“This is my second experience when doing a payment over weekends.I trust my sms I get from Nedbank,it makes sense when you do a transaction,you immediately see whats left to use or withdraw.I made a payment on Sunday,checked my available balance,kept this in my mind because I transfer money to my savings after using what I need.I even checked my app.Guess what,on Monday when I wanted to transfer the funds,half of it was gone.So they claiming that they only took the money on Monday.Fine,then why would this money show its available to you to withdraw when its pending?If I transfer money it would no longer be available to withdraw.What would have happened if I decided to withdraw the rest of the money.It made no sense.They also claim that the app is delayed.And thats the reason I would rather look at the sms.Like I said,not the first time it happened.And my fees amounted to more than R300,I get paid weekly.I am defnitely changing banks.I have decided to close all my accounts with them.I am g#%$vol.”
“I applied for a nedbank gold credit card,my application was declined they did not even state the reason they just told me that they consider my application as a risk factor. I'm so disappointed, on top of that they sent me a debit order card which I did not apply for . They want me to use their bank while they consider me a a risk factorđ.I'm not happy”

“Only have trouble with this bank!
First off make a complaint to the fraud department that we have paid money for products never recieved and asked for advice and to open a case, we got an affidavit and submitted to strengthen the case, what does Nedbank do? Freeze our account now our money is not available to us and we have a baby to take care of and a house to run. Numerous hours and phone calls later and they cannot give a answer as to why and only keep saying the case can take 4-6 weeks, but they will escalate it as urgent and contact ASAP, well it has been 3 weeks now and everytime it is just the same story. Horrible experience and terrible client services, do not trust them to keep you safe as a client, they do not care”

I have never seen people with a slow pace like this in my life.. waited for more than hour to get help .. amd another 15 minutes or above while attending to me.. nothing much I only went there to collect my card that has been already opened .. but still I had to wait..for so long.. “In March, I alled into Nedbank to unlink GB from my account. The agent told me it would take 48hrs to unlink. It's April now and the GB is still active and another R30 was deducted for the month of April when I specifically asked the agent to unlink my account!!!!!. I called in wanting to close my account and now I cannot because the account has a -R30 that honestly is not my problem. I should actually be reimbursed for that!!!! “So someone sent me a "cash send" for a cash withdrawal. I have done this many many times. I went to the Nedbank ATM at Newmarket Mall Alberton. After putting in the 10 digit no and pin and amount it asked me to confirm details. I checked all was well pushed proceed. came up 'processing". 5 minutes later was still going round with "processing" showing. Called Mall security as it seemed machine had no money in but it still continued with processing showing. Waited another 5 minutes trying to xancel transaction. Nothing happened. Just continued showing "processing". Security man said he could not help and I did not know what to do - as ATM did not give money nor cancel transaction. now 15 minutes later. I had Uber driver charging me waiting time per minute in car park. I had pushed cancel transaction at least 25 times. I decided to leave then. As I was walking away the money dispenser opened and there was the money. ONE MINUTE MORE AND I - A PENSIONER - WOULD HAVE LOST THAT MONEY!!!! DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM AN ATM EVEN 20/25 MINUTES hLATER - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!! Surely in this day and age Nedbank can do something about this. Obviously there was congestion and or overload with heir system being pay day and long weekend - but that is no consolation for people who cannot cancel a transaction and stand there bewildered. A few minutes yes but so long NO!!!! A trip that should have cost me R40 with Uber landed up costing me R140 - a fortune for an old age pensioner. Wake up Nedbank!”
“Never take any insurance with kes bank, they are bad. No customer service whatsoever. Been trying to cancel my insurance policies last 20 days and today they even debited my account after so many emails I sent them. DON'T INSURER WITH NEDBANK THEY DON'T EVEN PAY CLAILS”
“Tried to open a non resident account. Worst customer service ever. Months and months of chasing up and all emails ignored. Put in complaints which are then forwarded to the person who I complained about asking them to "please deal with this" which of course they don't because that's why I was complaining. Wish I'd read reviews before I chose Nedbank. Now I have to start the process again with another bank. At least they can't be worse than Nedbank. Absolutely appalling.”

Contacted bank in every oossible way. Many times, day after day weeknafter week, costly calls, time wssting changing passwords time after time, begging for help; by online, by phone, by chatbot, by Enbi, by live chat, by phone 0ver and over, success, - to no avail.
Losing money every day, losing precious time, getting no help, no access. Tears, anxiety, despair !”
“I deposited R4000 into a Nedbank account that seems to be fraudulent. When I open an account I have to provide all kinds of security from finger prints to proof of everything. How can there be a fraudulent account? Obviously the bank feels a f_^k. Just telling me to get a lawyer and go to the police. As we don't have police in SA...it is a waste of time. Pity that the banks are so unethical to open fraud accounts and not to give a guck if you lose your money. They even refuse to investigate the account that it was put into. Disgusting policy. Shame on the banks. Also don't go to Nedbank in Brackenfell. You wait hours to be serviced. The new SA. F#cked up.

“I'm not happy with the Rosebank mall Nedbank branch I went to print my bank statement and I end up get charged 340 Rand's first the didn't put paper in the self service machine but there's no any alert for you to not print and then the lady send me to the ATM still it didn't print but still charge me and my card stuck there I had to water more the 30minutes then when they take it out the send me to a person to assist me she told me to print there it charge 140 which I was fine with it but she did it twice which end up charging me twice and the money app it's worse u can't review your statement so Im not happy to be charge extra money for their own mistakes I use to think Nedbank it's better but I'm starting to doubt that”
