“Horrific experience with the parking service offered be Best Western located at 5300 Airport Square Lane, Sandston, VA. Please remove them as an option for travelers out of the Richmond Airport. They left me stranded in 32 degrees temperature as I was instructed by them to wait outside. Kept calling the hotel to get updates of the shuttle but never answered the phone. Finally decided to call a cab to the hotel. They were just ignoring my calls because the shuttle was parked there and the driver was at the lobby. The manager told me that since I didn’t stay at the hotel they were not obligated to pick me up. I paid to park there and expect them to honor the full agreement. Just lousy service. Beware to all travelers!”
“had a terrible experience with the manager at 6000 Royal Mount Ave. Upon arrival, he refused to accept my car and was extremely rude. When I called for directions, he hung up on me and later texted me, mocking my ability to follow maps—even though the location had no clear signs or identification. His unprofessionalism and lack of assistance caused me to miss my flight, forcing me to run through the airport and making me feel unwell. Completely unacceptable service.”
“I wrote a review about my airport parking experience at a specific location near PDX that I booked through onestopparking, since my car was stolen from the lot and I want other people to be aware of the potential risk. They decided to refund my parking cost, and didn't post my review (probably because it was refunded/I was no longer a customer??). This is super sketchy to me- I specifically looked through the reviews before booking, and would like to be able to trust reviews to provide an honest assessment as opposed to only the positive impressions.”
“Joke of a business. Any good review is written by them for sure.
First issue was when I needed a shuttle service, called as directed 30 minutes before arriving. "Sorry but we have not recieved your reservation soon enough to prepare a shuttle for you". Ok, I'll uber to the areoport, i tell him. He calls back, "please sir, there is an elderly couple who also just dropped off their car, can you take them with your Uber please. I will refund you when you return to pick up your car"
Tonight I landed back at montreal areoport, called after I picked up my luggage and got yelled at. " why you call now fir your car, my driver wait al day no call to inform me what are doing, you can get your key tomorrow" he tells me. I say what the f#@k, he says "you don't say this word at me, you don't know me" like he will fight me or something. I wasn't even angry or yelling, just confused as the advertisement says open during the hours I tried to call. Then tells me he should charge me more for the extra time my car is there.
Save your money and sanity, park anywhere else. Horrible service, low class people.”
“I am extremely disappointed with the service provided for parking at this hotel. When we called for the shuttle to pick us up, we were informed that it was not running at that hour, even though our parking was scheduled until 1 a.m. This left us stranded, and we had to arrange and pay for an Uber out of pocket.
Had we known the shuttle service would not be available as paid for, we would never have chosen this parking option for DIA. The lack of communication and failure to provide the advertised service is unacceptable.nThis experience has been frustrating, and I cannot recommend this service to others.”
“When booking, it is mentioned to call 1 hour before to schedule the shuttle service, something that I confirmed by mail the day before because I was arriving early, I tried to call at 5:30 a.m., 5:45 a.m. and with no response, left a voice message at 5:50 a.m. requesting the shuttle for 7:10 a.m. without return call to confirm from them, I called back at 6:15 a.m. I was on the way in 35 minutes to arrive and they refused me the shuttle telling me that it was already there and that it was impossible to get another one! I found myself without parking 2 hours before my flight with a gentleman who was laughing at us I don't recommend, really run away”
“Price was good. But the customer service was 1/5. The first guy that drove us to the airport was super nice. However, when we returned and needed a shuttle from the airport back to the parking, I called customer service and went to where I was supposed to (based on the email), and he said the driver would call me when he arrives. I call back after 30 mins (of no calls or texts), and a woman answers and I explain the situation. She was quite rude and said “no one calls you. They don’t have time to call you”. She was not helpful at all, and didn’t listen to the situation. I walk outside because there’s a car that resembles what I’m looking for, but I wasn’t sure. Just as I got to him he was calling me (so the lady was wrong). If the cars were branded and there was clear (and helpful) customer service, then this would have been a much better experience. It seems like their process isn’t efficient or streamlined, and this causes lots of confusion all around.”
“The on route trip to the airport was overall fine. However, the return trip was a nightmare. After arriving at the airport, we called ahead to notify them of our arrival. They said they'd be able to come at 11am, which wasn't too bad, we just had to wait 20-30 minutes (as we'd arrived at the meeting spot at like 10:30). However, come 11:20, they still haven't shown up. We call back several times in the course of the next two hours and get terrible responses from there is traffic, to having "issues" and many other excuses. Half of the time they were incredibly rude about it too, hanging up several times before we finish talking, thus making us having to repeat call again. Almost every call they say they are sending the driver or he is coming. They keep on saying they'll be right there so because of that, we decide to wait outside in the cold waiting for them when we have two people sick. They finally show up shortly after 1:00pm, resulting in an almost 3 hour wait time.
Upon talking to the other passengers, apparently the van they use to pick people up has made several trips and they themselves had to let one van go as It was full. Despite them saying they'll call us (which they never did) and us keeping our eyes peeled for the van (which took like 3 calls to get the van colour and model from them, it was wrong too), it still took 3 hours of waiting. But the biggest problem was how they kept on lying to us and making excuses about traffic or some other bullsh*t reason.”
“The worst ever parking, they do not have real shuttle and want you to manage your bags with other travelers bags.. to the point they asked us to take one traveler and leave the other at the airport, then we come back to the airport to pick up the left waiting traveler....never book with them. Not to mention the awful discussion on phone with them.”
“Van driver refused to take us to airport due to overbooking. Was told it would be an additional hour until they could transfer us to airport! I can’t recommend.”
“Car was damaged - £600 worth - to front bumper and offside doors. It had been driven like a lunatic with a burning clutch on arrival!
No reply to communications afterwards. Do your homework, this is a scam! The cars are taken by jockeys”
“Bad experience! we followed the address that is on the internet and the parking was not at the address. We only discovered this when the attendant inside a trailer told us it was somewhere else. The coordinates didn't work and he refused any help. I asked to cancel and he was rude to say that he was not going to cancel and that it was our problem. We almost missed our flight because we had to hire another parking lot around the airport.”
“Would never use again, don't touch them. Disastrous service, three quarters of an hour wait for car to be brought back after collecting luggage. Numerous promises that car was on the way and would be arriving within 10 minutes, however... Avoid them like the plague!!!!”
“Arrived at Onestop parking at DIA 2 1/2 hours before international flight. Made a reservation there a week previous. Showed parking attendent reservation and she just kept saying we couldn't park there because they were full. Fearfull of missing our flight, we sought parking elsewhere and had to pay a premium price $200.00 more. One stop refunded our original fee, but would not pay for the damage they caused. It was a bit like the Seinfeld where they had the reservation for the car but not the car EXCEPT IT WASN'T FUNNY! It was very stresfull and expensive!
AVOID ONESTOP PARKING!!!
I will be looking at small claims court.”
