absolutely awful customer services! despite deducting £826 cancellation charges for 4 passengers, its been over three weeks, still not received the refund yet, every time I call, they say it will be refunded, but never received the money. Don't trust them, avoid using them at any cost!! they are only good at booking your tickets, once something goes wrong, they are awful. Customer service has no clue what to say!!

Booking with Opodo is straight forward and easy and so is their app as long as everything is smooth sailing. Once there is an issue it's a whole new ball game. Get ready to wait for a minimum of 30 mins and get to speak to a front line team that lure you into a false sense of they are doing something only to escalate your call to a senior team who seem to get worse. They take no real responsibility and have no clue what they are talking about as they use scripted responses. My example was where my flight was cancelled and the airline offered to repay the cost of booking my flight home on any airline within the same class or hotel stay till they were able to book me on the next available flight. Their only request was to do this through the Opodo as they booked the ticket. None of which Opodo new about or acknowledged and only to be told by the agent that I should not argue with him as he knew better on what the airline rules were. Luckily I went down to the airport anyway and the airlines took care of everything for me and rebooked me on the next flight, ensured I was ok and called mine just before boarding. I later got an email from Opodo telling me that my flight had been rebooked several hours later when I was already checked in. Never again - I would rather pay a little extra and book directly with an airline . Thank you Opodo for you terrible terrible service.

I have been dealing with Opodo regarding a refund that was sent to Opodo from Easyjet. I have been on chats with their customer service 3 times so far and each was about 2 hours long. When I ask a question, they took about 5 minutes to respond. Each time typing "please wait" every few minutes. When it came to loading the supporting documentation, they said it was taking too long and ended the chat. BTW, I was not loading it slow at all. By the third chat session, I had their tactics figured out and sent documents within 2 seconds because I had everything pre-loaded and ready to go. Their response was then that they never received them, or I sent it to the wrong email address. My response to that tactic was to send them screen shots that were indisputable that not only were the documents sent, but to the correct email address. They even went as far as to say that I could not forward an email to them (which what they originally asked for) but had to print it out, scan it, and attach it to an email that they sent... all in an effort to say that I was not responsive fast enough so they could end the chat. Unfortunately for them, that tactic did not work as I had all the documents and emails scanned as well. When all their tactics no longer worked, they resorted to saying the email and invoice from Easyjet, which clearly showed a refund was sent to Opodo, was not adequate. Easyjet had previously emailed me all the proof that they had that a refund was sent, as well as written an email that stated a refund was sent. On this third chat session, at the 1 hour and 40 minute mark, the very rude customer service rep realized he had no other delay and avoidance tactics left and quickly typed "is there anything else we can help you with" and immediately ended the chat as I was typing "yes". The best way to deal with this HORRIBLE company and their EVEN MORE HORRIBLE customer service it to call your bank and cancel all credit card charges or open a dispute. I called my bank and the charges were reversed in 1 day. I should have saved my time, effort, and aggravation by not dealing with these crooks to begin with, but once I did, should have resolved the problem with my finance company. Opodo obviously had no intention of deal with it honestly. My advice - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I travel quite a bit and this has got to be the worst travel company I have EVER dealt with in my life!!!

horrible, horrible company extremely bad service they are incompetent and their website gives misleading information the employees give misleading information - they do not care about the client - each time you contact them they reply using a template email without even reading what clients ask them they lied to me - they told me i would not get charged but i did. They do not let clients make complaints - their website doesnt work NEVER USE OPODO EVER STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

Booked with opodo only to get an email 4hrs later to say they couldn't provide the flight I had booked, but could offer another "lower class flight, different airline and different times"??? I called straight away and said I didn't want this as I could get it £1500 cheaper elsewhere...then the fun starts, passed from dept to dept and eventually being told that I would have to wait 10 days for a refund even though nothing had actually been booked. Searched again the next day for the flights and guess who's still selling them the cheapest "Opodo" I guess they do this so they can hook you in and then sell you different flights, wouldn't use again!!!

Unquestionably the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been passed from pillar to post by this firm trying to get a refund for a ticket for which I paid an extra fee to be able to change. I have been waiting a whole month for the refund, and the amount is far less than what I paid. The extra money that I paid in order to have a flexible booking is not due to be refunded, in spite of the fact that it's been a whole month and I still haven't got my money back. The customer service is dreadful; one often has to spend over an hour on the phone and no resolution is possible. I think their incompetence is intentional in the hope that customers eventually give up and the money is kept. I seriously doubt the authenticity of the positive reviews. Avoid this sham of a business.

Use opodo if You want to waste hours waiting for your phone to be answered and being redirected to god knows who who cannot provide any information. If Your flght is delayed they will cancel Your vehicle booking and You will not be able to find out what is going on because nobody will answer Your calls and in the end You will be standing with Your family by the desk in Palma waiting for another car that You book yourself from scratch. And forget about any refunds. waste of time and not a good idea to start Your journey.

Will offer alterations at one price then deny with a different agent/department and quote you through the roof for cancellations. £310 stolen. Avoid avoid avoid

I still haven't received my refund for the flight which was cancelled by Jet Airways and it's more than 25 days now. I had booked return flight for Jet airways with Opodo, Ref numbers are: 4168606935, 4168625688. Jet Airways cancelled the flights and on 20th March I had asked Opodo to provide the Refund for the same and they mentioned it will take 20 days to get the Refund back. On following up again on 15th Apr, their customer care said it will take 2-3 days more as it's pending with Finance team. Again called on 17th April and asked for the status, the person said it will now take 90 days. Each time I got different responses from the trainees, as their Lead / Manager never attend any phone calls even if the matter is escalated to this level. Plus they have asked me my bank details on email, whereas on their website and auto calls its clearly mentioned that refund will be given to the same bank account from where the payment has been made then why you guys are asking me to provide bank details again? Don't you have a database with you? Pathetic service. Never book ticket from Opodo. I have seen other reviews also here and feel like I have made a big mistake. The refund amount for me is also not a small amount. I really hope someone from the Opodo team check this review and help me with my money.

Although your booking website is now much improved, the short time allowed to pick return flights, fill in all boxes, add on extras and check card payment information is quite ridiculous. By the time I'd gone through all processes and just about informed that booking was going through, your site cut out. No time to check and print details or be sure payment had gone through. As you seem not to be contactable by phone I had to call BA directly at considerable cost to find out. I have used you're service for many years and although the experience with your old site was not always without stress this was the last straw. I won't be using you again unless you do something about the time factor.

They sent an email saying they were processing my booking and it would be confirmed soon. 7 hrs later the flight has now left and the status is unchanged. The carrier confirmed they did not receive the booking but there seems to be no way to contact Opodo to recover the money they’ve charged for the flight. Chat bot is completely useless and no human to help. Hoping my credit card company can help.

Worst customer service experience i have ever dealt with. Do not ever use them. I was trying to get them to explain why the cost on the receipt was different to the bank statement, he couldn't answer me and kept saying that i would receive an invoice through to the value on the receipt. I said this will still conflict with the different cost on the bank statement, he then put me on hold and said that he would put me through to his supervisor, i was on hold over 20 minutes and decided to hang up and try again. Got through to someone else, who was telling me the same thing and couldn't answer any of my questions, he just kept saying i would receive an invoice in 24hrs, i then asked if i could speak to their accounts department and he just kept repeating you will receive an invoice in 24hrs. Awful, appalling and very rude.

Terrible customer service, they don't care about you. Don't expect any service whatsoever. I called 5 times on 5 consecutive days to rebook my ticket, and they couldn't get it done. I had to leave holiday earlier because they were unable to rebook my ticket due to unavailability of tickets; a problem in their software apparently!! One day prior to leaving suddenly someone noticed my 1 star review on TrustPilot, and suddenly a guy called Ross started offering options. All of these options very expensive tickets that were no way close to my Flexible Ticket rate. A bunch of crooks that don't understand how to treat a customer at all. I tried to talk to them, but now I am done trying to help. Stay away from this lousy business.

Worst customer service ever. Booked flights to Sri Lanka and then onto India with the airline JetAirways. JetAirways have changed all flight times (which no longer fit in with my schedule) and cancelled my two flights home with no alternatives offered - leaving me stranded. I have tried contacting JetAirways on 5 occasions by phone, 3 emails and 2 Facebook messages - have had no replies. Opodo refuse to offer me an alternative flight or refund, despite paying for particular flights and now most have been cancelled! Customer services are not helpful at all, promise call backs and refunds which never turn up. Will be claiming money back from Small Claims plus all expenses incurred with having to find a new flight with such short notice. Avoid at all costs.

Horrific customer service - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They called us saying there was an issue with our flight and it was moved to the following day (no problem) BUT they didn't change our connecting flight leaving us in Atlanta for 28 hours instead of 4. Called their customer service 5 times to get them to correct this error and all they said was they would get back to us in 24-48 hours and then never did.
