I travelled many times with this company from Benthal Green to Stansted since a year I'm sorry to say that there hasn't been one day the bus was in time. One time it was earlier and left 20 minutes before, then it was 40 minutes late or more. I always have to go to the airport many hours in advance to be sure I'll make my flight

Easy to use website which makes the cost of your journey clear and easy to understand. The cost of travel is very reasonable and even with the non-flexible type of ticket changing our time of travel proved to be inexpensive. Apart from being at the mercy of traffic it is an excellent alternative to the train and the majority of the time the better option.

My elderly father was travelling to stay with me today, until in the coach station, another coach ripped the door off my fathers coach (perhaps the drivers need a refresher). The coach he finally boarded had to take a little jaunt via stanstead airport to pick up yet another coach, so I foolishly tried to ring customer service to try and get some idea how long the delay would be to arrive, after 45 minutes on the phone in a queue, I hung up as it is obvious customer service doesn't exist at national express, the coach tracker which I was urged to use on the recorded message was 'unavailable' what a waste of time, he will be travelling by train on the way home and in the future.

12.25 from eltham to margate August 9th. The toilet was blocked up to the top, it was revolting. Never again

The busses are almost always late. Took me just over 7 hours to get from cornwall to bristol with decent traffic. Have now paid £75 for a ticket from london to cornwall. An hour late. What the s*** is wrong with this company, they're a joke

Their website redirected me to a SCAM website (completesavings co uk) which has started charging my credit card £15 a month. When we stopped along the journey we were all made to get out and stand there for 'security reasons' while the drivers had "ten minutes to ourselves"

The bus didn't show up!!! They haven't offered any solution and we where delayed 40min!!! The journey was to Luton Airport and we almosr missed the flight!!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, COMPLETELY CARELESS! The scheduled bus to the airport was early then scheduled, therefore I needed to reach destination with a taxi. After explained my experience to National Express Customer Service, I have been left on hold and then thrpe call interrupted. I have non reached the National Express CUSTOMER SERVICE again despite many further attempts. Total Spent: £15 National Express + £73 UBER. Completely unhappy!

I have taken the Oxford-Bristol coach almost a dozen times in the last few months. It has been on time once. Lateness has never been communicated so I've had to hover around for up to 45 minutes in the Winter cold, wondering whether my coach is going to show up or not. On other occasions, I have found managerial staff to be incredibly rude, unfriendly, incompetent; speaking to them in person is like trying to converse with an automated message machine that wishes it could do anything in life other than be in the customer-facing industry. That said, the drivers have always been pleasant and helpful enough. The website is often down, communication about late coaches within the stations is poor if even existent. I have not received text tickets I have definitely ordered before. I simply despise this company.

my daughter has been very ill so was worried about her going away with friends ect but bookd tickets her first journey the ticket was cancalld so i re sorted it ect then she had an issue with the bank but she had her return ticket great no i got a text this morning from a very ipset daughter to say nationl exspress had cancalld her ticket she wouid be refunded but was now stuck so after some frantic texts calls ect her friend has lent her the cash so she has to now cross london for a much earlier coach which cost well over 10 pounds so not impressd

Don't do it if you have to be somewhere on time! Complete waste of my money on several occasions. Coach turns up two / three hours late and then remains stationary for an hour so the driver can have a rest so ridiculous!!! - also wanted some advice and emailed them to be completely ignored don't do it guys!

Absolutely horrible journey (London-Norwich)! Left 15 minutes late for no reason as the bus with the driver was just standing for 30 mins and not boarding. Astonishing how late we arrived, not just those 15 minutes that we lost, WE WERE 50 MINUTES LATE!!! and the driver didn't ever care or try to make up for the lost time, how can you not value your customers' time so much?? You might as well don't write the arrival time and just write 'as soon as we feel like it' on your tickets as that would be more accurate. I would have never chosen to travel with them if I knew it would take 4 hours to get to Norwich!!!

I had prepaid a return ticket to/from Luton. I am slightly disabled and found the drivers to be patient & helpful. I have used this service several times & will continue using National Express
