Myhermes for me has been a fantastic site for sending product during these extremely difficult times. My frustration is from a lost item back in January that I still do not have a credit for. I have done everything I was asked to do and opened a case. I have now sent four emails which have again asked me to open a case. Do not use this company if you want to protect your business.

Ordered a parcel which came via Hermes. It was collected by the courier at 12 and would be delivered between 2 and 4. At 4 no parcel and they sent a message saying that it will come between 5 and 7. At 7 still no parcel. Then at 7:30 they send a message saying they had a problem with the address and couldn't send it and it was being returned to the depot. We live in a residential area with the house number clearly on display and have never had any problems with any other delivery service so i don't believe for a minute that they had a problem finding the address. When I try to find out where the parcel is it says it's on its way to the depot with no other information regarding if it will be redelivered or not. And if you try to call the company you get a robot which only tells you what you can see online. Very poor service and would avoid like the plague.

Three scheduled pickup times, three no shows. They say they have tried, But it is a blatant lie, my cctv says otherwise. Their customer service is non existent, directed to a useless thing called Holly. Not fit for purpose and frustrating. I’m now on the verge of cancelling my collection unless the company I’m dealing with Uses someone reputable. I gave one star because I couldn’t do a minus. Will never use them again.

Will never use again  On website quote me £9.92 for 15kg inside UK just before delivering send me INVOICE of another £10.80 forced me to pay total ..£20.72 for less than 15kg with this money I can send 25 kg to overseas very doggy and disappointed

Hermes is great when deliveries go without problem. But when there is an issue there is absolutely no customer service available. There is no human to talk or chat too. just useless machines. Hermes obviously does everything possible to avoid any communication with customers. My tracking shows the parcel has been delivered but is nowhere to be found. How can I solve this problem????????????????

These guys are genuinely awful. I tried to send a package last week, they marked it as collected while it was still sitting in my hallway. I had to find the contact details for another local Hermes guy and go meet him to give him the parcel (defeats the point of paying extra for collection?). Then they try to deliver it on a Sunday afternoon (it's a business, they are closed Sundays) but no attempt to contact me to tell me, I had to find out myself through the tracking app and when I try and talk to someone I can't. No attempt to redeliver yet (it is now Wednesday). Finally after trying to reach out via email and Twitter still no response from Hermes. The 'Holly' bot is limited, it can only tell you what you can find out yourself via the tracking section. I will never ever use these guys again after this experience.

Hermes are incompetent, they didn’t reliever my parcel or update me at all. When I questioned them 3 days later they told me they sent it back to the retailer because there was a “dispute” with the recipient. This is not true they did not attempt delivery to my house at all.without me contacting them I wouldn’t even know what was going on.

I am genuinely appalled by this service and their customer care. I've never experienced anything like this. I received a package on Sunday (a couple of days ago), that I found next to my letterbox, without even being notified (i.e. the courier didn't call/buzz in at all, I just randomly found the package on my way out). I was expecting another delivery on Monday, however the driver could not find the address (but his colleague the day before was able to find it?) so he tried again today and obviously he once again failed to find my address (I wasn't expecting him to as I wasn't able to provide any additional information or my contact details). When I try to track my delivery, it says I have to take action now and get in touch with them, which to me seems extremely unprofessional, but there is no way whatsoever to contact their couriers or customer service. I emailed twice through the """online chat""" but I'm not even able to do that any more now. What am I supposed to do?!? And I have another delivery coming through them tomorrow, but I just assume the driver won't be able to find my address (please note, I live right in the City Centre in a huge building you can't miss!). I never write reviews, especially if negative, but I'm just left with nothing else to do

Parcel that was lost has been marked as delivered by Hermes. Hermes has a perfect excuse now to wriggle out of all responsibility for lost, stolen or otherwise packages by stating that it no longer collects signatures as evidence of delivery. It basically implies in its modified T&C that you have to trust its word and that is it. Well, trusting Hermes is like leaving your chickens in care of a hungry fox.

Ordered a birthday present for my husband. It was sent via Hermes. When tried to track the package get a “there’s been a problem we’ll have it on the move in 24 hours” this continues for 2 weeks! Contact the seller & they get the same story. After 3 weeks of waiting they confess they’ve ‘lost’ the parcel. The seller refunded my money. Then I put an order in with a grocery store. It didn’t specify Hermes was their delivery company as I wouldn’t have bothered. On 7 may I get the 24 hours message... Here we are on 12 may and still the same thing! Impossible to speak to a human. Their online ‘assistant’ is as much use as a chocolate teapot. Dreadful company! DO NOT USE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I have had several deliveries from Hermes. Every single time, it's been one problem or another. 1- I got an email to say we'll deliver between 14.00 and 20.00. They did not turn up and did not inform me 2- A delivery from a well known company was supposed to be delivered on a certain day. They did not turn up and I had no further information from them. I had to contact the company to cancel my order. A fortnight later, someone came to my door. As soon as I opened the door, he shoved a box in my face and ran off. On inspection, the box was open on the end he was holding and it was covered in mud! It looked liked it had been buried somewhere. 3-About a month ago I was expecting another delivery; no show. Called up the supplier and they said the parcel must be lost. And they sent me a replacement. Two weeks later they delivered the missing items. 4- I ordered plug plants and was expecting it between 14.00 and 16.00. As per Hermes email. Then it was changed to16.00 and 18.00. A few minutes ago, I heard someone pushing something through my letterbox. It was the plants. And the driver didn't even bother to ring the bell! A delicate item like plug plants. And it was visible, os the driver would have known they were plants. I can go on and on. Unfortunately when you're ordering They don't tell you the company they're using. If I know it's Hermes, I will cancel the order immediately. Their drivers are incompetent, lazy and have no respect for what items they're delivering.

They lost my parcel. I can’t order again because they don’t have it anymore...;( And if I want to track my delivery it’s still shows me with courier. Live chat is horrible - digital assistant

the worst possible service. my wife ordered some live special pedigree chicken eggs for home incubation on a 24hr service and it should have arrived on Thursday and here we are on Monday and the utterly useless company have not been able to deliver to my address which is clearly numbered on a main road. The online message says they cannot deliver to the address they have - this is total rubbish and a blatant lie as we get deliveries to this address all the time - literally a lie and it is entirely impossible to speak to anyone. Do not waste your time and money on any time sensitive consignments as their infrastructure is clearly hopeless and trying to get anywhere with their virtual assistant is like pulling teeth. The eggs will almost certainly now be no longer viable so do not bother sending them. it is just an insult.

An unbelievably abysmal service. Three parcels have gone missing in the space of a week. For 2 of these the tracking says “you have asked us to return the parcel to the sender”, but I have not!! Impossible to contact them as they just have a ridiculous automated system which they laughingly call “Web Chat”. One star is one too many.

Ordered two items in one order Delivered in two separate deliveries Fist arrived ok Second delivered to totally wrong address There online customer service is shocking and totally no use what so ever I need to go and find address they delivered to and collect myself

Hermes is a bad company, a lot of people unfortunately don't realise that until something, even tiny, out of the ordinary happens and you cannot click any options! You are not able to speak to anyone on the phone, the 'holly' should be called 'hell i' is the same, nothing works! Your parcel is lost forever, gone to wrong address, signed for by some stranger who keeps your item...who knows? this computerised system only works to some extent but is basically a lot of pain......
