I had booked my flight though Opodo and then Flybe went into liquidation and I phoned OPOdo several times and once holding the line for over 50 minutes when an operator said she would put me onto other team for refund and then was cut off Just silence . They are giving all silly excuses and telling me to contact Flybe for refund when they know that its gone into administration. I also had paid £36 cancellation fees to Opodo so not good company to book with . Opodo has no intention of paying me back for the Fly be flight. difficult to get refunds and poor customer service. Call centre in India ! Asked whether it was Atol protected and she would not answer . Talked rubbish about Fly be will refund !

Opodo's customer service is terrible. Looks like many others agree. I've been chasing a refund for a flight I cancelled on 31st Jan and the refund still hasn't come through. I have spent over 1 hour trying to get through to their UK customer service department on the phone. I got through a couple of times. The first time, I waited for 20 mins listening to hold music and the the hold music stopped and there was no sound for 3 mins so I had to hang up. The most recent time, I got through to someone and they said they were putting me through to someone else. After being put on hold for some time, again I then heard silence for sometime and had to hang up. I then called back straightaway and got a recorded message saying the UK department was closed!!! Utterly terrible.

Awful company. Left me stranded... Didn't even book my flight for me. Blamed it on a 'glitch' don't ever book with these.

If I could leave a 0 star review i would. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a travel agency. An EXCUSE of a company please never ever book with these guys. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I was notified of a “major schedule change” to my flight, this new flight didn’t fit our plans so we were told we are entitled to a full refund, after a month of being passed from pillar to post and no one helping, they issued my refund. However it’s now going to take 90 days to arrive in my account?! How is this even okay, I can’t book another flight now and my holiday has been ruined. Please guys steer clear of this company at all costs, you will only regret it if not!

Over 3 hours queuing and they promised to email me the information I needed. They didn't. Will never book with Ocado again and would advise others to avoid at all costs.

I was going to China but that has been cancelled for obvious reason. Kind I said me to contact them within 48 hours as Air France has cancelled my flight. I had taken out cancellation policy with Opodo and I was to phone this premium service number. I spent 4 hours on the line listening to music on Minday, another 3 on Tuesday and phones at several different times today. I have also tried contacting them on their messenger helpline and good I was in a queue and not to back out, then after an hour or so I had to fill in my request again and was told I was in a queue. I have tried every phone number listed and no one answers even their complaints number. Can't find an email for them anywhere.

I have a "cancel for any reason" insurance which you can *ONLY* use while talking to an agent, which are not reachable by phone or chatbot for over 1.5 hours. On the phone my call was disconnected after waiting for 1h20m and on the chat an agent answered and have put me back to the queue after being waiting for 1h30m.

OPODO is a scam. Their claims team never call. Their flight bookings end up in disasters and they even refuse to confirm you on a flight you paid for. They never repay what they owe you. Legal action is the only way forward. And will make sure nobody ever books with you.

Absolutely terrible service, they have overcharged me for my holiday, they have take double the amount agreed in their own invoice by taking the payments twice. I have called several times and got absolutely nowhere! Disgusting, do not use them under any circumstances. I cannot believe they get away with such poor customer care and I have no faith that they will ever get back to me to resolve this issue.

I keep calling for a refund. Now they actually telling me that they have technical issues and can't hear me very well (reservation's seem to hear you ok). These guys are the same type of people like the overseas scammers who phone you up trying to con you! Nothing worked email phone or chat. Avoid at all costs.

I got an email to tell me that there had been a significant modification to my flight and to contact them on the given number within 48 hours. I tried several times, and each time I was reconnected to the correct department. Sometimes I would wait for 10 minutes before the music cutting out, once I waited for 2 hours - the music cut out after 40 minutes of waiting, but I thought I may still be on hold. I started to wonder if the staff were just sitting on "mute". Either way, terrible system, and terrible service. I still haven't been able to find out what my significant modification to my flight is... at this rate, it better be an upgrade to first class. I won't use Opodo ever again.

Very bad customer service, impossible to speak to Opodo by phone, I had to give up after 48 minutes waiting on the line. By Facebook messenger was also a disaster, had to wait for 30 minutes to talk to someone. I bought a ticket where the conditions stated that changes were allowed but the agent informed that "voluntary changes" were not possible. I asked to cancel and by another ticket but they informed that it would have to be escalated to another team... Meaning there is no integrated customer service and no easy solution. Simply hated the experience and will never use this company again.

I was going to Japan for my 65th birthday but decided to change my flight because of the Coronavirus. I was charged £230 for flight change and then I realised that the dates were wrong so I phoned them back within an hour to rectify the mistake and they charged me another £211. I feel that they have totally scammed me! Also I haven’t received any details of my flight! I’m totally distressed about it all and I don’t know what to do!

Opodo didn’t confirm my ticket. They said because my last name is too long. My last name has 9 alphabets. I have booked airline ticket before with them. I don’t know why they are telling me rubbish now. This is the second ticket I tried to book with them. The first time they said the airline fares has increased that’s why they couldn’t confirm it. I will never book a flight with them neither nor to refer my friends and family.

If I could give minus zero stars I would. This is the worst travel agency ever! Do not ever consider them. Customer Service Sucks! You are placed on hold for a very long time 3.5 HOURS!! No one speaks fluent English! When you are finally able to reach someone, you get disconnected in middle of the call. They probably hang up on you! Totally overpriced! Emails are unanswered! If you think I’m just one upset customer please go and check out the reviews for Opodo Germany as well and you will see/read that I’m not exaggerating.

Ok I am in Paris and I just learn that my flight is cancelled and that they are not issuing a flight back to the US for me. Better than that they knew it before my departure to France. This is going to cost me a lot in money and stress . Thanks opodo

Received an email today asking us to contact them within 48 hours about a change in flights initiated by the airline in our itinerary. Three hours and over eight phone calls later, with several “accidental” disconnects whilst being “transferred to the correct department who could help us”, we are no further forward. All we got from them were pleas to call back in seven to ten days when they might not be so busy and more able to deal with our concerns; unbelievable! This is not a company we will ever use again due to their appalling customer service and my next phone call will be to my credit card company to initiate a refund under their chargeback policy.

Awful awful awful. Went to collect a car they took money prior. Wouldn’t let me pay for excess by anything but credit card. I had money on debit card. They sent me away with no car and wouldn’t refund me. I paid for goods I didn’t have. Don’t ever use these guys. They are conmen using a company and pretending to be legit.
