“After being bought out at my place of employment I needed to prepare to move. I reached out to 2 companies that purchase homes. Opendoor's offer was WAY higher than the other company. The gentleman I dealt with at Opendoor (Chris R.) was exceptional. They made the sale of my home so easy it was disconcerting! The offer was top of the market and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Buying my new home was so much more difficult with that lender so I very much appreciated how easy Opendoor made things for me. Can't give a higher recommendation!”

“Being in and out of the hospital this last year I wasn't sure when my last surgery would be. Opendoor gave me a fair price, and flexible move out time frame. Easy to work with, and straightforward dealing. I am happy and would definitely work with them again.”

“WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM THEM! THEY BUY LOW AND SEND IDIOTS IN TO TRY AND MAKE HOUSE LOOK GOOD! THEY ACTUALLY SPRAY PAINTED SHOWER AND TUBS WITH PAINT THAT BUBBLED AFTER FIRST SHOWER!!!SWEPT UP COCKROACHES AND HID IN LINEN CLOSET! HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT!!! RUN WHEN YOU SEE THERE NAME ON ANYTHING!!!!!”

“A neighbor sold their house to OpenDoor and the contractors being used by OpenDoor appear to be bottom barrel. The painters they hired for the outside of the house did ZERO prep, spray-painted one thin layer over the house, including the brick trim (which they were not supposed to do-try reading the HOA paperwork next time). There are also splotches of the prior color showing all over the place. I would not want to buy a house being sold by OpenDoor because if this is how they treat the outside, I can only imagine the corners cut on the inside of the home.”

“I am a senior citizen and a disabled veteran. I have owned many homes and did not want to go through the traditional agent to sell my home. I did not want to deal with a multitude of potential buyers coming through my home. I had received an email from opendoor stating they would sell my home eliminating the process of people coming through my house with appointment after appointment and that after a small review process over the computer and phone they would make me an offer. Once I completed the process which was not invasive and took very very little of my time I was made an offer I felt was better or equal to what a traditional agent...who was my friend.. offered me. And no face to face with anyone. Jacob had become my virtual agent and he was more than I could have asked for. Everything fell into place after I accepted the offer. I was impressed with the fact that I could back out of the offer at anytime up to closing but they could not. We set a date and in the middle I had an unexpected surgery that incapacitated me very close to the closing date and it was impossible for me to close on the date. I explained that to Jason and they were more than happy to extend the date with no questions asked. I went days past closing and set another date. We closed at my leisure and it was completely virtual. Not one time did I have a physical meeting with anyone...unbelievable. anyways the house is sold and all that was promised was delivered. Jacob was like an old school customer service person dedicated to my happiness in the complete selling process. I was amazingly impressed for how this all went down and how Jacob never ignored my questions and was with me through every process. I couldn't be anymore happy with how all of this progressed. “Opendoor gave me a great tour guy he made my house search an adventure and fun,Julio was the reason why I found myself 20 days after in escrow, and closing in less then 30 days Julio and Roman have been the best team. Very satisfied with their work 👍👍👍👍👍”

“After receiving call after call about a property I have no connection with, I decided to play along. One my second call from them today, I gave just enough info to get a price quote, after which I commented that I was tired of them wasting my time after I have told them to stop calling me. Below is the actual text I the received.”

Debra, Thanks for reaching out. To be very clear, the referenced "call" and follow-up "text" would not be a representative of Opendoor. We do send out occasional market material but do not cold call potential sellers. We also do not refer to ourselves as "Open door". Also, in a check of that number, it is not in our system. Communication, including sms, is recorded for quality and training purposes. I am sorry to read the inappropriate message that was sent to you but can confirm that this is not a message generated by someone that works for Opendoor.

“My husband and I kept getting these flyers in the mail from Opendoor..."We will buy your house, no repairs needed." I never even thought to sell my house until the housing market went thru the roof. So I decided to go online at Opendoor and see how much they would offer for my home. Immediately offered me an estimated 270k without any photos or anything. Once I agreed that I was interested, they set me up to do an virtual walk thru. Took 10 mins. The next day a person came out and took pictures outside and I had a solid cash offer of 250k. Once I accepted they allowed me to choose the day I wanted to close and they advised me that since I sold to them, if I also bought from them, I would receive a 2k ( I think it was 2k....2 or 5k) off the closing cost of my new home. They provided an app that has listings of homes. We were able to schedule viewings thru the app as well as make an offer on the homes we liked. They pair you with a real estate agent who helps you thru the entire process. And let me just say, our agent Stephanie, was AMZING. The house we got had 16 offers on it but she got it for us!!! Opendoor allowed us to close on my current house and go ahead and move into the new house while we got financing. They allowed us to stay in the new house rent/utility bills free for 120 days to allow us to find the best financing options. We even had a few hiccups in the road and actually went outside of our 120 days and Opendoor worked with us to make sure we got the home of our dreams!!! I have recommended Opendoor to all my friends who are thinking of selling and buying!!!! These guys are AMAZING!!!!”

“It was a pleasant experience, the price was reasonable, and I didn't need to worry about fixing up the house to have it sold. I requested an earlier closing date and Opendoor was very cooperative. I worked with Cole, he was very responsive and replied to my texts and email right away. When he was off, his team would follow through on all the issues. It made me feel there was a team instead of just one person working on my transaction. I would highly recommend Opendoor to my friends.”

“I'm a real estate agent and booked a showing to view a "vacant" property with my clients. We arrived 10 mins late and called customer to assist with access to the property. The customer service made me wait 10 mins outside the home and that I had to create a new appointment on a property that's been on the market for 120 days. You need to have better systems so that we can all work together as a team.”

“I am very pleased with OPENDOOR and the service they provide. I was blessed to be assigned to Karen Tazioli she made everything happen I loved the idea I never left my house from the beginning to the end and she’s very professional in everything she does and knowledgeable of her job.
