“I am buying a new home with Lennar and was referred to Open Door. Since then, my Lennar agent will not refer his customers to Open Door, and this has nothing to do with me. I was offered 630K for my home. I had an appraisal, and it was a little low but acceptable. The home that we wanted in a corner lot took almost two years to become available. Open door let us know that they could only hold our offer for 9 months. When we had a closing date for our home, we listed our home for a short time with a real estate agent to see if we could sell it at 620K. Things were a little slow, so we went back to Open Door for another offer. They came out and offered us 530K for our home. When I asked for the reason, they said the market had changed. I am a home inspector, and it is true that it has slowed down a little but not that much. When I called to ask I had to make over seven phone calls to get an agent who would talk with me. They refused to review the offer to see if it made sense. I will never work with this company again.”

“My husband and I were very skeptical about using Opendoor at first. In our mind, selling home can’t be that easy. Never heard of Opendoor in the past and it was our first time selling. We couldn’t bear the thought of going through the traditional process such as open house as it was our first home. Lennar our builder has partnered with Opendoor and knowing that has made us consider in using them. Did all our research and watched videos on customers who used them. However, there are a lot information available everywhere. We had a very tight deadline in selling our home as it was contingent in buying the new one. Overall timing with selling & buying at the same time was very stressful for us but the process itself with Opendoor has made a huge difference. Until now we still cannot believe how easy the overall process was. Their app is a great tool as you know exactly where you are in the process and what they need from you. In roughly one month, we sold and bought our new home. Thank you so much Opendoor for being part of our journey!”

“From the beginning to the end Luke was fantastic to work with. I've never sold a property before so he walked me through each step and made sure i was informed of every move that was happening. I appreciate the time he took to listen to me about the property. It was very special to me. It made the situation my personable. I will definatley use them again and I encourage anyone who is looking to sell a property to use OpenDoor.”

“Open Door made the process of the sale of our home so easy! We were able to pack and move to our new space without the anxiety and hassle of having to show the house and coordinate timing. They led us through the whole process and all the people we came into contact with along the way were great. Choosing our closing schedule was a real plus and we feel that the price of the offer was very fair and reasonable. We would highly recommend using Open Door and would do it again.”

“My experience was smooth and the communication was on point. They explained everything from start to finish with no issue. “First of all I am 76 years old my husband passed away December. I had so many people confronting me to buy my house or steal it from me. Open door gave me an honest offer closed quickly and I didn’t have to be there. They sent me a lockbox to put on the house, and I walked out the door with tears in my eyes of joy and relief, thanks so much”
