Furniture is fantastic but the delivery was shocking - rude, unprofessional staff. I would NEVER use this company again to deliver anything (ArrowXL). One of the delivery men was very threatening and abusive on the phone and kept calling me every few minutes demanding to know where I was! They are supposed to call you 30 mins before delivery but he left me a voicemail saying he was 10-15 mins away and when I phoned him he said if I wasn’t there in 5 mins he would leave and then he hung up on me. Just diabolical.

APPALLING customer service. DO NOT ORDER from them. There are better companies with better quality products. I ordered a oak wardrobe and paid £469. There was a delay in notifying me about delivery. I rang them and we confirmed a delivery date. They pointed out it may be a doorstep delivery. I said this was not suitable as I live alone and cannot move an oak wardrobe on my own to upstairs. I was told to speak to the driver and sort it out with him. The delivery email stated it MAY be a doorstep delivery. When they arrived today the delivery man refused to come in saying they were not allowed. It turns out all deliveries are doorstep. This should be made implicitly clear to all customers as I am sure there are many people like me. I had to open up the parcel and struggle upstairs piece by piece and some of it was so heavy it made me feel quite ill. Having now seen the items I am disappointed by the quality. I have alot of oak items and know good quality when I see it. This is not and many of the wooden joining pegs are broken. I have paid £469 for an unassembled, questionable quality wardrobe, just dumped in my hallway. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I ordered a coffee table for a Christmas present for my daughter, it had been discounted on the website and stated that it was classified as a second as the customer had returned it as the measurements didn't fit their lounge but there was nothing at all wrong with the item. It was delivered to my address as my Daughter and Husband were spending Christmas with me. They took the unassembled coffee table home and when they came to unpack it soon realised it was severely damaged and there were also large drilled holes in the sides. They took photographs and sent them to me. I contacted Oakworld and after a long wait on the phone I eventually got through to someone. They gave me the email address to send the photographs to which I sent immediately. I was then contacted by Katie from Customer services asking me to send a photograph of the original package that the table would be returned in, I did this that day. A week later I had received no instruction as to when the package would be collected so contacted Katie by email. She replied the following day asking me to send a photograph of the package which I had sent direct to her the previous week! I have sent her numerous emails confirming that the package is to be collected from my Daughters home, who lives 2 hours away from me, and giving her the full address. I have just received a telephone call from the Couriers confirming that they will be calling at MY address tomorrow to collect the package! They tell me that they cannot take instruction from me regarding the collection address. I, like everyone else wish that I had looked at the reviews before ordering anything from this company. Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars. Absolutely terrible company who obviously think its fine to send out severely damaged furniture and make it difficult to return anything!

What a company . Three times it has taken them to deliver an undamaged chest of drawers that I originally ordered in January 2020 and each one has arrived damaged .Sure once is one to many times but three is totally unbelievable . I have finally given up and settled on a refund of 25% and the damaged unit which I am not happy about but cannot go through the risk of a fourth delivery turning up and damaged, and to be honest I feel I can trust them now to deliver a perfect item . With the second unit to arrive damaged they insisted that I keep the packaging to return it in . Great as it was delivered in May and collect in December , I don't live in a large house so keeping a large cardboard box for seven months was very difficult A total pain and disappointment to deal with My advice is to avoid this company .

AVOID!! No option for no stars or that's what I would have put. My dad ordered a bookcase that was due to be delivered in October. now in January 2021 and still no sign of it. Customer services have told my dad that it's coming from VIETNAM. Dad is trying to cancel but may have to open a dispute with PayPal. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

My advice is to stay away from this company - terrible customer service - furniture ordered but only delivered one piece and never delivered the rest even though it was ordered well in advance for an Xmas gift (had my money though) - numerous phone calls to them with no help at all as to where my furniture was - worst quality black chest of drawers (the one piece that was delivered) - eventually got refund and ordered from Next - far superior quality and all furniture delivered within a week - will never use this company again - trust me and go elsewhere

Missing item from order, useless delivery firm also, neanderthals employed by them. The slats from a bed missing therefore rendering the bed useless, not as useless as Oakworld customer service though! Long delays in replying to email and phone calls and ultimately still doing nothing. Eventually gave up and bought my own slats as i needed the bedroom to be finished. Don't buy from this company!

Shocking after sales service. Item was damaged. I wish I’d read the reviews. PLEASE, don’t waste your money here. I’m having to beg for an incorrectly fitting item to complete my order. They say they’ll deliver & don’t turn up. You’ll waste days waiting in. Apparently our money isn’t as important as theirs. Dreadful all round. Do not buy

Spent just under 4 grand on living and dining room furniture which was ordered in June.. Still waiting and can't get anyone to respond to my emails.. Now reading the reviews can honestly say I wished I had done this sooner.. Absolutely appalled that this company is allowed to trade.. I am a key worker and have worked hard for this money and was looking forward to seeing it in my home for Christmas... I am so upset by what is happening and want to sit and cry.. I have no dining room furniture and nothing to eat my Christmas Dinner off... What an end to a rubbish year... Please please do not use this company

Sideboard arrived broken. Replacement was finally sent after chasing multiple times. That also arrived broken with parts missing. Such a shocking experience.

Do not deal with this Company. Nightmare to communicate with. Nobody seems to know what is going one. I now have a dining table that seats 6 but only sent 2 of the 4 chairs ordered . After a further wait of 7 weeks I have been told the chairs are no longer available. Love the product but could cry now left with an incomplete set. Next battle is to get my money back! How long is this going to take. 😂

BEWARE! Ordering is easy. However, delivery is a totally different experience. The delivery company communicates via text only, and if the delivery date is not convenient they will send you another one for the same week day, there is no flexibility. They only delivery in some areas on a Monday, others on a Wednesday etc.... very disappointing.

I placed my order on the 23 August 2020 and knew there was a lead time of approx 8-9 weeks. Email received on 29 September advising that my sideboard would be delivered by DPD on the 1 October - it did not arrive; further email received from DPD that day advising that they would deliver on 2 October. I did think it odd that DPD would deliver as I had thought that a piece of furniture would be delivered by Oak World themselves; when the item arrived I realised why it was delivered by DPD as you could lift it up with one hand (this is a piece of furniture which at half price had cost me £219). Email sent same day requesting collection of item and refund; however this is where problems were encountered; 8 emails and various telephone calls later I finally received my refund on the 30 October. The sideboard was packaged and ready for collection for over 2 weeks and was blocking my front door as I had nowhere else to keep it (I had already purchased a replacement and needed the room). I cannot fault the staff at customer services but this company really needs to brush up on their time management.

Part of the item was damaged and I was offered a replacement part, however the part took 32 days to arrive despite being told it would be 21 days at the latest. By this time I cancelled the order and sent the other parts back, however a neighbour signed for the spare part (10 days after the order was cancelled) which is so huge that I now can’t move it out of my hallway. I’m pregnant and have asked them to come and collect it as it won’t even fit in my car for me to try and dump it and the rubbish men have refused to take it. Lauren at Oakworld has refused and said it’s down to me to dispose of it. Despite me explaining it’s impossible to remove and causing me a lot of stress they will not collect it. I have been given a refund but I’m now stuck with a 10Kg part which measures over 2m long in my hallway.

Zero stars but no option for that!! Been waiting for my refund since the 1st Oct still no sign of it. Constantly told it will be sorted but it never is.

Terrible from beginning to end I placed an order of over a grand for bedroom furniture in June. I got an email saying it would arrive on 21st July. A family member took a day off work to wait in for this as I'm a key worker but it never arrived. When I called back I was given multiple different dates on when it would arrive and had no clear message on whether the furniture had even been built. I was then told it would arrive on w/c 24th August - over a month after agreed. I called throughout that week only to be told it would arrive on the 7th or 8th September - a month and a half after originally promised. The furniture has now eventually arrived and it is not even as pictured when bought. The colour was meant to be a mid grey and is actually off white. After almost 2 months of ordeals with Oakworld I'm going to repaint it myself so that I don't have to be in contact with this terrible company any further. Will definitely be advising friends to avoid Oakworld.
