, as too is their unhelpful Digital Assistant.

SENT 5 PARCELS - 4 ARRIVED-HERMES SAIS I HAD CANCELLED THE OTHER - TRACKING NUMBER NO GOOD - RECIEPTS NO GOOD - I WAS REFUNDED MY POSTAGE WIHOUT HAVING ASKED FOR IT - AND SAID PARCEL WAS CANCELLED - NOT BY ME. SO MY BUYER HAS NOT GOT HIS GOODS WHICH I SENT - SO IT IS IN HERMES NETWORK - I PRESUME IT HAS BEEN STOLEN BY EMPLOYEE AS HERMES DENY ANY KNOWLEDGE OF SOMETHING WHICH THEY HAVE RECIEVED - WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

Hermes might be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Two weeks ago I tried to send a parcel using their collection service and they missed 4 consecutive collection dates. I ended up getting my money back and taking it to post office. Last week I ordered an expensive item of eBay and the sender arranged to send it using Hermes with an arrival date of last Friday. It's now Thursday of the following week and I'm still waiting for it. No updates to tracking information, no replies to the messages I've sent their support team, no one I can speak to about it. I just have a £600 parcel out there somewhere with no idea when if it's going to arrive or what the issue is. DO NOT USE HERMES TO SEND YOU PARCELS AND DO NOT BUY THINGS THAT USE HERMES FOR DELIVERY.

Parcel sent on a 2 day delivery 17th February ,every day I log in to check it states my delivery is delayed, unable to talk to anyone just a digital customer service that simply confirms the parcel is delayed. Unable to email them as the addresses are no longer in use as are their telephone numbers, only the customer support line which confirms your parcel is delayed. Unable to claim so have lost my item and the cost of sending it. Joining the ever growing list of ex Hermes clients see other reviews..AVOID

Biggest pile of dog muck company going. Twice had an email saying the courier was having trouble getting to the address. What does this mean. I dont live in the sticks or on the moon. He still managed to deliver a ring that went through my letter box though but not my other package which is just a cycle innertube. What's he done inflated it so it wont fit through the letter box or in my safe place I told them to leave it in

Just pray you don't encounter an issue as their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with, and they will not take any accountability for any issue, so you can kiss goodbye to your parcel and payment if it gets lost in the system! The website just points you to a chat bot which can only tell you the tracking info you can already see on your account tracking page, and you then go on a loop to try and find more information or speak to a human, which you then discover there is no way of getting through to anyone. I eventually found a number 03308085456 and rang that and came across someone who was utterly useless and was clearly new to the job and kept pointing me back to the chatbot. He said he couldn't give me a refund until the parcel was delivered, but that was why I was ringing as there was clearly an issue as it was massively delayed, so I fear it's lost in the system. He also wouldn't give me an email address or address to make a formal complaint. And also said there was no manager available to make a complaint to. Instead he said I would have to use the chat bot and say I had experienced damage to my house or vehicle and then have to submit 2 pics before a complaint case is logged with their team!! Talk about making it impossible to complain about a core aspect of their service i.e. delivery!! Hence why I'm here.

We recently booked and paid for the collection of two items to be returned to the seller (Wednesday 9th Feb). This was booked to be collected on Thursday 10th Feb. Unfortunately the items were not collected on 10th Feb nor were they collected on 11th Feb. Upon returning to the office on Monday 14th Feb there was a message from Hermes explaining that the package was unsuitably packaged. We then contacted Hermes to get some sort of timeframe for the packages to be collected, explaining that the item is being returned in exactly the same packaging as it was received and unfortunately, the information provided was incorrect as the courier would not have been able to get into the building on a weekend, hence the reason we had booked it for a week day. After numerous emails back and forth (due to not actually being able to speak to someone via live chat or over the phone[all automated]) we were told that the collection had been re booked...to SATURDAY 19th Feb after us making it very clear that they would not be able to collect on a weekend. We replied explaining (again) that it would need to be a weekday, to which we received and email stating this case has been resolved and is now closed. The items, 3 weeks later, are still in the foyer of the office and we have had to start the conversation, via email, all over again. We have now lost the refund on the item and also have asked for a refund from Hermes for the postage cost. We have had no response. This is still ongoing, therefore (hoping that senior management review feedback) would like a call to discuss this - FUNDA - 01282 525200.
