I sent money into a wrong account basically from nedbank to fnb , I went to the bank literally less than two hours after the transaction to try and recall the money. Guess what five days later i receive an email notifying that they couldnt recall cause the recipient account had unsufficient funds and I am lias with the reciepent. I am not happy at all with the feedback, its clear nedbank is after money than resolving our queries.

I recently moved my banking to Nedbank and I was scammed over R400 on my American Express card by Uber Eats, I have never even used the card on the platform. The Nedbank fraud department told me that the investigation takes about 9 weeks and I may not get the money back

Nedbank protect clients that are unduly enriched. They will rather not loose a client than act to protect the rights of someone whos rights have been infringed. It nothing short of shocking.

You will lose the will to live if you make the mistake of trying to bank with these clowns. I can't even tell the full story without bursting a blood vessel. Suffice to say that diversity hires have destroyed this bank. It's beyond redemption. They failed to resolve a really simple complaint in a year so i gave up. Transferred all my money out because they suck. Today I got a spam email (despite blocking nedbank) asking me to rate their service! What service?

Nedbank allows scammers and fraudsters to use their banking ecosystem. I was scammed by fraudsters and after I reported the crime to Nedbank I had to wait more than 5 weeks for the conclusion of the "investigation". What was their answer? "Funds utilised", that's it. They are basically saying, "move on and forget about it" which means they are creating an enabling environment for scammers. They should return my money and pursue the scammers who use their banking ecosystem.

I have transactions that should be coming through they are not showing at all. I received money that didn’t reflect on my account and they are not assisting me at all,I called three tellers they all haven’t assisted me. I’m so disappointed with your service,I am going to use another bank,I’m leaving this one.

This is my second experience when doing a payment over weekends.I trust my sms I get from Nedbank,it makes sense when you do a transaction,you immediately see whats left to use or withdraw.I made a payment on Sunday,checked my available balance,kept this in my mind because I transfer money to my savings after using what I need.I even checked my app.Guess what,on Monday when I wanted to transfer the funds,half of it was gone.So they claiming that they only took the money on Monday.Fine,then why would this money show its available to you to withdraw when its pending?If I transfer money it would no longer be available to withdraw.What would have happened if I decided to withdraw the rest of the money.It made no sense.They also claim that the app is delayed.And thats the reason I would rather look at the sms.Like I said,not the first time it happened.And my fees amounted to more than R300,I get paid weekly.I am defnitely changing banks.I have decided to close all my accounts with them.I am g#%$vol.

I applied for a nedbank gold credit card,my application was declined they did not even state the reason they just told me that they consider my application as a risk factor. I'm so disappointed, on top of that they sent me a debit order card which I did not apply for . They want me to use their bank while they consider me a a risk factor💔.I'm not happy

The service rendered by Lungelo couldn’t be worse , I needed to verify a payment , I had a ref number of the payment , but he totally refused on do the verification , he could say only no no no no . That was a posible fraudulent payment , but netback refused to help !! Good luck !

Only have trouble with this bank! First off make a complaint to the fraud department that we have paid money for products never recieved and asked for advice and to open a case, we got an affidavit and submitted to strengthen the case, what does Nedbank do? Freeze our account now our money is not available to us and we have a baby to take care of and a house to run. Numerous hours and phone calls later and they cannot give a answer as to why and only keep saying the case can take 4-6 weeks, but they will escalate it as urgent and contact ASAP, well it has been 3 weeks now and everytime it is just the same story. Horrible experience and terrible client services, do not trust them to keep you safe as a client, they do not care

Good wood nedbank .. I have never seen people with a slow pace like this in my life.. waited for more than hour to get help .. amd another 15 minutes or above while attending to me.. nothing much I only went there to collect my card that has been already opened .. but still I had to wait..for so long.. I honestly wanted to recieve my salary with their account but never.. imagine I have a serious problem .. n they keep me waiting my money being showed by scammers in the bank .. or anything serious.. never.. this lady that was helping me kept on going up amd down asking wat to do as if it her first day at work ..never

If rating them a 0 was an option I would click on 0. No respect for customers. NO customer service. Sh*t happens to everybody, even in the best companies. But how you deal with a customer after making a mistake is important. The agents I have worked with the last two weeks just don't have a clue.

In March, I alled into Nedbank to unlink GB from my account. The agent told me it would take 48hrs to unlink. It's April now and the GB is still active and another R30 was deducted for the month of April when I specifically asked the agent to unlink my account!!!!!. I called in wanting to close my account and now I cannot because the account has a -R30 that honestly is not my problem. I should actually be reimbursed for that!!!! Now, because the last agent I spoke to said there is a TICKET LOGGED FOR MY GB ENQUIRY. A TICKET WITH NO DETAILS. WHAT THE ACTUAL ****** is this bank's problem!!!?????

Its a company that cares about making extra money not the client if its their money its not worth taking your money to this company. You bank with Nedbank you suffer as client they don't even care .Appalling

So someone sent me a "cash send" for a cash withdrawal. I have done this many many times. I went to the Nedbank ATM at Newmarket Mall Alberton. After putting in the 10 digit no and pin and amount it asked me to confirm details. I checked all was well pushed proceed. came up 'processing". 5 minutes later was still going round with "processing" showing. Called Mall security as it seemed machine had no money in but it still continued with processing showing. Waited another 5 minutes trying to xancel transaction. Nothing happened. Just continued showing "processing". Security man said he could not help and I did not know what to do - as ATM did not give money nor cancel transaction. now 15 minutes later. I had Uber driver charging me waiting time per minute in car park. I had pushed cancel transaction at least 25 times. I decided to leave then. As I was walking away the money dispenser opened and there was the money. ONE MINUTE MORE AND I - A PENSIONER - WOULD HAVE LOST THAT MONEY!!!! DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM AN ATM EVEN 20/25 MINUTES hLATER - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!! Surely in this day and age Nedbank can do something about this. Obviously there was congestion and or overload with heir system being pay day and long weekend - but that is no consolation for people who cannot cancel a transaction and stand there bewildered. A few minutes yes but so long NO!!!! A trip that should have cost me R40 with Uber landed up costing me R140 - a fortune for an old age pensioner. Wake up Nedbank!

Never take any insurance with kes bank, they are bad. No customer service whatsoever. Been trying to cancel my insurance policies last 20 days and today they even debited my account after so many emails I sent them. DON'T INSURER WITH NEDBANK THEY DON'T EVEN PAY CLAILS

Tried to open a non resident account. Worst customer service ever. Months and months of chasing up and all emails ignored. Put in complaints which are then forwarded to the person who I complained about asking them to "please deal with this" which of course they don't because that's why I was complaining. Wish I'd read reviews before I chose Nedbank. Now I have to start the process again with another bank. At least they can't be worse than Nedbank. Absolutely appalling.
