It's been 2 years since I closed my ocado account after a driver made false allegations about me as an excuse not to deliver. Initially I was upset but I have never looked back. Gone is the stress of wondering whether or not your order will be delivered. No more produce that's on the verge of expiry. And the Weleda shampoo I always paid £8 for is on Amazon for £5. Really enjoying the fact I'm saving money whole NOT supporting ocado. Feels oh so good.

Deliveries are always on time, fresh, well packed and delivered by polite, friendly drivers. Never had missing or replaced items. Customer service is extremely good with prompt positive responses.

Not fit for purpose. Deliveries late or cancelled without letting you know. Ocado is unreliable and not worth the smart pass payments, high prices and big overnight price rises.

We have been using Ocado for a few months now and absolutely love it. It's cut my shopping bill right down, never have substitutes, drivers are always on time, polite and the quality of food is amazing. The vouchers from the price promise always work for me too. I won't shop anywhere else now!

everything's 30% or more expensive than other supermarket. not an issue, you'd expect a great service, but not when drivers turn up out of slots. one driver showed me his device and he was booked out of the slot, they don't care what you pick, they just squeeze as much as possible. milk leakage all over one box (out of two), so half the shopping was compromised. heavy stuff packed on light stuff. driver said they only have 4 minutes for deliveries, so no surprise they barely give you any service, jsut hand you the bags and go. tesco is much better, good customer service, reasonably priced too. rang customer service on 3 different days, 3 different people, they all use a script and tell you they'll call you back. no one ever calls back. dreadful company

Ocado keep adding things that we remove from our favourites. They seem to add things for which they have a lot of stock and which I have already asked to be removed online and by phone. Also, if we buy: 2 packs of beef mince, fish, 2 packs of chicken - their use by date is 2 days after date of purchase. When I got to M&S in person, I can buy things that have longer use by dates!!! They seem courteous on the phone but they do not do what they say they will do.

Since posting our review with reference to damage caused by the Ocado driver to our boundary wall whilst delivering our on line shop on 25th May. The settlement has now been finalised on 9th July. On 15th July Ocado informed us that we would receive settlement within 10 to 15 working days. This Company is an absolute sham and anyone who deals with them might possibly endeavour the same problems. They have caused sufficent hassle to last a life time. I would not recommend purchasing from this Company.

Ocado cancelled my order with about 12 hours’ notice claiming that they couldn’t authorise my payment card, without giving me a chance to update it! I have a 6-week-old daughter, and this was my food for the next days. Inconvenience doesn’t begin to describe it. This is an outrageous way of conducting business and I will never use Ocado again.

Used Ocado for regular deliveries until the driver reversed into our wall causing lots of damage - despite their being at least 22 metres of frontage - five weeks later still in despite with Ocado and their validation company regarding claim. Why should we be out of pocket with this settlement when Ocado is at fault. Dont shop with this Company they are dreadful - and no one should encounter and hassle we have experieced.

Whilst making a regular delivery, the Ocado driver reversed into our front wall causing a great deal of damage. Almost five weeks later the case for compensation has not been resolved, despite submitting details information to both Ocado and they insurance side kick TBRN. Ocado have caused us a lot of problems and unncessary aggrevation especially when the driver had about 20 metres of driveway to reverse onto.

Hi we really like Ocado I don't actually understand Amy bad reviews as we had never had 1 item missing ir damaged or a late delivery. The delivery people are so polite too Value wise its great and we Usually have vouchers or money off etc. Food is yummy and I try go for the offers. I do also use marks Spencer value lines and I shop at our local waitrose too. I'm not a high earner But honestly if you are careful you can definitely get some really get deals Love Yr little vans by the way Thanks Michele and Kirk East Sussex And the dogs love their £1 treats They are cheaper than the pound shop..lol

I made an order online which was very good value for money. Ocado then cancelled my order 2 days later informing me there was a warehouse issue and I needed to rebook a delivery slot, when I rebooked the slot the voucher codes that I used previously were no longer being accepted adding more than £100 to my order. When I spoke to Ocado about this they informed me that the reason my order was cancelled was due to more than one voucher being used on the order (however their website allowed the input of multiple codes) and could not provide me a reason as why they told me it was due to warehouse issues. It seems as though Ocado purposely cancelled my order so they were able to cancel the voucher codes which were allowing such great discounts. For a company that has profited over billions of dollars year on year since 2020, I think it's disgusting that they have purposely intercepted and lied in order to prevent ordinary people from seeking a bargain.

We've only used Ocado maybe 6/7 times and there has always been something missing / damaged / wrong. Whoever packs the bags and boxes should be sent back for training or fired or something. My two year old could do a better job! And the process of trying to get thing rectified via their so called 'customer services' is like pulling teeth. Even the last Ocado driver to deliver to us was embarrassed about the state of our order and said it was par for the course unfortunately. Consequently, we won't use Ocado again. We find Asda much better, they dont make mistakes, we've had no damges, their delivery vans are much cleaner and the drivers don't see embarrassed to work there! Shame on you Ocado. You need to up your game massively.

Ocado My first online shopping with Ocado I made my first online shopping with Ocado on Sunday 31st of March abd was told i would not pay for delivery and I would receive discount as a new customer. I was given the delivery date as 2nd of April. The driver, Jamie, came today at 10:00am. He was very polite. He explained how some of my eggs were accidentally cracked, however he was swift to tell me that I would be refunded for the cost of the eggs. I definitely would shop with Ocado, as I like the way certain food items were packed. For example, the 6 granny smith apples were placed in a lovely box 📦 😀 The bill for my shopping 🛍 was good value. Thank you Jamie for your friendly and good service 👍 Date of experience: 02 April

I'm writing this as a former employee as Indeed job site removed my post because it was far to honest and they didn't like it because they recruit heavily with a heavy turnover of staff for them. So after a recruitment process all done online for a delivery driver at the Cheadle Hulme depot (shows they are desperate for staff) I was taken on, given 3 days training, which was hurried and not in depth (because they wanted you out on the road asap), I was sent out. The device they give you to get around called a Dani system, sends you everywhere except where you need to be going most of the time, sends you down country lanes with dead ends, takes you around long routes and spins around like a compass so you end up going the wrong way, then when you end up in a dead end and stuck, it's all your fault! The yard is a pokey little area stuck at the end of a tight street with so many delivery vans and articulated lorries turning on a pin to back up, it's ridiculous and dangerous! No set procedure for safe driving to get in and out of the yard. A lot of the managers think they are in the Gestapo or should be, BUT not all I do add! I did this for 3 days on my own out on the road and you rush around like a blue arsed fly and you don't get a break because you don't have time. They say don't rush, but if you didn't try to, you would be at it all day! You certainly could risk points on your driving licence doing this job! Ok, you get out and about in the van , but they watch you like a hawk, monitoring everything you do. Days off wise, mainly one day at a time and work most weekends. To the very, very rude lorry driver who drives for Ocado and you know who you are, you are a disgrace to your profession! Avoid!!!
