“I have just started the NACA process and let me tell you it is THOROUGH! They do all that they can to make sure that you are set up not only to purchase the home, but to be as financially stable and skilled in being able to handle the big financial responsibilities that come with owning a home. It is tedious, it can be slow and they ask a lot of you, but the process is slow in the beginning to ensure you can have your home for a good long time. So stick with it. “The NACA homebuyers program is set out to help become a first time homeowner. The workshop was very informative and shared testimony of those that completed the program and purchased their house to show us that this program really works. Though detailed, the application process with filling out the required information is timely but if filled out correctly make the counseling session more effective! My counselor Thomas was beyond amazing he walked me through the entire process. He explained everything in great detail leaving no room for questions or concerns!”

Connie, our counselor, was knowledgeable, explained the NACA's way very well, and made the first pre-qualification step easy and stress-free. On the spot, we felt like this was going to work. Our next appointment is coming up soon and we feel very good about our qualification. NACA's program makes sure future homeowners are really ready to take on a mortgage, an aspect of the program I like very much because it is validating to those who have done their self-evaluation and determined they are indeed ready to own a house.
