“We were looking to put our rental on the market and I reached out to Opendoor to see what they might offer. I was a little surprised with what they came back with, in a good way! I went ahead and did the Video walk through and they came back with a final offer that I could not refuse. I thought they would ask much more for the repair concession because I had already done a mental calculation of what it would cost me to do the necessary repairs myself. After I accepted the offer the Opendoor team walked me through every step of the way. It was the easiest sale that I have been involved with. I will definitely use Opendoor again for my next sale. Thank you Opendoor.”

“Overall it was a great experience with OpenDoor. It was nice to be able to purchase a NEW home with the funds from the home I sold to them without having to move out until the new home was ready. It did get a little bumpy towards close as it seemed as if OpenDoor, the builder, mortgage company and the title company weren't all communicating directly with each other and I ended up having to communicate the information between all of them. I'm not sure if I misunderstood the process but I thought OpenDoor took care of it all. Luckily after a few days of doing it myself and updating the parties, it seemed as if they all had started to communicate with each other eventually. While that was a bit stressful and frustrating, Marvin L with OpenDoor made sure to keep updated our current house and moving dates so that we did not have to move out before the new house was finally signed over. As with anything, there will always be a bump on the road but overall highly recommend.”

“This was a simple way to sell my home. I was a little skeptical at the start since there is no agent to help if you have questions but eventually I spoke to my representative and that was fine. The worst part was going through decades of accumulated family stuff! Never again will I hang on to all this stuff! I closed on time and it was a good transaction.”

“Why is it that Opendoor IS NOT being truthful about the defects on their properties on the sellers disclosure? Also, why aren’t they updating their sellers disclosure once an inspection has occur and multiple have been identified as deficient? Who is allowing this company to do this and lie to buyers and agents? I'm sure you have had other complaints related but don't show. Take the feedback and make the company better.”

“I have to write this review as I can not enter comments to my original. But they are nonresponsive. They should put their people solving issues and wrongdoing instead of acknowledging the thoughts. There was no response from opendoor and cancellation of contract after one month of inspection (non-standard), and wasting more than $2000.”

“This company is very non-responsive, provides little to no details when you can get ahold of someone and often the information they provide is incorrect. This makes life extremely hard as a realtor trying to help someone purchase a home.”

“Opendoor is the worst company to deal with. I am buying a home from them. When I sent my offer for a home in the market for the last three months. all of a sudden, they got multiple offers. I revised my offer a little bit, and they accepted it. We sent a home inspector who highlighted several issues, but he asked for a foundation inspection due to cracks in the walls and floor. we sent a foundation inspector, and now they don't like his report and want me to send another foundation inspector and waste money. They are not willing to inspect by themselves and repair the problems. Now I will be stepping back and losing money for inspections. So please stay away from buying homes from them. They are sitting in their office and don't respect other's time and money. If you want to waste time and money (inspection in my case), then offer a highly-priced home. They must be banned from buying Residential homes and corrupting the market. Soon we will run a campaign to stop corporates purchasing residential homes and hiking the prices for profit. Home is a basic need of any human. It shouldn't reach out to common Americans. Now after wasting a whole month of inspections and money. Now I am losing Option money and withdrawing my offer.”

“Working with Opendoor was a breeze! We were skeptical at first, but boy we were wrong. Opendoor worked with our builder to align our closing dates, which allowed us to stay in our house while our new house was being built. I have already told so many people about Opendoor. Great experience!”

“the sale of my house was so much easier than I expected. I expected a parade of people going through my house. Delays and excuses, That never happened, IT was quick and Simple Opendoor kept right on schedule and the paperwork was quick and simple. Everything was right on schedule. the only problem I had was finding a mover during a pandemic. When I buy my next home I will go through Opendoor.”

“BS company. Cannot get a hold of them ever. I have been on hold for 10 minutes. How can you do business as complicated as a real estate transaction without being able to communicate with the purchaser/seller? They also offer about 20% less than market value in my experience. I have offers and actual sold comps to back up this data. 10 years experience as a realtor.”
