“After original offer, had inspection, inspection report was presented 25 days after(15 days after inspection period). OpenDoor was hell bent on recovering some of cost of notpickey items on inspection(ie trimming shrubbery and cosmetic painting). Eventually paid another $1k because I had 3 types of flooring in living area and was not an option on original site discription. House was resold within 2 weeks for $10k more than they paid. Lots of frustration for very little return. Will not use them again.”

“I tried to sell a rent house we own to Opendoor when the tenants moved out. They did their assessment and told us the home was worth only $153,000 fixed up. I knew that could not be correct based on the sales in the neighborhood and even one on the street so we declined after trying to negotiate with them showing them the sales. We ended up putting it on the market and sold it for exactly what we told them we thought it was worth at $170,000.00. I have no problem with a discount for the repairs it needed but they did not even start out with a realistic number. I tried again recently with another one and got the same exact result. The word on the street is Opendoor is moving out of Texas so I assume that is why they are lowballing the values.”

“I loved my experience with Opendoor. They were wonderful, even though I kept moving my move out date. They understood and were great about it. I got a great price, and I'm very happy. I tell everyone who are thinking about selling their house to contact Opendoor.”

“Opendoor was outstanding when it came to the purchase of my home. I was unable to close at our first appointment, however Opendoor was willing to postpone the closing for a few weeks while I worked with my loan officer. The house was clean, and all repairs were completed. I am extremely happy with my new home!”

“Love Opendoor. The title company was a little off but i sold my home to them in 2018. Glad i used them. Got in the ballpark of what i was gonna list house for and we decided to use them. Was apprehensive the whole way. Was figuring they would hit me on the inspection side. Figured that was where the catch was. They thoroughly went thru the house and found about $800 worth of stuff in which i got about over half done and they did the rest. I would use them again and recommend them. Why go thru all the hassle if u dont have to. I probably ended up leaving 10-15k on the table on about a 300k house. Well worth it since we found another home we didnt want to lose out on.”

“Opendoor really made the process simple for us. We had a couple things to smooth out towards the end but the team was stellar in helping us do so and we moved into our home on the schedule we’d planned for (and it was tight!).”

“Opendoor came to our rescue with a better than expected offer. We had tried to use another (Nextdoor). They offered us $32,000.00 less than Opendoor. The process from beginning thru closing was as smooth as silk. Everyone was courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their house.”

“Professional, painless process. Fast. Fair price. Would definitely use them again. Oh, that's right, I did! Four months after they purchased one rental home from me, I sold them a second. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a hassle-free transaction. Even their prices to repair things were probably better than I could have found on my own.”

“After my friends passing what's the family living out of state we wondered how we were going to dispose of the property I saw the ad Open Door on TV as well as online I contacted them and shortly thereafter I received an offer larger than we had expected and we thought for sure they had penalties and taxes and things that would take it back down to what we thought we'd get to my surprise there are four not only held true but even with the small Seas they did have which were mostly for repairs to that I didn't know about you got a better offer than we could have ever gotten by going through a normal realtor we are very happy with their service and I recommend and constantly the others good job over your if I need you in the future I know how to find you”

“Opendoor was professional throughout the entire process. The initial offer had compared our house to houses in a nearby subdivision, which resulted in a lower offer. After a short discussion with Opendoor, they provided an updated offer that was competitive. The home inspection was thorough; but, not absurdly so. Some minor faults were identified; however, Opendoor did not reduce the offer price. The interactions with Opendoor personnel were painless. In the end, it was a painless business interaction. Considering the offer we received and fee that we paid, we probably received a little less than if we had sold our home through a conventional real estate company. However, it was worth the convenience. We did not have to deal with open houses, people coming through our home, and most importantly for us, did not have to worry if our home being built would be delivered on time. Open door was flexible on our settlement date. I definitely recommend Opendoor to anyone looking to sell.”

“We bought our first home through Opendoor & the experience was quick and easy. Their customer service was great, but their repair team was lacking. Everything started to fall apart after we moved in. Their new paint job started peeling in the first few days, the front door disintegrated when we tried installing new weather stripping. The garbage disposal failed within the first month. The houses "look" great, but it's all just a big bandaid covering a lot of issues. If buying from them, be prepared to have things go wrong & to fix a lot of issues.”

“Open Door was right there to explain and help us navigate our home selling process. Prompt return calls and information made it a breeze. Not having to show the house was very convenient also. We were happy with the price we got for our house. My husband and I highly recommend Open Door!”
