NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN SIX MONTHS ON STILL WAITING FOR DELIVERY

I have bought from Oak Furniture Land many times before, but never again. Purchased bedroom furniture in June for delivery beginning of November. Get a phone call a week before delivery to be told it’s delayed until May 2022 at the earliest. Could they not have told me this weeks/months ago. Very poor customer service! Full refund requested. Very disappointing.

Shocking service I bought furniture on the 19th June for Delivery on the 3rd of Nov now been told that the date for delivery is next April which is laughable as the site says buy now in time for Christmas I have tried to cancel my order but just fobbed off every time I call it’s frustrating when new sales calls are answered straight away but customer service you have no chance of getting through shocking service

I purchased a mattress, last September from Oak furniture land, it fell to bits. The after service I received was terrible, customer service promised to phone you back and never do, when arranging a delivery it’s on there terms and not yours, I arranged for afternoon delivery and they turned up in the morning, I would never shop there again!

Ordered a bed in June, was given a delivery date for Oct, rang today to ask about the delivery as it never arrived, was told deliver is now March - told them to cancel the order - there was no communication of late order and no delivery. They can only be described as being incompetent. I would never use them again.

Ordered goods at beginning of July for deliver last week of October when I was not at wok. Just received email saying they cannot deliver but go on line and chose a new date. Earliest date was 4th April. I telephoned and cancelled an item which was holding the order up. They telephone back to arrange a delivery date but then told me another item was out of stock and would not be available until March. Could not cancel the order as it was in my husbands name even though they had cancelled an item with my agreement. Asked to speak to a manager but one was unavailable.

Can beat that. Ordered several items July, with delivery due late October, only to be informed now not available until May. 10 months. Told them where to stuff their order, cancelled and will re-order elswhere

It's really simple, don't buy !!! ....I've been waiting since May for my furniture , been told today it won't be here till January!! ,Despite a month ago being told it would definitely be here by 21st of October ...put a complaint review out and they replied saying they will pass on my concerns. 😡

Poor staff - This outfit expects 50hr weeks for highly qualified HGV drivers for minimum wage rates plus £3 with lots of heavy lifting plus driving all day!! AVOID as think of the staff as only worth slave-pay?

We were miss sold a bed settee which is so uncomfortable we can't sit on it for any period of time. The cushions rippled after 6 days and looks cheap as shown in the photo. The customer services said they are not prepared to do anything about it, even though we complained 6 weeks after delivery. The engineer said it wasn't a good bed or a good sofa but there was no fault with it. I am disgusted with their customer service attitude.

Store sales advisor 'sold the idea that IF I were to £99.99 the delivery guys would carry the product upstairs (wardrobe) I am a disabled person as he saw and acknowledged and said the 'white glove' £99.99 delivery services would take care of it The product is being returned for full refund currently sits in the hallway partially blocking our walkways? I am very annoyed, Sales guys will say anything to earn the commission they are rewarded with.

I feel your costumers should be made aware that your wardrobes are unsuitable for delivery to a typical Edwardian house, as delivery men seem to be unable to navigate stairways. Been waiting from July for my moderately sized wardrobes, only to be told the delivery men could not make a three point turn at top of stairway. Have had larger items of furniture delivered successfully from other retailers in the past. In addition the kitchen dresser that I ordered was found to be damaged when I unpacked it.

Great sales, awful for everything else. Visited the Poole branch and bought a table, 10 chairs and a large dresser. Spent around £2700 in total, and had a great experience. We agreed on a specific delivery date, but only found out half way through that day (which was 2 months after purchase) that they weren't going to turn up, and only after we contacted them. We managed to arrange a time for part of the delivery, which turned up about a week later. The amount of packaging was ridiculous, and filled up half the garage. So much polystyrene! And the instructions for assembling the items were less than usual (but it didn't take a genius). We had to wait a total of 3 more months to get the second part of the order that wasn't damaged. On the 3rd agreed delivery day, the dresser turned up but looked like it had been dropped, hard, and was split. We were originally told it would take 2 months to even arrange collection, but this got gradually reduced. The second time it was delivered, there was still a crack in the wood, and the delivery men who assembled it did it wrong. Finally it got swapped again, and we had what we ordered. Although the quality is not what we expected, the shelves do not align with the frame. Much of the wood isn't what I would call 'solid', it may not be veneer, but it feels almost paper thin. This unit cost just over £1k, which I feel is just unacceptable. The contact was an absolute nightmare, we were told the wrong contact email, stuck on hold for hours. One time that we called the call centre, I could just hear the staff chatting about a festival they were going to, and ignored me entirely. In total, awful service from delivery onwards, only offered a 5% refund as a 'goodwill gesture', very overpriced for the quality. Never using the company again, and I am going out of my way to tell others to avoid them.

I ordered my furniture in January 2021. I was given a delivery date of 25 June 2021. Here I am in September still without furniture. I had a delivery in August of 3 items. I am still outstanding 4 items. They have just cancelled my delivery on 21/10 because 1 item is still not in stock until at least 29/10. I am told it is not their policy to make a delivery of the 3 items I could have because they have already delivered to me once. So despite the fact my husband has taken a days holiday for next Tuesday(too late to change) and that we haven’t had a table to eat off since June that’s their policy. The website shows a maximum of 20 weeks delivery on all items and 7 days on others. There is now also a sale on. So I now have to pay more for the pleasure of waiting longer. Totally disgusted. Never again!

On the day of delivery I got told I would not be receiving my order and it would be at least another 3 1/2 months. As I had already waited for 2 months and paid for the goods. So I cancelled the order. Bad customer service would not recommend to anyone

Took money back in May, never delivered just keep arranging delivery and cancelled. Something seriously wrong with the company so beware with ordering from them

I have been trying to contact Oak Furniture Land for many weeks regarding a dressing table that arrived damaged (an attempt had been made at some point to glue damaged piece back on) and also there is a bar which should attach to the legs but these don’t align. Having spent many hours trying to get through to customer services and completing their online contact form I sent a written complaint- needless to say no response. I can safely say this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered by a country mile. Please avoid, they are not cheap and there are not many of us who can afford to give up and replace.

Product was fine. Store sales colleague really good - I feel sorry for them. Delivery shocking. Drivers literally threw chest of drawers off the back of the lorry and smashed it and scratched the second unpacking. I refused delivery of all the items as painted wood and I didn’t trust replacements to be colour matched and it took an hour with the lorry kerbside to get them to verbally agree to this. It helped I’d paid the £99 room delivery service or I’m sure they would have just left them in the road. I have photos and clear cctv footage of the event and recording of the phone call so will take legal action if the full refund and apology doesn’t happen soon. As somebody else had seen them throw the chest off I was not happy the drivers said manufacturing error. Without the witness and cctv footage o would never have known.
