I booked a flight recently and during the booking process it was stated that I would receive a discount of £12.37 for using my debit card. This discount was not given and I feel cheated. I use my credit card for my purchases normally and only used the debit card to get the discount. I did not even get a confirmation email following the booking, they just took the payment (without giving me the discount of course). They don’t answer the phone to deal with the issue and so far I have been unable to find their complaints procedure.

I booked a trip to Dublin for a party of 4, the invoice showed me the total price but failed to mention the hidden fees which I later discovered on my credit card. I was changed over £30 in fees for using this site which in the end amounted to the same as booking straight from the airline! Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic I have been unable to contact anyone regarding my booking. I tried to change the dates initially. Then to cancel as I had cancel for any reason guarantee added to my package. However despite calling continuously over the weekend I could not get through to anyone...What’s worse is that they don’t keep you on hold until an agent is available; they just cut off! I used the help centre via the app and selected talk to an agent, but I was never contact and they kept returning me to the ‘bot’. In the end I just called the airline and paid extra to have my flight changed. After a lesson well learned, my advice is DO NOT USE OPODO!

I have trying to get hold of the Agent to help change my flights so that I can travel earlier. They keep on telling me they are servicing people who are travelling within 8 days. What about the rest of the customers? Are we not important, worse I cannot get through the Agent, this has been happening since Monday last week. I cannot believe i fell for this scam of the travel agent. I am fuming and cannot believe I am about to loose my circa £1500. What is wrong with this people???

use this company. SCAM!!! Unbelievable.. So Opodo canceled my trip and I was supposed to travel in two weeks. They said they will gave my money back minus there commission!!! WHY??? I haven't done anything wrong.! Why are they not giving all My money back? They are lies... Please be aware because you bought your flight doesn't mean you are safe to travel. Scam... Please never ever ever use this company!!

I had a very bad experience with Opodo. It made me not trusting other third party online booking service providers. Definitely i would not recommend Opodo to my friends and to whoever that can read this review, better avoid Opodo just go to the airline website and book directly. To cancel your booking with Opodo, you have to call them and it will take long to finally speak with their agent, and worst sometimes no one really is gonna answer the phone. I was outside of my home country and no choice i have to contact them using my roaming number. Apart from not able to cancel my booking and did not get a refund, i ended up paying more for my telephone bill. Their call center is terrible and horrible. I would rate them zero if there is 0 in the selections. They never got back to me after several attempts and long unsuccessful calls.

Booked via Opodo and called them as advised by Singapore airlines my flight cancelled. Got zero help the guy just keeps telling me my flight is confirmed. But I have a cancellation notice from the airline.

Absolutely horrendous. Jet 2 cancelled our flight and Opodo didn’t actually inform me. It was by luck that I found out. Very poor customer service. Still waiting for my money back. My advise would be to avoid this company.

Whilst I understand we are in the midst of a global crisis which has seriously impacted the travel industry it seems my woes with getting through to Opodo are not new. I have had 3 bouts 2 - 2.5 hours of waiting for an agent to pick up my call and then the line goes dead. Similarly when using the chat service I have sat in the queue for hours and then when an agent picks up an error message. Reading everyones reviews and seeing how far back these issues go its time to get the Ombudsman involved to review the appalling service they are offering

Very bad customer service and refund policy As the airline has confirmed the are ready to refund but opodo is not willing to get in touch with them and i have contact them since two weeks no update on the opodo reservation or cancellation very bad policy and customer service It’s so much frustrating and won’t book again with them as it’s worse service ever

Worst service I've ever had. With Coronavirus pandemic at its peak they don't give any useful information, they just give you a link to the airline that clearly states "if you bought your ticket through an agency, please refer to them". A person pays to a travel agency expecting them to take care of you and your rights and Opodo keeps everything like "business as usual" with zero answers nor updates. I've been trying to reach the customer service via phone and chat for 3 days now constantly, knowing that my flight was cancelled so I can ask for a refund, and they kept me for several hours waiting to then kick me out and making me start all the processes again and again. It doesn't recognise my 10-digits reservation number through the phone. The whole experience has been so frustrating and they just disappeared, no ones answers. Definetly I'll never consider Opodo again and I will advice any person that I can to not deal with such a unprofessional company. And if they don't refund my money, legal actions will follow, because thievery is a felony.

I paid £689 for my flight and I had no right to at least one luggage bag,outrageous. Will not use Opodo again

What a bunch of rogues AVOID at all costs they will be very quick to take your money when booking but if there is a problem ie the collapse of Flybe or any other problem you cannot get through on the phone, if you do you either get a vacant muppet on the end of the phone or they just hang up. DO Not Book With these muppets at any cost BE Warned

Avoid at all costs! Dealing with Opodo is not worth the stress. Should anything go wrong or should you need to contact them for any reason you will find this is an impossible task. PHONE: No one answers. I was on hold for an hour a few days ago and today I have been on hold for 30 minutes. Still no answer. The automated message mentioned this is due to the Coronavirus, but I have used them once before in the past and I can remember it being much the same. EMAIL: They don't have one. That's right. It's 2020 and this company doesn't have an email address. This tells you all you need to know. That they DON'T want to be contacted. FACEBOOK CHAT: I waited for almost an hour before finally get a response from an actual human. "Hi, Sam . My name is Ritwik. How may I help you today?" Finally, I thought. I messaged right back with the simple question I had regarding my flight: is my flight cancelled or not? He read my message and began responding. "Are you there?" Ritwik asked. Again, I messaged right back. "Yes, I'm here", I messaged. Again he read my message and began typing. "Sorry, Sam, I have not received any answer from you. Do you still need help?" I told him yes. He read my message and then Ritwik rit his final message. "I am really sorry Sam but I still haven't received any answer from you and I need to close this chat to assist other customers. We are committed to offering the best customer service, so please don´t hesitate to contact us again if you continue to need our assistance. Thank you!" This was a couple of days ago. Since then I have been unable to speak with a human despite spending a good amount of time trying - Opodo have since programmed the automated messenger to tell you that "Unfortunately, due to the extremely high volume of requests we are only dealing with flights departing within the next 5 days." Terrible customer service

The worst experience I had in my life, no one after they took your money the don't answer your phone calls or your messages on Facebook. due to coronavirus, my flight had cancel by the airline and when I try to contact them to see how we can manage the refunds they don't answer your calls or reply to your messeges.

I agre 500% with all those reviews written. I've spent 50 mins waiting for an operator only to get a zombie response. Even their website and their guarantee is ambiguous. BIG WARNING - they are Charlatans. AVOID AVOID AVOID111

Every thing went wrong. We are all struggling with the corona virus and instead of helping their clients, opodo make our life a hell. reaching out to them by chat takes between 4 to 24 hours if they answers, phone calls wont work. after reaching out in chat they can never help and give the wrong information. will never recommend and will never buy through them again.

AVOID- FRAUD After one hour of holiding to get thru to an agent the agent took the details and just disconnected the call. I have had a death in the family and need to use my insurance bought thru opodo to cancel the flight. I would never recommend them or use them ever again
