I would vote 1 star if I could. Firstly they lost my sports direct parcel (which I paid for the next day delivery). Then they finally 3 weeks later attempted delivery, i was given a window between 3 and 5. I had to leave around 5 so this seemed like a perfect delivery slot, but by 5.15 there was still no parcel so I had to leave, and it was eventually delivered at 5.45, no card left or anything. I hopefully will receive my parcel at some point.

I can't even begin to say how horrible their service has been. Two lost packages for weeks, when they arrived they are so damaged. They said they attempted to deliver many times but I was obviously home when they claimed they attempted. When they delivered they just left it by my door which is on a busy street (they said this was a safe place...) I am amazed it wasn't stolen!

They lost one of my parcels and delivered the second one to someone else. They managed to do it within last three weeks.

Awful company, lost 4 separate And consecutive deliveries Over the space of 6 months. Appalling customer services, none in fact just some dreadful automated service. Do not use them, They are honestly they are the worst company I have ever used for anything.

I received my parcel this afternoon. It was open and left on my doorstep. My door was not knocked but I just happened to open the front door as the woman was walking away. I called out to her and she shouted back that she had left the parcel on the door. When I looked at the parcel, the packaging had been ripped open, before I could ask why it was open, she had left. I am livid, considering the situation we are all going through, I do not appreciate having the content of my parcel touched and looked through by the person delivering it.

Abysmal service and communication. I sent my parcel 6 weeks ago, it has not arrived yet. The online tracker says it is 'on its way'. The digital chat repeats that it is 'on its way' with no offer to discuss the matter further. The telephone helpline is an automated message that just repeats the parcel is 'on its way'. Choosing the 'speak to someone about my parcel' option you get the message 'sit tight and I'll put you through to someone.' Nothing happens - no ringtone, no message to say you're being held in a queue - just nothing. I searched online for alternative numbers to call, found several but all divert to the same automated helpline. Rubbish. The parcel is lost, I have to refund the buyer with the cost of the item and delivery charge, and no way of claiming it back from Hermes.

At present having to go through small claims court to get money owed for a lost parcel. Paid fully insured and signature required on delivery, did not chose any safe place and as to hermes terms, if you require a signature the parcel can not be left in a safe place. The receiver of the parcel contacted me stating they have received a message from hermes stating the parcel had been delivered and was left in the safe place, me, the receiver or hermes knows where the safe place is. Issue is that hermes requires a form to be completed and i am supposed to put where the safe place is. I have asked hermes on how do i complete the form, do i leave it blank etc. and they ignore all my questions and just repeat i have to complete the form.

Not happy with your company I have contacted you and so has house of Fraser to stop a parcel being delivered to me as house of Fraser have agreed to refund me and they emailed you on my behalf to you saying do not deliver the parcel send it straight back and the order number is 9389267016596188

I'd avoid using hermes any time they lost a package or did anything like double charged your card for the postage, they are pain to deal with, they do everything possible to make it almost impossible to make a claim and get the money they rightly are yours back or the compensation

Well where do I start? They lie!!! They said they have come to collect an item and they never came...with 4 adults in the house listening out. They came the next day to collect the same item which I had taken to the PO to be sent as the option was available. So they came 1 day later and lied they came. This was Very. Second time with Amazon, the returned item.was in the Warehouse for 3 weeks!!! It was picked from the shop the next day but when I tracked it, It was in their depot and of course I couldn't get my money back for ages and just before the return duration was due!!! Why on earth are companies like Amazon still use them is beyond me, is it to hold on to customer's money I wonder??? It is the worse courier or delivery company in UK. The moment one says one has an issue with a delivery company, the first thing my friends say is 'it must be Hermes!!!!

Discussed with this service told me they delivered the parcel 6.34am which is a joke I have cctv at home and no one came to my property till 9.30am although I was there at 6.30am anyway. Told me to go on website as the parcel was signed for and there was also a photo that wasn't true as there was nothing on the website showing this. I have bee trying to get a refund for the item that should have been delivered but I am getting no response from them PayPal have refunded the postage but that's it. I have just been told the the Courier who delivers to me has been dismissed for steeling so what does that say, this is absolutely beyond me.

They once again failed to deliver a parcel to me, but claimed to have. Now they are trying to tell me they left it in my porch. I WAS IN THE WHOLE TIME IN THE FRONT GARDEN. they didn'tcome at all. they are liars and incompetent. If you want your parcel to arrive, don't use these shysters.

Apalling service, said it had been delivered but nothing received, I have been in all day and no trace of a courier, no card left. absolute disaster and shambles. I will never use this company again. as they seem to have fundamental problems with efficiency and communication.

We have the same delivery man all the time. He is very pleasant to talk to. Never leave until our parcels have been taken in. Fingers crossed he never leaves the company. He’s been the best one so far. I just hope Hermes appreciate his hard work.

Hermes said my package was delivered through my letterbox last night at 20:30. Opened my door, and there was no package. Checked on the Hermes site to see if there was any proof of the delivery, just a dodgy/blurry, dark photo of my parcel, and I couldn't even see what the background was. Unfortunately the delivery was not signed either.

Absolute complete rubbish company. Package never showed up and they lied saying that had left 3 "you weren't in" cards. Avoid at all costs.

they stole my parcel said delivered and signed for but will not show me who signed for it as I was home all day. customer service a joke and ebay not very helpful in challenging them. a pattern I see they keep allowing to happen a really unsatisfactory company

Absolutely shamble of a company never even contacted us when trying to deliver !! Have used DPD will definitely stick with them contact all the way through the delivery top class company
