This company is a scam. I placed an order on March 8th. Just like the previous review - zip, zero, nada - except excuses. I should have known when they charged me as the order was placed rather than when it shipped that this company was bogus. DO NOT BUY FROM HABITAT BOTANICALS or NATURAL VEGAN. They are thieves.

I placed my order on January 25. I received 2 -3 emails expressing regrets at the delay in shipping. I tried to be understanding and patient. Over the past month, I have email 4 more times. Each time, getting the same canned response. 2 days ago, I tried again. This time, I got a response saying my order must have been lost and asking if my address was correct. So, currently, I am out $114 (I had great hopes for this company) and no products, and getting the runaround. At this point, I feel I should get the products AND a refund. I am thoroughly disappointed. At this point, I'm still not sure I will ever see anything for my lost $114. :(

I was very skeptical that this company was a scam because of how long it had taken to deliver my order and the fact that there was no tracking information and just a lot of reasons, however, once the order was delivered, my tone and belief completely changed. These products are amazing. The shampoo and conditioner was weird to use at first because it is a bar but they are both amazing. The lather on both the shampoo and body wash are both incredible. The conditioner makes my hair feel very healthy. The deodorant smells amazing and is the first vegan deodorant I have been able to use more than a week without my skin freaking out. I have had no negative reaction from the deodorant other than it wears off by the end of the day, but all vegan deodorants do. I just reapply if I need mid day. I read reviews about the bristles coming out of the toothbrushes but I have used it consistently and have not had that happen with mine at all. The only downside (other than how truly long it took for it to be delivered) is the flavor of the lip balm. I love the smell and it makes my lips feel awesome, but the flavor tastes like I have licked baby powder. I really don't like the way it tastes at all. But other than that, I am just in love with all the products. They did send extra bonus product amounts to me to make up for it being so late being delivered so I am just thrilled. I took about a month using the products before I left this so I could be really honest about my take on the products. Such a fan now!!

Terrible service, and I STILL haven't received my merchandise. These guys are either a scam, or the worst company ever. Don't buy from them.

SCAM!!! Do not order from them. You will NEVER get your order. It's been over 6 weeks for. It's infuriating to be scammed while serving in a combat zone. Shame on this company.

I've been waiting for my product to show up for six weeks now... Still nothing. When asked what's going on, I was told, "good news.... (I will have to) just have to wait a little longer.

Never received product, although the customer service was sub par I feel as if the company got a influx of orders and could not handle the pressure. Shipping info is useless. Will never do business with them again. They are a scam DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!!!!!

Ordered plastic-free bundles (shampoo, deodorant etc) in mid-January 2020. Three months later, mid-April, it had never shipped despite multiple promises & excuses across platforms/emails. I was super patient but saw in social media comments that people who did finally receive product had missing/damaged items. After 3 months passed with no evidence of shipment (not the same as creating a shipping label!) I received a full refund in mid-April 2020. Their payment processor Stripe takes 3-14 days to process your refund (per stripe website). The two stars is because I actually got my refund otherwise it would have been 1 star. I had been monitoring consumer comments across social media & learned that they had been creating packing slips months before shipping, and trying to say they couldn’t issue a refund until you received the product & shipped it back to them. That’s not going to fly. My tip: when requesting refund, do screenshots and/or a log of the promised & missed ship dates and circle relevant parts of refund policy & any other policies of theirs you can find. I was firm but polite and noted based on my documentation that they had not fulfilled their side of the transaction (or contract). I got a refund with no hassle at that point. I think they just don’t have the inventory or bandwidth or organization. They’ve been having problems with fulfillment at this stage. I was patient due to the move from Michigan to Canada and because of the virus. But when I started to get sales emails it irked me that they were soliciting customers despite being months behind on fulfillment.

Ordered on 03/31 and still have not received a tracking number. Kept getting promises of next week, next week, next week. I begged for a refund because this order was meant for my friends and family members who are essential workers and I do not wish for a company to keep my money for an order that may not come at all, but they said they are near bankrupted so they cannot do that. After reading all of these reviews and seeing how some ordered way before me and still have not received their product, I may have to dispute with my bank.

To whom it may concern; Nowhere to turn, I must discuss my issues with your products here. I’ve been plastic free for 8 years and you must imagine my delight at discovering your products in 2018. I ordered right before the name and packaging change and got a “deal” by getting a five pack. (I had tried my hand at making “bar shampoo” and had a good product, in a vegetable glycerine base.) The shampoo bar: left my hair sticky, flat and dull. Never did get a response about that or not getting any conditioning bars. And such an awkward shape to hold or try to find a container for, to travel with and the wavy edge just disappears in the shower from the spray of the nozzle, losing that whole odd edge in the fist three uses which is very wasteful. The lip balm: So huge, impossible to keep in a pocket so I put it in my purse where it melted and ruined both the purse and everything in it. The body bar: Lovely, but again the awkward shape, no way to travel with, odd disappearing wasteful edge. Luffa: Not a luffa (which I grow) and unlike luffa that dries quickly and can be traveled with, your scrubby stays wet for ages and tends toward mold. Deodorant: You kept saying “just hang in there” and I have (for months) but either no one works as hard and as many hours as I do or it doesn’t accomplish deodorizing. I have a very clean diet, sooo I don’t understand what’s going on there. I like the idea of your company and the idea of it’s packaging but not sooo much the products themselves or the presentation. Both the lip balm and deodorant are difficult to push up and have no way to retract so the product smashes up into the lid. The soaps are an awkward shape to work with on every level. I’d like to return what I have not used for a refund. There seems no way to talk to anyone about these issues and so-far I’ve had no response from anybody. In its present state I would not recommend or continue to purchase. May I suggest you stop trying to go forward with more till you’ve fixed what you have. Please respond and let me know how/where I may get a refund? Sad Custmer service: So far it’s been months without a resolution.

I'm bummed to say that I am not at all happy with their products. I really wanted to like them and support their great mission but my experience so far is far from good. The conditioner bar seems impossible to use since barely any product rubs off of the bar onto my hands or hair. As for the bar of soap, it broke into little pieces after about a week of use and it will probably all be gone in the next few days...
