“Trips to the supermarket aren't much fun for our two kids so buying the bulky stuff online gives us that time back. Very seldom have any issue with out of stock items and you're always made aware of availability before completing your order. Smart pass worth doing (esp when there's an annual offer like the one we took advantage of) as you save a fortune on delivery costs and gain more with special offers too.”

“There is sometimes a problem with packing, with delicate goods packed under tinned goods, e.g. To be fair, Ocado are brilliant at replacing or refunding the damaged goods, but I'd rather not have the hassle. However, things have definitely improved recently, so perhaps the message is getting through. The only other unsatisfactory aspect of Ocado is buying meat. (1) The customer ought to be able to specify a target weight, or perhaps a preference, e.g. 'no smaller than 1.5 kg' -- the bands are too broad. And (2) all too often with two-portion packs, the portions are very different in size. I now tend to buy lamb chops in 4s, so that I can match up the two biggest, for one meal, and the two smallest, to bulk out with extra veg. I suppose some people might want a big and a small portion, but we need to have the opportunity to specify this -- e.g. 'equal portions' or 'one big, one small'.”

“We've been shopping with Ocado for 4 years now. I love that you can see if a product is in stock, so you don't have the disappointment of swaps when you receive your deliveries. If ever I've had the need to request a refund (broken eggs etc), the refund has been dealt with quickly and with no fuss. Deliveries are always on time and the Smart Pass means I don't pay for deliveries. More than happy with the service offered and have recommended to friends and family.”

“Excellent delivery service for food. There are so many delivery slots that it is easy to find one that matches your lifestyle, whether you are an early riser or a late worker. Price matching means that whilst not the cheapest in the country, you are paying a very competitive price for your groceries and the quality of food delivered, particularly fresh food, is excellent. I would highly recommend Ocado to anyone who wants high quality and delicious food delivered to their home.”

“Always great service, prompt, friendly service. Sometimes the use by dates could be a little better! Lovely to open the door to your shopping rather than endure the supermarket shop. Less impulsive buying and you can see what you are spending as you go along, no surprises at the checkout!”

“We moved from Richmond upon Thames in London back to our home city of Liverpool and the only downside was a lack of a Waitrose ( although the significant upside was a great food culture with on - site coffee roasters, sourdough bakeries and chocolatiers all around the neighbourhood. Still we want an easy one-stop-shop from time to time and Ocado provides this. The drivers are especially courteous and helpful. They rarely need to substitute for items and everything is fresh. Very reliable and makes life so much easier!”

“Since I change to shopping with Ocado, I would never go back to another Online Supermarket. I usually find them helpful and reliable with a good selection of the products I like. They are often a little more expensive so I do shop about to make sure I am getting the most cost effective option. I like the fact the drivers are normally cheery and happily bring the shopping into the kitchen for me to unpack. Compared to other online supermarkets, the drivers are also clean and presentable. They also have a good variety of Organic products.”

“Have used Ocado for my shopping for many years now and all of my grocery shopping is purchased form Ocado. It is the easiest and most pleasurable way of purchasing these items - would never revert back to driving-pushing and filling a trolley-queuing and unloading the trolley at the till - loading the trolley- out to car - unloading the trolley - driving - unloading trolley! What a nightmare - prefer just a few clicks - being able to amend until quite late and having the items delivered at a time to suit - already sorted not squished- at the correct temperature!”

“If you haven't tried Ocado yet you don't know how easy it is. My weekly shopping delivered to my door, by a friendly driver, at the time I arranged. He will also take the groceries into the kitchen. No more heavy lifting for me ! While having a cup of tea I do my shopping online, or if I wish I can arrange for a regular order to be delivered. The choice is extensive, from food to toiletries and gardening. I have been very happy to shop with Ocado for a few years now........why don't you give it a try.”

“Flexibility of delivery slots , choice and availability of products is first class and well ahead of other competitors in the home delivery grocery sector . Delivery drivers almost always courteous , helpful and on time . Couple of downsides : - Website could be improved - it can be very slow sometimes ( no , not my broadband ) ! Also , the search facility is not the most helpful in terms of finding products I.e . You might have to try several different terms to find what you want . Finally , packing of fresh goods sometimes results in messy spills in transit .”

“I am normally very satisfied with Ocado deliveries - hardly ever have substitutions and the drivers are always friendly. However, on the last couple of occasions the bags have been overly full and soft items have been placed at the bottom of the bags with very heavy items at the top. Some bags have had only 1 or 2 items in them. For example, I had a bag with just lemons in it, and another bag with tissue boxes, tomatoes, lettuce, bread at the bottom and bottles on the top. This happened with a delivery today and the last one. I would really appreciate it if you could ensure this does not happen in future and care is taken to place items in the bags based on the product. Thank you.”

“For me it's an easy decision Ocado is simply the right choice for excellent deals and fantastic customer service and the delivery service is second to none. I have used ocado for over 4 years and have never had a problem I have used Asda and Tesco's and had numerous complaints and problems. So try them today and never look back.”
