Love the ability to order and receive without leaving the house

On Saturday, 12th October, I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new sofa and armchair from Next. However, when the delivery van finally pulled up, my excitement quickly turned to frustration. Two delivery men stepped out, and to my surprise, they informed me that they wouldn't be able to bring in my items due to concerns about potentially blocking the road. I tried to reason with them, pointing out that there were hardly any cars passing by and that they had no trouble parking. But they insisted, mentioning the possibility of emergency vehicles needing access. Their proposed solution of leaving the items on the pavement for someone else to move into my house later was unacceptable to me, especially considering my age and inability to move the items myself. After a heated conversation, they promised that someone from Next would contact me later. When they did, I made it clear that I was not pleased with their handling of the situation. I demanded that they bring the sofa back and that I would find a neighbor to help me with the items. However, they refused, claiming that leaving items on the street was not something they do. We eventually rescheduled the delivery for the 30th of October, with the assurance that a smaller van would be used. It boggled my mind to think about how many other customers' items they may have delivered that day, especially considering that most of their customers likely live in residential areas similar to mine. It felt like the drivers, Richard and Mike, were seeking a cash handout that day, and only then would they have delivered my sofa. I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed I by the whole experience .

I thought I should share my experience. Following some brokers on Instagram, I end up losing my saving money and profits. With the help of wikihelpdesks @ gmail .com I was able to retrieve my losse and my money

I have a Nextpay account which I find works really well for me. I get priority ordering when they have a sale. Luckily have been still able to order sporadically thru Lockdown, although they did stop for a while. But on the whole, I find the company & delivery good.

Having checked website for coat in my local store went to purchase - none available even though website still showing as in stock !!! Then ordered on line for delivery into store 22/12 during night received an email stating problem with order and would be delivered in “ a few days “ checked on line tracker 22/12 which stated delivery into store 23/12 , called next customer services who confirmed would be delivered . 23/12 checked on line tracker only to find delivery date removed , called customer service who after some time admitted goods still at warehouse but may still be delivered today ???? Asked to speak to manager only to be told that the manager can call me back within 5 hours - what is this all about -are there so many complaints !!!!! Have checked website and item is still showing as in-stock in store and is also in stock from next directory - What is going on here ? Can anything on the website be trusted ? I have shopped with next for over 30 years both in store and online but it would appear that the website cannot be trusted at present - if an item is not available say so before accepting orders then customer can look elsewhere instead of waiting for goods that materialise at the convenience of Next and not the customer .

Why oh why does it become almost impossible at certain times of the year to get grey school trousers for 16yr old girl??!!! Bought a style from Next and she now needs more but seems to be always 'not available at this time'. Their need of school trousers continues throughout the year! Quality and value was a definite 4star of the ones already purchased before.

Petite lines not available in all colours offered in standard sizes . Worth paying the delivery for a year .
